Conclusions Both trauma and PTSD are highly prevalent in people with psychotic disorders People with psychosis and PTSD are stigmatized by clinicians and researchers Standard PE and EMDR protocols are effective and feasible Trauma-focused treatments are safe, do not exacerbate symptoms, reduce adversities, and may reduce revictimization. 12.5-16% of the people with psychosis is on the waiting list for effective PTSD treatment
