Delft, 14 september 2011
Electrochemical Sensors Datum: Lokatie:
Vrijdag 4 november 2011 ICAB Brussel

Delft, 14 September 2011
Dear colleagues, It is our pleasure to invite you to this year’s annual dutch/belgian meeting of the KNCV working group on Electrochemistry. It will take place in Brussels and will have the following theme:
Electrochemical Sensors Date: Friday 4 November 2011 Location: ICAB Brussel Programme description: The ability to accurately detect and quantify various molecules is of great importance for many applications. Electrochemical sensors are particularly suited for this purpose, and are generally much cheaper and faster than traditional techniques based on mass spectrometry or chromatography. Over the past few years, highly optimized electrode architectures, membranes and measurement techniques have resulted in much-improved sensitivities and selectivities. This has spawned many new sensor applications, ranging from biosensors for medical applications and DNA research to sensors for food production and local probes for investigating the fundamental mechanism of electrochemical reactions. During this symposium the principles, challenges and new developments in the field of electrochemical sensors will be discussed by experts from academia and industry. Registration You can confirm your participation via e-mail, see last page. The participation fee is € 25 and includes lunch. You are kindly requested to transfer your payment before 1 November to: ING/Postbank account nr. 611583 in name of R. van de Krol, Zuideindseweg 100, 2645BJ, Delfgauw. IBAN: NL61PSTB0000611583 BIC/Swift code: PSTBNL21 Please mention “KNCV-ElChem” and the name(s) of the participant(s) Alternatively, you can pay during registration at the symposium. We would appreciate it if you would forward this convocation to your students, colleagues and others who may be interested. On behalf of the working group committee, Dr. Roel van de Krol
