13 Herstelcompagnie - Commando Landstrijdkrachten Company: Bij 13 Herstelcompagnie werken de monteurs van de brigade. Zij onderhouden en repareren het materieel van de brigade, van voertuigen en apparatuur tot wapens. Of het nu defect is gegaan op de kazerne, tijdens een oefening of op uitzending. Dit gebeurt meestal in een werkplaats maar als het nodig is ook in het veld, dicht bij de strijd. Workshop: Tijdens deze workshop wordt de Koninklijk Landmacht en in het bijzonder 13 Herstelcompagnie uit Oirschot gepresenteerd. Onderwerpen die hierbij aan bod komen, zijn; de taakstelling, wat maakt de Koninklijke Landmacht bijzonder en wat heeft deze te bieden, maar vooral waarin onderscheid de officier, in het bijzonder van de technische dienst, zich t.o.v. leidinggevende in het bedrijfsleven. KennisDC Logistiek Limburg / Lectoraat Company: The logistics needs of companies and supply chains are continuously changing and new technologies provide opportunities to improve process or enter new markets. The Lectorate Supply Chain Management/KennisDC Limburg supports companies and supply chains in analysing supply chain problems and opportunities, developing new solutions and services and putting them into practice. Currently, the Lectorate is involed in the analysis of delivery failures in efulfilment (with Bol.com, Wehkamp, PostNL, DPD, etc..), optimization of city logistics (with BubblePost, PostNL, Thijs Logistiek), process optimization and CO2 reduction in container terminals (with Barge Terminal Born and BCTN Venray) and development of Trusted Trade Lanes from Asia to Europe (with TNO and Amway). Workshop: The research projects provide a good opportunity for students to work on problems that are innovative and highly relevant for companies in the near future. These projects give students an advantage as the results of the projects are well communicated within the industry and many companies get familiar with the project you worked on. Furthermore, it provides students the chance to learn about other projects and companies as well; most projects are carried out with serveral universities and companies.
