ABSTRAK
Kertas karya ini berisikan tentang pembahasaan penggunaan pencampuran bahasa yang terdapat dalam majalah “Gogirl”. Kertas karya ini juga membahas faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi mengapa orang sering melakukan pencampuran bahasa dalam bahasa lisan maupun tulisan seperti lawan bicara, tempat dan waktu ketika pencampuran itu terjadi, media untuk berbicara, dan topik pembicaraan. Data yang diambil untuk melakukan kajian pada majalah Gogirl adalah majalah yang diterbitkan dari Agustus 2008 sampai Mei 2009. Ada lima majalah yang digunakan sebagai sumber data. Tujuan dari penulisan kertas karya ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi kepada pembaca tentang pencampuran bahasa. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penulisan paper ini adalah metode kepustakaan, yaitu dengan mengambil data dari bahan tertulis, seperti buku-buku dan tentunya majalah Gogirl sebagai bahan utama. Dalam penulisan ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa di Indonesia pencampuran bahasa sering muncul ketika orang-orang mencampurkan bahasa Indonesia dengan bahasa Inggris. Oleh sebab itu, jika pembaca tertarik dengan penggunaan bahasa asing khususnya bahasa inggris, jangan malu untuk mencampurnya sewaktu berkomunikasi dalam percakapan sehari-hari.
