Profile Berawal dari keinginan menyanyi lebih serius, beberapa mahasiswa yang sering berkumpul dan bernyanyi bersama memutuskan untuk mendirikan Paduan Suara Mahasiswa (PSM) ITB secara resmi pada tanggal 11 Februari 1962. Adapun pendirinya adalah Bambang Bramono, mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Kimia yang kala itu menjabat selaku Koordinator Kesenian Dewan Mahasiswa. Mula-mula PSM ITB hanya tampil di lingkungan kampus dalam beberapa acara rutin, baik yang diadakan ITB maupun oleh Keluarga Mahasiswa ITB, seperti Wisuda Sarjana dan Pasca Sarjana, Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru, Dies Natalis ITB, dan pada upacara-upacara hari besar. Selain itu, PSM ITB juga turut berpartisipasi dalam wisuda Aryanti, Dies Natalis, kegiatan yang diselenggarakan Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa lainnya di kampus, dan lain-lain. Lebih lanjut lagi, PSM ITB memiliki kegiatankegiatan besar yang diselenggarakan dua tahun sekali, yaitu Konser dan Festival Paduan Suara (FPS) ITB, dimana FPS ITB ini telah berkembang menjadi Festival Paduan Suara berskala internasional pada tahun 2010 yang lalu. Kini setelah 49 tahun, PSM ITB telah menjadi salah satu Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa yang besar dari sekitar 80 Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa ITB. Di tengah kegiatan akademis yang cukup padat, PSM ITB berusaha untuk tetap berkembang. Untuk bagian pengembangan teknik bernyanyi, PSM ITB ditangani oleh anggotanya sendiri yang notabene sehari-hari lebih banyak bergelut dengan kuliah, studio, dan praktikum serta dibantu oleh beberapa alumni. Pada beberapa kesempatan khusus, PSM ITB mendapat bantuan juga dari pelatih-pelatih paduan suara lainnya. ITB merupakan lembaga pendidikan tinggi dan pusat pengembangan sains, teknologi dan seni yang unggul, handal dan bermartabat di dunia, yang bersama dengan lembaga terkemuka bangsa menghantarkan masyarakat Indonesia menjadi bangsa yang bersatu, berdaulat dan sejahtera.

Dukungan anda dalam acara konser ini akan membantu dunia seni yang dengan positif sudah membentuk karakter banyak individu menuju cita-cita mereka, secara individu atau bersama.
To further support the development of student choir activities, the alumni of PSM ITB from 1950s to recent graduates will present two concerts in two major cities, namely Jakarta and Bandung. This concert is focusing on fellowship and will highlight the journey of friendships among the alumni through an expression of art that is close to their hearts and has brought them all together. Your support for this concert will elevate the art platform that has formed positive character to many individuals towards their dreams, individually or collectively.
