You really do not realize how fun primary school really is. It’s one of the best things you will experience. Yeah, there may be some rough times here and there, but think of all the fun you will have along the way. We all took our years in primary school for-granted, as we didn’t know how much of a contrast secondary school would be. We all heard older children telling us to “cherish every moment you have left in primary school, because these are the last days you will have without stress and bucket-loads of homework” and parents reminiscing and saying “my time in primary school was some of the best years of my life!” But let’s face it; we all took it with a pinch of salt saying “O here we go again”, “It can’t be that bad” and basically switching off whenever anyone started on the subject. Until we had actually started for ourselves we only then realised how right the people were. We had never experienced so many subjects, tests, teachers, classrooms and so-much homework! The days of being free and easy had ended and there was no going back….. THANKS TO ALL OUR TEACHERS!

OUR SCHOOL A construction of our school started in 1971. As a result the school was festivally opened on August 24, 1975. The school includes 22 classrooms, 12 technical classrooms, 2 gyms, a school canteen , a big garden with a glasshouse and a school playground together with an athletics track. An extensive reconstruction took place in the school year 2010/2011. Most of the pupils commute from other villages: Částkov, Kněžpole, Mistřice, Topolná, Nedachlebice, Zlámanec and Uherské Hradiště-Jarošov. About 400 pupils are taught by 30 teachers. The headmaster is Mgr. Tomislav Kolařík.

OUR ENGLISH PROJECTS School projects are always connected with English lessons. These projects estimate the students, motivate them and what is more, improve student’s English. During the whole school year 2012/2013 we have prepared some of the projects with 9 th grades and we’ve written about the following topics: English regions Favourite music band, singer Formal letter – job application School magazine – final project created by 9 th grade students
FINAL ENGLISH COMPETITION – RESULTS There were 36 students who wrote a small final „test“ in order to find out the real level of English. The comparison of the students was also another reason for testing. Each student was provided with a sheet of paper divided into three parts: grammar, reading and writing. BÍLOVICE
Bílovice is a village situated 8 kilometres north-east of Uherské Hradiště.The village lies in the middle of the triangle Uherské Hradiště-Napajedla-Zlín. The first written notice dates back from 1256. The name of Bílovice was changed eight times, from the original Belawitz through Wielobitz, Pilowitz, Bilowitz to contemporary name Bílovice. Bílovice has a population of 1700. Former little village called Včelary is a part of Bílovice. In the middle of the village, there is a castle which is surrounded by an ornamental park. Furthermore, we can find here a baroque church with the cemetery and a big primary school.

MISTŘICE Village Mistřice lies east of Uherské Hradiště. The first mention of the village dates from the year 1247. The village is situated in a natural park Prakšická vrchovina. In the village live about 1,160 residents. The local part Javorovec was formerly a separate village. Since 1960, is the settlement of the village Mistřice.

TOPOLNÁ Topolná is located in the region of, Zlín Region, 10 km north-east of the town of. In Topolná live about 1653 people. An area has 1,100 hectares. The village has a five-grade primary school, post office and health centre. Most of the population commutes to Napajedla, Otrokovice, and Zlín. The village has brass music Topolanka, which has recently celebrated the centennial anniversary of continuous operation, a folklore group Včelaran with dulcimer music.

ZLÁMANEC Zlámanec is a beautiful small town. About three hundred people live here. Zlámanec was named Zlámaný újezd. The first mention of the village dates from the 14th century. Some historical monuments are here: Wooden cross on the edge of the village, Barn on the edge of the village, Drying fruit, House No. 37, Chamber at house 5, wayside on dirt roads. Zlámanec is really famous for football. There is a little pub, football pitch, house of Culture and shop with food. The road ends here. Zlámanec has a lot of forests, meadows and fields. Nature here is really gorgeous. In Zlámanec live about fifty horses. Zlámanec have lot of tradition, example: costumed feast, masquerade, lantern parade, welcoming citizen, fairy forest and many others.

KNĚŽPOLE
The first written mention of the village dates from 1220. Village Kněžpole is located in Zlín Region. It lies on the plain surface of Dolnomoravský úval on the left bank of the River Morava. Between its water and village is forest (Kněžpolský les). Most areas in Kněžpole are agricultural. The village currently has 255 occupied houses and 1,100 people live there. Kněžpole is quite famous for football. Fire sport is very popular too. There is also a tennis club. In Kněžpole you can attend nursery School and Primary School.

NEDACHLEBICE
Nedachlebice is a small village situated in the Vizovice Highlands in the Zlín Region. The village was founded in 1209. Nowadays about 800 people live here. Nedachlebice doesn´t have its own school. Therefore, most children from Nedachlebice attend the Primary School in Bílovice which is only three kilometres far away. Nedachlebice offers a lot of services and activities for its inhabitants. People of all ages, who like singing and dancing, can join the folklore group Nedachlebjan and Nedachlebjánek. There is also a good football club called TJ Nedachlebice. Not a long ago a new church was built and opened for public. The village has got a senior house with healthcare service and a nursery school.
