Je z nich dokonce patrné, že se jejich autor jakémukoli náznaku oficiality cíleně vyhýbal. K fotografování používal „nejbezprostřednější“ fotografický aparát, jaký byl kdy vyroben, a sice diskrétní a bezhlučný kinofilmový přístroj Leica 6. Díky této bezprostřednosti a místy až překvapivé intimitě se při prohlížení jeho fotografií neubráníme dojetí. Václav Havel je tu náhle znovu s námi.

Kam až se dá v Jižní Americe dojet autem? ... a trabantem? Projeli jsme trabantem Hedvábnou stezku a přišlo nám to drsné, projeli jsme trabantem Afriku a přišlo nám to nejdrsnější... tak jsme se vypravili do Jižní Ameriky a mysleli, že větší masakr už to být nemůže. A byl!
Dan Přibáň vypráví o nejnáročnější cestě, jakou kdy se svými žlutými trabanty projel!
A aby to nebylo moc jednoduché, mezinárodní česko-polsko-slovenský tým vypráví o tom…. Kdo je větší pankáč? Kdo nejvícekrát ztratil pas? Kdo pořád vyndával motor? Které sprosté slovo má ve všech jazycích stejnou váhu? Tohle všechno a mnohem více v našlapaném vyprávění z nejnašlapanějšího kontinentu světa.
Severní pól chladu - Petr Horký Knihovna Kolín, 17. 4. 2013 od 17:00 hodin Připadá vám, že letošní zima byla moc dlouhá? V Ojmjakonu na východní Sibiři, nejchladnějším obydleném místě světa, trvá zima celých devět měsíců! Letos v únoru tam padl jejich vlastní teplotní rekord, naměřili minus 71 stupňů Celsia.
Právě sem zamířili na lyžích a se stanem dva čeští polárníci – Petr Horký a Vašek Sůra.
Dva čeští cestovatelé – polárníci, kteří mají za sebou řadu extrémních expedic, včetně severního pólu, se rozhodli procestovat tuto oblast klasickým „polárnickým“ způsobem – na lyžích se saněmi a stanem. Během třítýdenního putování Vaška Sůry a Petra Horkého oblastí pólu chladu vedla jejich trasa přes nehostinná horská údolí, část po zamrzlých řekách a rozlehlých pláních ruské tajgy, ale také na návštěvu festivalu Pól chladu a volbu Miss Pólu chladu.

Fotografická kolekce z natáčení celovečerního životopisného filmu o nejslavnějším současném českém cestovateli Ing. Miroslavu Zikmundovi. Kdyby tak žil nějaký člověk, který by posledních sto bouřlivých let v dějinách světa dokázal popsat, kdo by si to pamatoval! Představte si muže, který posledních sedmdesát let dennodenně píše deník. Představte si muže, který byl v Africe, když končil koloniální systém, který se setkal s prezidenty i lidojedy, s Gagarinem i Hillarym, muže, který psal Ruské vládě kritiku socialismu, a který si v osmašedesátém oficiálně stěžoval na vládních místech Ruska i Československa.
Ten muž se jmenuje Miroslav Zikmund.

Festival Evolution Gateway is a part of ongoing multicultural project Prague Gateways. It represents various views on certain aspects of life; it presents Czech and international personalities from the fields of culture, philosophy and science. It offers inspirational events and experiences. Ever since, Prague has been a gateway through which you could enter and discover new worlds, new horizons. Prague is a crossroads where people from different cultures, religions and spiritual ways meet. Festival Evolution Gateway connects what could appear at first too emotional or spiritual with the rational, and it allows us to see the world not only with our eyes but to feel it through our hearts.
