BĂILE TUȘNAD Este una dintre cele mai frumoase staţiuni montane nu numai din judeţul Harghita, ci şi din ţară, accesibilă pe DN 12 sau pe linia CF 400 Braşov - Deda. Se află la 32 km sud de Miercurea-Ciuc, 37 km nord de Sfântu Gheorghe, 67 km de Braşov şi 35 km de Baraolt. Băile Tuşnad a fost declarat oraş în anul 1968, fiind şi cel mai mic din România (1612 locuitori conform recensământului din 2012). Staţiunea, de importanţă internaţională, se află într-un loc deosebit de frumos, pe versantul vestic al masivului vulcanic Ciomad, în defileul Oltului, la 656 m altitudine, în mijlocul unor păduri de brazi şi foioase, având un aer deosebit de curat, foarte bogat în ioni negativi. Masivul Ciomad este cea mai tânără formaţiune vulcanică din Carpaţi. Aici fenomenele postvulcanice sunt foarte active, un factor important în viaţa staţiunii Băile Tuşnad. Cursul de apă principal al staţiunii este Oltul. Lacul Ciucaş plasat în mijlocul staţiunii a fost creat în scop turistic. Fenomenele vulcanice în zona Tuşnadului au avut un rol important în formarea şi dezvoltarea staţiunii. Prezenţa emanaţiilor de dioxid de carbon şi a apelor minerale au permis practicarea tratamentelor terapeutice şi au creat condiţiile ca oraşul să devine o staţiune balneoclimaterică importantă. TUSNÁDFÜRDŐ Erdély és a Kárpátok gyöngye, Hargita megye legszebb magaslati fürdőhelyeinek egyike. A 12-es úton közelíthető meg. Csíkszeredától 32, Sepsiszentgyörgytől 37, Baróttól 35 és Brassótól 67 km-re fekszik. Ma az Alcsíki-medence egyetlen városa. Tusnádfürdő 1968 februárjától Hargita megye egyik jelentős községe, majd 1968. május 27-től a megye egyik, Románia legkisebb városa. Városi státuszát ásványvizeinek és gyógyfürdőjének köszönheti. (1612 fő a 2012-es népszámlálási adatok szerint). Az utóbbi években Tusnádfürdő jelentős nemzetközi konferenciáknak ad helyet. A nemzetközi jellegű gyógyhely és klimatikus üdülőhely különösen szép természeti környezetben, a vulkánikus eredetű Csomád-hegytömb lábánál, az Olt Tusnádfürdőiszorosában (606 m) fekszik. A kies fürdőtelep hegyaljai klímája, negatív ionokban gazdag levegője jelentős turisztikai tényező. A fürdőtelep átlagos magassága 656 m, és fő vízfolyása az Olt folyó. A szoros mélyén csillogó Csukás-tavat az Olt vizéből mesterségesen alakították ki. Tusnád övezetének vulkáni eredetű jelenségei nagy szerepet játszottak a fürdőtelep keletkezésében és fejlődésében. Vulkanikus szénsav-kiömlés (mofetta) és az ásványvizek jelenléte tették lehetővé terapeutikus célokra való felhasználásukat, és teremtették meg a feltételeket ahhoz, hogy a település rangos fürdőhely lehessen. TUSNAD SPA Tusnad Spa is one of the most beautiful mountain spa in Harghita County. On the road nr. 12 it is 32 km far from Miercurea Ciuc, 37 km far from Saint George Town, 35 km far from Baraolt and 67 km far from Brasov. Today it is the only town in the Lower Ciuc Basin which status was recieved in 1968 due to it’s mineral waters and spas. (The population density in 2012 was 1612 inhabitants). In the recent years Tusnad Spa gives place to important international conferences. The climatic resort with an international character is at the bottom of the volcanic Ciomad mountain, in the Tusnad Defile of the Olt river (606 m). The foothills climate and the clean air, rich in negative ions, are important tourism factors. The average height of the spa is 656 m and it’s main watercourse is the Olt river. In the depths of the defile sparkles the water of the artificial Ciucas lake. The volcanic origin of the area played a major role in the formation and development of the spa. The gases which break to the surface (carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide) and the mineral waters made possible the therapeutic treatments and created the conditions for the town to became a prestigious spa.

Asociaţia de Turism Băile Tuşnad Asociaţia de Turism Băile Tuşnad s-a fondat în 2005, principalul scop fiind dezvoltarea turismului din localitate. Asociaţia a dezvoltat un plan de marketing multiplu, astfel participă periodic la târguri de turism naţionale şi internaţionale, tipăreşte broşuri şi cataloage de cazare, organizează diferite evenimente şi contribuie cu investiţii noi la dezvoltarea turismului din staţiune. Tusnádfürdő Turisztikai Egyesület A Tusnádfürdő Turisztikai Egyesület 2005-ben alakult és kezdeti célkitűzése a tusnádfürdői turizmus fellendítése volt. Az egyesület egy többágú marketing tervet dolgozott ki, melyen belül turisztikai kiállításokon vesz részt, szóróanyagokat és szálláskatalógusokat készít, rendezvényeket szervez, valamint új beruházásokkal járul hozzá a tursnádfürdői turisztikai kínálathoz. Tusnad Spa Tourism Association Tusnad Spa Tourism Association has founded in 2005, with the main object of developing the tourism sector in the town. The association has developed a multi-pronged marketing plan, within takes part on tourism fairs, make accomodation catalogs and different kind of flyers, organize events and develops the local tourism offer with new investments.

InfoTur Una dintre principalele activităţi ale Asociaţiei de Turism Băile Tuşnad este funcţionarea sezioneră a Biroului de Informare Turistică, din centrul staţiunii, unde turiştii pot beneficia de informaţii valoroase despre obiectivele turistice, împrejurimi, dar şi despre cazare sau alte servicii de turism oferite de staţiune. InfoTur A Tusnádfürdő Turisztikai Egyesület szezonálisan működtet egy turisztikai információs irodát a város központjában, ahol az ide érkező turisták értékes információkat kapnak a látványosságokról, a környékről, valamint a szálláshelyekről és egyéb turisztikai szolgáltatásokról is. InfoTur Tusnad Spa Tourism Association operates seasonally a Tourism Office, in the center of the town, which offers informations about the attractions, the surroundings, and also about accomodation and other tourism services offered in the town for the tourists just arrived here.

Pârtia de schi Sípálya Ski Slope

Pârtia de schi Asociaţia de Turism Băile Tuşnad în 2009 a dat în funcţiune pârtia de schi din Băile Tuşnad, şi constituie principala atracție de iarnă a staţiunii. Sípálya A Tusnádfürdő Turisztikai Egyesület 2009-ben hozta létre a tusnádfürdői sípályát, ami a helység legfontosabb téli vonzerejét képezi. A sípálya szolgáltatásai között a következők találhatók: síbár, síkölcsönző, esti sízés és mágneses kártyás beléptető rendszer.
