IM3 Ooredoo has developed a breaktrhough innovation service, Stream On, aimed to meet the core needs of the digital entertainment consumer in Indonesia and specifically its loyal customers. IM3 Ooredoo offers products and services which is easier to use and more affordable, and as simple as possible for everybody to enjoy. Iflix is an internet content based providing film, and TV shows in video-on-demand to develop the largest databases of movies, TV series, and other attractive programs. The IM3 Ooredoo customer has relished the Stream On for streaming and downloading music through Spotify application and/or watching movies through iflix without worries that it will consume their quota data. Stream On is a service delivering unlimited accsess to IM3 Ooredoo customers, without barriers and worries of spending much quota, enabling target market to enjoy entertainment as in music (Spotify) and now film (iflix). IM3 Ooredoo has built its partnership with iflix to provide thousands of movies, series, TV shows, and more interesting content in liberating method to the customers, both in technicalities and economic values. Media Feedback & Overview • The media attendees comprised of the target from media list
• During the event, the media were excited to ask several questions to KOL, they also do 1-on-1 interview and take a picture with KOL • The press conference was going smooth and media clearly understood about the products • Bloggers came because they were interested with IM3 Ooredoo products • The media were disappointed because no refreshment (food). Luckily, the IM3 Ooredoo team decided to entertain some of the early arrivals on Trattoria Café but only limited to less than 50 media due to limited capacity and timing. Those who came close to the event started did not enjoy any refreshment throughout the event.
• The media had difficulties to take a pictures because the LED color and lighting is to bright. The complain was reported and change of lightning was taken.
Learning Points • The event was started late. Some of the media needed to wait in uncomfartable waiting area. • No Refreshment for Media. This was the first for them to experience in Indosat event. • Need more time to avoid unlisted media from IM3 Ooredoo launch event. There were too many `bodrex’ media coming in and ushers were pre-occupied with them. • Need better coordination for door-stop • Media asked too many issues about Indosat Ooredoo and it was not related to the event. • MC was lack of information on IM3 Ooredoo’s side but very fluent describing iflix.
Recommendations • The needs to keep feeding the media post-event on IM3 Ooredoo – iflix as the product for video liberation. • The needs to maintain the door for media flow and alleviating the overcrowd of the entrance and exit door in one direction.
Magnifique’s Scope of Work and Deliverables. 1. To prepare, design, distribute invitations by email and courier, followed up by RSVP to selected media and bloggers. 2. Develop Target Media list, and ensure the implementation of media management from development of key messages, conveying the messages through creation of press releases, fact sheets, key messages, talking point, FAQ, MC Script, press release distribution, rundown event, speech, media monitoring, photos during the event, clipping reports, design for CD sticker, design cue-card, design map (press kit), ppt for CEO Branding, wording invitation for blogger and media, and evaluation reporting. 3. Ensuring the alignment of PR objectives with Indosat Ooredoo team for integrated, smooth and successful launch of the event. 4. Brief all the spokespersons and draft the talking points for KOL. 5. Prepare the registration desk for media registration. 6. Guide the media during the event. 7. Prepare the goodie bag and distribute the goodie bag. 8. Take a photo during the event 9. To conduct media monitoring including valuation and clipping. 10. Guide the media for one on one interview
