PERTAMAX RACING PRODUK : Pertamax Racing Fuel adalah produk khusus balapan diformulasikan khusus untuk segala jenis balapan baik roda 2 maupun roda 4. Spesifikasi produknya comply ke standar lokal Dirjen Migas RON 95 & standar International yaitu Federation International Automotive (FIA) & Federation International Motorcycle (FIM), sehingga dapat Menjamin kualitas kinerja mesin agar optimal. TUJUAN PELUNCURAN 1. Meningkatkan pendapatan khususnya dari penjualan bahan bakar khusus 2. Melengkapi pelumas racing yang sudah ada, sehingga memberikan solusi lengkap untuk racing. 3. Meningkatkan corporate image Pertamina sebagai produsen produk berkualitas 4. Mengurangi pemakaian Avgas secara illegal

DIMETHYL ETHER (DME) Dimethyl Ether (DME) adalah senyawa bening tidak berwarna, ramah lingkungan, dan tidak beracun, memiliki rumus kimia CH3OCH3 dengan berat molekul 46,07 gr/mol, memiliki Titik didih normal –23,7oC. Pada kondisi ruang (25oC dan 1 atm), DME adalah senyawa stabil berbentuk uap dengan tekanan uap jenuh sebesar 6,1 atm. Karakter DME memiliki kemiripan dengan komponen LPG, yaitu propan dan isobutan, sehingga teknologi handling LPG dapat diterapkan bagi DME. Sumber bahan baku untuk memproduksi DME dapat berasal dari gas bumi, batubara dan biomassa.
Latar Belakang • Pelaksanaan program konversi minyak tanah ke LPG memberi dampak meningkatnya kebutuhan LPG dalam negeri secara signifikan sejak tahun 2007. •
Dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan LPG dalam negeri tersebut dan adanya keterbatasan pasokan LPG domestik, dibutuhkan impor LPG.
•
Untuk mengurangi impor LPG yang semakin meningkat, diperlukan energi alternatif yang memiliki kesamaan sifat dan karakteristik dengan LPG.
•
DME merupakan energi alternatif untuk bahan bakar rumah tangga yang potensial untuk mengurangi impor LPG. 26
BIOFUEL Kajian Penggunaan BioSolar (B10) pada mesin Genset (kerjasama dengan BPPT) meliputi pengujian unjuk kerja dan durability. Tujuan : Melakukan kajian pengaruh pencampuran BioDiesel dengan Solar terhadap unjuk kerja Mesin Genset. Hasil : Pada dasarnya BioSolar B10 dapat digunakan untuk mesin genset, namun ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan, yaitu : Operational : oli, filter, injection timing. Keekonomian : konsumsi bahan bakar naik 1,39% dibandingkan dengan Solar dan penggantian filter lebih cepat. Gas buang menjadi lebih bersih dan mesin lebih tahan lama karena BioSolar memiliki sifat pelumasan yang lebih baik terhadap komponen mesin dibandingkan dengan Solar.

DIESEL V10 Maksud dan tujuan pengembangan Diesel V10 ini adalah untuk mengisi kebutuhan pasar yang memerlukan produk dengan kualitas di bawah Solar tetapi masih memenuhi persyaratan peralatan (Boiler) dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau.
