MONTHLY INFORMATION LETTER For The Month of April 2008 Dear Members, INTERCLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT WITH GLENMARIE On behalf of the Management DIG we would like to thank to all Members who have participated in The 5th Interclub Golf Tournament with Glenmarie Golf – Malaysia on 28-29 March 2008 at PIK and BSD Course. We look forward for Member participation in other club event in the future.

Kami mengharapkan partisipasi Member pada acara Club di masa yang akan datang. NEW GREEN CHALLENGE AT BSD COURSE To preserve our course as the best and a pioneer in golf industry also to enhance the enjoyment in playing golf, we will renovate green in BSD course. As a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course the renovation will organize directly by Jack Nicklaus’ team. The renovation which will take place during April – September 2008 is divided into 2 phases, 1st 9 holes and 2nd 9 holes. During the renovation, course will open as usual and a new challenge green with dimension 140 m2 is prepared for your convenience. The shape of the new green will test your golfing skill.
Untuk tetap menjadi lapangan golf yang terbaik dan terdepan dalam industri golf serta menambah kenyamanan seluruh member dalam bermain golf, maka kami akan mengadakan renovasi green di BSD course. Sebagai Jack Niklaus Signature Course renovasi akan dikoordinir langsung oleh team design Jack Nikclaus. Renovasi akan berlangsung dari bulan April-September 2008, dibagi menjadi 2 tahap yaitu 9 hole pertama lalu 9 hole kedua. Selama pelaksanaan renovasi lapangan tetap dibuka seperti biasa dan telah dipersiapkan green yang memberikan tantangan baru dengan luas masing-masing 140 m2. Bentuk green baru tersebut akan menguji kemampuan bermain golf bapak/ibu. HANDICAP MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS On Sunday, April 13, 2008 in conjunction with the April’s Monthly Medal at PIK course we will host “The 2008 Handicap Matchplay Championship Qualifying Round”. This qualifying round will determine the seeding of the Individual for matches. There will be 32 spots for Men and 16 spots for Ladies. The 2007 Men’s and Ladies defending Champion, Mr. Tjoe Eddy Gimin and Ms. Noviandra is exempt from the qualifying and will be seeded no. 1 in their division. For further details tournament conditions, please see enclosed tournament sheet.
Pada hari Minggu 13 April 2008, bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan Monthly Medal bulan April 2008 di PIK course, akan diselenggarakan pula babak kualifikasi untuk Handicap Matchplay Championship. Tahap seleksi ini akan menentukan pemain-pemain yang berhak memasuki babak pertandingan individu. Dari seluruh peserta turnamen akan dipilih 32 orang pegolf Pria
dan 16 pegolf Wanita. Juara bertahan 2007, Bapak Tjoe Eddy Gimin dan Sdri. Noviandra akan diperkecualikan dari babak kualifikasi ini dan akan menempati urutan 1 untuk Divisi mereka masing-masing. Untuk kondisi turnament secara terperinci dapat dilihat pada lembaran turnament terlampir.
KEEP GOLF CART ON THE MAINTENANCE ROAD During raining season, we would ask Member cooperation to keep golf cart on the maintenance road at BSD Course.
Selama musim hujan, kami mengharapkan kerja sama Bapak/Ibu untuk tetap menjaga golf cart berada di maintenance road di lapangan golf BSD. ANCORA GOLF INSTITUTE Please be informed that effective April 2008, Ancora Golf Institute will open for public at BSD course. The institute provides 2 Australian PGA as the teachers, Mr. Andrew Ratcliffe, a member of Australia PGA since 1994 and Mr. Scott Morrisey, an European and Australian Tour golfer for 5 years and has been a member of Australian PGA since 1994. For more details, please see the enclosed flyer. Bersama ini kami informasikan bahwa efektif April 2008, Ancora Golf Institute akan dibuka untuk umum di BSD Course. Sekolah ini menyediakan 2 pegolf PGA dari Australia sebagai pembimbing, Mr. Andrew Ratcliffe yang telah menjadi member PGA Australian sejak tahun 1994 dan Mr. Scott Morrisey pegolf Eropa dan Australia Tour selama 5 tahun dan telah menjadi member PGA Australia sejak tahun 1994. ORGANIZER Organizing Committee of the Damai Indah Golf Member ‐ Guest Monthly Medal. 2. VENUE, DATE & TIME Damai Indah Golf, Pantai Indah Kapuk Course, April 13, 2008, shot‐gun start on 06.30am. 3. ELIGIBILITY The Monthly Medal is open to all member of Damai Indah Golf and Guest (limited to 20 guests) with maximum course handicap 28 (men) and 32 (ladies). 4. SIZE OF FIELD The field shall be limited to 160 player. The Organizing Committee has the right to finalize the number of golfers to play in this tournament. 5. 10. TIES Ties for any place will be settled by count back system as follows : STROKE PLAY WITHOUT HANDICAP a. Last 9 holes (hole 10 ‐ 18), if a tie still persists, then b. Last 6 holes (hole 13 ‐ 18), if a tie still persists, then c. Last 3 holes (hole 16 ‐ 18), if a tie still persists, then d. Hole 18, if a tie still persists, then the preceding 9 holes (hole 1 ‐ 9), 6 holes (4 ‐ 9), 3 holes (7 ‐ 9) and hole 9, in that order. STROKE PLAY WITH HANDICAP a. Last 9 holes (hole 10 ‐ 18) deducted by ½ handicap, if a tie still persists, then b. Last 6 holes (hole 13 ‐ 18) deducted by 1/3 handicap, if a tie still persists, then c. Last 3 holes (hole 16 ‐ 18), deducted by 1/6 handicap, if a tie still persists, then d. Hole 18 deducted by 1/18 handicap, if a tie still persists, then the preceding 9 holes (hole 1 ‐ 9), 6 holes (hole 4 ‐ 9), 3 holes (hole 7 ‐ 9) and hole 9, in that order, deducted by handicap too.
11. OTHER CONDITIONS
a. Every Guest player must be recommended by Member and submit handicap card during registration. b. One (1) member may introduce maximum two (2) guests. c. Every no‐show guest will be charged directly to Member, Rp. 1.020.000,‐ per guest. d. Member who does not have scorecard record for more than three months shall not be permitted to join a nett score format. e. Only player in Men Senior group (with age more than 70 years old) and Ladies group (with age more than 60 years old) allowed to play using golf card and entitled for scoring. f. Lady golfer shall not be paired with Man golfer, exception for juniors. g. No relatives in one pairing (husband‐wife, father‐son‐daughter, mother‐son‐ daughter, etc). h. When the situation requires, the Organizing Committee has the right to assign a marker for players in any groups. i. The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during the competition rounds. 12. REGISTRATION The enclosed form must be completed and submitted to the Booking Office, and the Entry Fee should be paid through bank transfer (BCA Pluit Kencana Account No. 168‐ 3043048, Beneficiary: PT. Damai Indah Golf, Tbk), or either at our Course. Limited to 150 players. 13. CLOSING DATE Wednesday, January 10, or when 160 players have registered. Players canceling after Thursday, January 11, will not be entitled to a refund of the Entry Fee. 14.
