Message from the Rector
I
UI has been accredited
by Times Higher Education-QS
as one of top 500 world class universities. As world class university UI is expected to set a high standard in the
development of academic culture in local, national, and international scale. In addition, UI is also holding a role as
trend-setter in developing science and knowledge through education and research. Last but not least, this university is also an effective energizer in the development of the nation's capacity building. In order to accomplish those ends, a qualified yet reliable data center is needed. UI Facts and Figures is published in response to that urging demand. The data is collected through multiple sources (department, faculty, central administration office and other stakeholders) and validated by development office. I sincerely hope UI Facts and Figures can be used by UI stakeholders to get any information they need. It is to show general public that university of Indonesia is accountable for its contribution for the advancement of knowledge-based society. Rector
