INTRODUCTORY WORD
Dear Exhibitors and Business Partners, We would like to thank you once again for taking part in the 3rd edition of the FOR INTERIOR, FOR DECOR and FOR PRESENT Trade Fairs, as well as in the 2nd edition of the FOR GASTRO&HOTEL Trade Fair. Altogether 432 exhibiting companies presenting their goods and services in 4 exhibition halls in an area of almost 20,000 msq participated in this set of Trade Fairs. The Trade Fairs were visited by 24,825 visitors interested in design, decoration, gifts and gastronomy & hotels. We are pleased to say that these Trade Fairs have become very popular, prestigious and professional autumnal events in the Czech Republic. We would like to thank everyone for pleasant cooperation, and on behalf of ABF - the organising company - we are already looking forward to meeting you in 2013 at PVA EXPO PRAGUE. OPENING The Trade Fairs were opened by symbolic ribbon cutting by our ABF General Manager, Mr Jaroslav Čížek, and by the Czech popular singer and co-owner of a store for design furniture, Mrs Dara Rolins. We invited also the President of the Association of Furniture Manufacturers, Mr Martin Čudka, President of the Association of Czech Hotels and Restaurants, Mr Lukáš Limprecht, Director of the Prague Patchwork Meeting, Mrs Jana Štěrbová, and the Chairman of the Council of the Prague District of Letnany, Mr Ondřej Lněnička. The third edition of the FOR INTERIOR Trade Fair was a great opportunity for presenting the latest trends and materials in the field of housing and interior design. This year we welcomed a large number of manufacturers and retailers of kitchens, beds, mattresses and traditionally also of seating furniture. The Trade Fair was also attended by companies dealing with children‘s furniture, luxury carpets made from old knotted carpets, and by manufacturers of doors and bathroom furniture.

Foreign countries were represented by Germany, Slovakia and by one Turkish company that presented design handles. There were also renowned architects and design experts who offered free consultations concerning interiors with regard to various tastes and spatial possibilities. Autumn competition of exhibitors – “MY TRADE FAIR” The grand prize was the luxury sleeping set Tempur at a price of CZK 127,000. This exhibitor competition was newly promoted on our FACEBOOK profile.”

FOR DECOR
This year we have tried to give maximum encouragement to contracting the Trade Fair, to help exhibitors in establishing new business cooperation, which tended to decline at the Trade Fairs held in last years. A new feature of the Trade Fair was a large number of major companies offering high quality of kitchens and home accessories from prestigious foreign companies. The product range of the Trade Fair included really diverse, representative and tasteful decorations and presents, a series of interior diffusers, design accessories for fireplaces, espresso coffee makers, candles, household textiles, paintings or original glass. At the Trade Fair it was possible to visit also the exposition of the world-renowned designer, Borek Sipek, who presented his vases, as well as news from the Shelf collection, Unique interior design, and yet affordable. For the first time there were presented several pieces from the upcoming limited collection of Christmas decorations.

The third exhibition of gifts and advertising goods retained its attractiveness and visibility for visitors. They could discover a lot of new competitive exhibits associated with presents and interesting presentations with workshops. This Trade Fair offered inspiration again not only to the general public who are interested in a high standard of living, but also to the companies looking for new advertising and marketing opportunities. Also during the third edition, the visitors could find there their favourite brands and companies offering managerial luxury gifts and fashion accessories of foreign brands, traditional Czech products - famous jewellery products from Jablonec, workshops, gift wrapping service with rapid presentation, luxurious wrapping of gifts, decorations, products, and services for extraordinary festive events for both business and private purposes. The visitors could find there also various gourmet specialties with a great tasting show, also jewellery products and minerals from a direct importer from China, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The second edition of this exhibition was again successful. The participants originated from the sectors of both gastronomy and hotel equipment. The Trade Fair was attended also by representatives of restaurants, cafes and catering services. The FOR GASTRO & HOTEL Trade Fair was supported by the Association of Hotels and Restaurants, which became its main professional partner again. The feedback from exhibitors confirmed that this exhibition is gaining its place among the autumn events. Visitors were satisfied with the accompanying program, which included culinary arts, presentations and tasting events.
