I was very disappointed with my own answer. i think my friend have better english communication skill, they get picture about : motorcycle, car, bee, fish, king, train, tank, chopstick, pan and many other picture. (The pictures are about: vehicle, fruit, vegetable, profession, kitchen appliances) engineering basic test consist of mechanical physics, power physics, mathematics, general (about 60 multiple choice questions) and 1 question to draw something from cube. allocated time 1 hour. yeah.. i only can work 65% maybe, and then 35% i fill with my feeling. nothing to lose...
and... one hour later, then, Alhamdulillah i still pass, and then go to the next step with 80 other participant.
3. Focus Group Discussion in FGD you will be divided in some group, one group is consist 7 people. the project is you must build a RIG from 25 paper A4 + tape, with minimum high 60 cm and the rig must be able to support the weight of a battery. yeah, and finally my group success to build a rig. but in the end of discussion each of you will get some question to accountable for the work that has been done. i only answer with standard, because my english is very bad. so i cant to deliver my idea with good.
GD berlangsung selama sekitar 15-20 menit, topiknya adalah membuat vehicle. Kelompok saya terdiri dari 8 orang, cewe nya cuma 2, kebetulan 1 lagi anak geologi juga angkatan 2010. Examiner FGD tidak stay di satu kelompok, mereka berkeliling, disinilah susahnya, kita harus bicara di saat yang tepat, yaitu saat ada penilai haha. Selesai diskusi, tiap-tiap kelompok harus presentasi di depan kelompok lain dan juga para examiner yang berjumlah kira-kira 5 orang. Kami presentasi bergantian satu per satu, semuanya kebagian pokoknya.

Pada games “membuat sistem”, saya mendapatkan contoh tentang bagaimana cara membuat sistem memindahkan telur dari tempat tinggi ke tempat rendah dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan yang diberikan. Ada juga salah satu referensi yang mengatakan bahwa tes kedua ini adalah tentang bagaimana cara membuat sebuah kendaraan yang bisa berpindah dari gurun pasir ke gurun es. Cukup menarik bukan? Kalau menurut saya, ada 3 kunci penyelesaian ini: membuat asumsi, membatasi pemikiran dengan peralatan yang disediakan, dan yang terakhir harus masuk logika. Pada games prioritas, para peserta kelompok akan disuguhkan sebuah studi kasus tentang seseorang yang sedang berlayar di danau/sungai/laut dan tiba-tiba ada kejadian yang membuat kapal itu tenggelam. Di saat genting seperti itu, tersebutkan ada 10 alat yang tersisa seperti kompas, peta, korek api, minuman keras, dan lain-lain (cukup banyak referensi yang membahas ini, silakan kunjungi kaskus mengenai thread ini). Nah, tiap kelompok harus mendiskusikan tentang prioritas barang yang harus dibawa mulai dari yang terpenting hingga ke yang tidak terpenting.

