SUMMARY OF POSITION WITH GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES A new and exciting opportunity for the position Inbound Supervisor in the European Distribution Center (EDC) located in Olen has arisen. Via this EDC we are distributing our products for Europe and EEMEA. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Inbound Department.
ROLE
Organise and coordinate all activities from the inbound department Direct lead of the inbound team: - Organise workload - Set up holiday planning - Perform evaluations - Set up & follow up team targets Planning of inbound shipments: - Ocean containers - Overland transport - Express shipments - Air shipments Coordination of work flow (Sorting, Receiving, Put away, Replenishment) Implementation of improvement projects Other: corrective bookings, organise cleaning, order pallets, organise “pick up” waste containers
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate will likely have the following profile:
Education: - Secondary education
Experience: - Minimum experience in leading a small team within a warehouse environment is required. - Good knowledge of Microsoft excel, word and outlook are required. - Experience in JDE or other warehouse management system would be an asset. - Basic knowledge of English - Reach truck license is an advantage
