ABSTRAK
Lagu dolanan anak merupakan lagu daerah yang mengandung nilai-nilai luhur, ajaran moral serta budi pekerti yang dinyanyikan dengan bahasa yang ringan sehingga memiliki potensi yang besar dalam mendidik dan menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air dalam diri anak. Namun, dewasa ini, semakin banyak anak yang tidak lagi mengenali lagu dolanan karena konsumsi mereka akan jenis musik dan permainan telah bergeser ke arah teknologi dan budaya-budaya populer. Jika situasi ini terus dibiarkan tanpa upaya untuk mengubahnya, maka dapat berdampak pada pembentukan karakter anak di masa mendatang yang tidak mengindahkan moral dan budaya daerah serta lunturnya rasa bangga anak kepada kesenian luhur daerahnya. Perancangan ini merupakan wujud kepedulian untuk melestarikan dan mengajarkan kembali nilai-nilai luhur yang terkandung dalam lagu dolanan kepada anak-anak jaman sekarang dengan pendekatan teknologi, yaitu melalui multimedia interaktif. Multimedia interaktif edukatif ini tidak hanya menampilkan lagu dolanan beserta maknanya saja, tetapi juga disertai alur cerita sederhana yang mengajak anak untuk ikut berpartisipasi dan bermain-main melalui perintah interaktif sehingga menciptakan suatu pengalaman menarik bagi anak-anak. Kata kunci: lagu daerah, multimedia interaktif edukatif, desain antar muka
‘Lagu dolanan anak’ is a folk song that contains noble values, morals and manners teaching which is sung with a lightweight language that has great potential to educate and foster a sense of patriotism in children. However, kids nowadays are no longer recognize ‘lagu dolanan’ because their current consumption of music and game has shifted towards technology and popular cultures. If this situation persists without any attempt to change it, this could have an impact on the children’s character formation in the future that’s no longer heed the local moral as well as the erosion of their sense of pride to their local arts heritage. This project is a form of awareness to preserve and teach the noble values in ‘lagu dolanan’ to the nowadays-children through technology approach, which is interactive multimedia. This educational interactive multimedia is not only performing the songs and their meaning, but also featured with simple storyline that invites children to participate and play around with interactive commands that will create an exciting experience to them.
