PROGRESS : MOU has been signed by Ministry of Transportation and Government of East Java for developing commuter railway transport.

OBJECTIVE : Providing city transportation with train mode in Bandung PROGRAM : 1. Elektrification of Padalarang – Bandung (14 km) 2. Construction of Double Track and Electrification of Bandung –Cicalengka line (27 km) PROGRESS : Engineering Services is in process of Loan Agreement preparation with France.

SOEKARNO-HATTA AIRPORT RAILWAYS OBJECTIVE : Integrating railway line to Soekarno – Hatta Airport PROGRAM : Construction of railway line between Angke Station – Soekarno Hatta Airport (22 Km) including operational supporting facility COST : Rp. 4,6 Trillion PROGRESS : • Pre-Qualification process. • Process of tender refers to Presidential Regulation 67/2005 • Recommendation from Governors of Jakarta and Banten is needed to get trace decision by Ministry of Transportation and agreement from Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Forestry for Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA) and permit to use mangrove zone.

6. KUALANAMU AIRPORT RAILWAYS
OBJECTIVE : Integrating railway line with Kualanamu Airport.
PROGRAM : Construction of railway line for Araskabu Station – Kualanamu Airport (4 km) including operational supporting facility.
PROGRESS : Land acquisition is being conducted. Construction will be implemented with operation targeted in December 2009, cooperation between Ministry of Transportation and PT. KA (Persero).

7. RAILWAYS DEVELOPMENT IN BENGKULU OBJECTIVE : Developing railway track to support coal transport PADANG CITY
PROGRAM : Construction of 160 km track between Kota Padang – Pulau Baai (Bengkulu). COST : Rp. 21 Trillion

PROGRESS : • PT. Pathway International has to complete DED, AMDAL, Business Plan; • Tender is being conducted by Government of Bengkulu, because all traces are still in Bengkulu Region.

PROGRAM : Construction of 350 km track between Puruk Cahu - Balikpapan. COST : Rp. 7,4 Trillion PROGRESS : • Nippon Koei has conducted pre feasibility study of route for coal railway and identified route of priority. • Still no proposal from local government.