The format is this: there is a table consisting of 3 rows 3 columns. Eight boxes is filled with diagrams and you are required to fill the last one. Move the Egg (pindahin telur dari bawah ke atas) semua disediain bahan dan alat. tips: - bagi tugas se apik mungkin, siapa yg pegang gunting, siapa yg bagian ini, siapa yg bagian itu - jgn dominan bgt atau diam bgt, speak up tapi cerdas. -KALOK BISA pas di tanya "ini soal siapa yg mau menjelaskan lagi?" agan2 yg berdiri and jelasin. kalo penjelasan agan ok, english walaupun gak sempurna tp semua ngerti and tepat sasaran, JAMINAN agan 50% lolos. -yg dicari tahu dr grup diskusi dr agan2 itu: a. kemampuan agan berpikir cepat tepat dalam waktu singkat dan keadaan terdesak. b. kejelasan agan dalam menjelaskan sesuatu. (otomatis ngerti/ gak nya agan ke bahan terlihat sudah)
c. jgn egois atau sok pinter, tp juga kalo temen ngomong, dengerin dulu, kasih yg laen kesempatan ngomong. d. break the ice (agan kan pada ga kenal, masih kaku, tp karna ada agan, suasana tim jadi enak.) e. brave agan. ketegasan agan. kalo di gertak "yakin kamu?" jawab yakin kalo emang itu bener. di gertak suruh pulang kalo salah gpp gan. f. kalok di tanya ini kenapa gini, kenapa gini, itu harus masuk akal. g. dan yg laen lupa ane hehehe
ya mau ngelipet, gulung, atau gunting terserah ente gan. kreasi agan aj sih. design kita buat ndiri, di kasih waktu 5 menit trus di jelasin (person yg jelasin 50% keterima) yang mobil jg sama desain,lipet sendiri. jadinya ya mobil kotak gitu gan. ane rancang ban nya kyk banya tank. jgn kyk panser kita. ditanyain "kenapa banya 6" mampus itu hahahah. fitur2, bahan nya pembuat vehicle td itu apa, agan sebutin. fuel nya yg tahan sgala medan, dll. smakin sedikit kertas yg ente gunain, semakin rendah pula cost pembuatan apabila itu tadi vehicle yg agan buat bener2 di buat real. itu jg nilai + tapi yg paling penting sih ya gmn agan menjelaskan maksud yg di otak agan dg inggris yg tepat. jgn tele2 n harus bisa kerja sama. no kuper no otoriter
At FGD, we've been grouped in 9, and i was in the last group. We had to discuss the solution for solving the case. And the case was Black Bear. It's about the story of hikers in which the leader was attacked by black bear. We had to decide which one the best strategy for rescuing the leader and to get out of the forrest as soon as possible. Before discussion began, we had to choose our own strategy and ranked the most important item that the hiker should bring in order to survive. I choosed the strategy where the group had to be split into 2, which 1 group stayed to take care the leader while the rest of them went back to cottage asking for help. Thus, the discussion began. For 20 minutes discussing about the strategy, finally my group agreed with my choice. Not to be bragged, but im good at persuading people actually. Then we had to present the result of FGD one by one each group in front of the recruiter. I thought i was doing well, so i didnt have much worry at all.
ou should give full!!!!!! attention with your group and you should care with other member on group. you must not rejected any idea from your member frontally (even sometime odd) but you must give them rational reason why
you are reject that idea. all of your member must active, not only yourself, DO NOT to over active!!!….when you present your conclusion with group.DO NOT talk too much and give a chance to your group member, and if recruiter ask questions, you should answer as fast as possible with rational reason as well…and if your friend answering an odd answer, DO NOT blame them, and DO NOT take over microphone until your friend finish his/her answer…at that time, all of member in my group,pass this step (Magnificence, right!!)

Anda berlima sangat bodoh dan tidak mengerti apa2 tentang hiking ataupun survival, bahkan anda tidak tahu caranya membuat kemah. Di tengah hiking, sebuah beruang (bayangkan karakter Kuma di Tekken 3) datang menyerang. Sang scout berusaha melindungi anda, namun doi kalah karena sang beruang menggunakan 10 hit combonya. Sang scout terkapar lemah sementara anda berlima serentak kencing di celana. Terganggu oleh bau pesing, sang beruang pun pergi, namun tidak ada jaminan dia akan kembali lagi. Lalu bagaimana nasib sang scout? Apa yang akan anda lakukan? Jeng, jeng, jeng, jeng….
Dalam kasus beruang tak beruang ini, kita disuruh milih 1 dari 5 tindakan untuk mengatasi masalah ini dan disuru ngurutin prioritas pentingnya 10 barang. Secara tiap orang bakal punya pendapat yang beda, tiap orang jadi kudu berdebat mempertahankan pendapatnya dan gontot2an sedemikian sehingga satu kelompok sepakat sama satu tindakan en punya prioritas barang yang sama. Tentu saja, tidak ada jawaban yang benar. Klopun ada, itu adalah jawaban gw, hahaha:D.. Di kelompok gw, alhamdulilah ga ada yang suka nusuk2 ato caper2, walopun semua pengen keliatan menonjol. Gw sendiri lebih banyak cengengesan en bercanda2. Walaupun begitu, gw juga tetap mengeluarkan argumen2 yang fantastis. Berikut salah dua argumen gw yang sangat fantastis: “Guys, menurut gw, barang yang paling penting adalah sekaleng sarden. Kenapa? Klo beruangnyadateng lagi, kia tinggal lemparin sardennya ke beruangnya, trus kita kabur pas beruangnya makan sarden” Fantastis, pikir gw dalam hati:D. “Guys, menurut gw, barang yang paling penting adalah buku survival. Kenapa? Karena klo ada buku ini, kita bisa tau jalan tanpa pake kompas dan tau cara menghadapi beruang tanpa membunuhnya (kan kesian klo dibunuh).” Brilian, pikir gw dalam hati lagi.
