The country of the continent with the most developed economy is the REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA. The countries of TROPICAL Africa are in the most difficult conditions. This is one of the poorest and most underdeveloped regions of the world. More developed are the Arab states of NORTH Africa. Chemical industry has located in these countries with considerable HYDROCARBON reserves. Recently, plants have settled in some major cities of Africa to assemble for example cars from imported parts. However, most of the consumer goods for the local population are still from IMPORT. The terms CAPITAL and SKILLED LABOUR FORCE can be swapped.
