Bioraffinage hele biet + andere grondstof waardoor: opvangen teeltopbrengstverschillen Compensatie hoog watergehalte biet Compensatie seizoensbeschikbaarheid
2.
Sterkte
Havens Terneuzen bieden goed geoutilleerde bedrijventerreinen.

Other co-products as a consequence of biofuel production
If 10% of the WW transportation fuels are produced from corn, wheat, rape, palm, sunflower, cane this will supply 100 million tonnes of proteins
Several bulkchemicals might be produced from different amino acids: 1,4 butanediol, 2,3 butanediol, 1,2 propanediol, Succinic acid, Acrylonitrile, Acrylate, Methacrylate, (hydroxy) Styrene, (hydroxy) Phenethylamine, Caprolactam, Butanediamine, urea, Aniline.
All the residues can be marketed to the compound feed industry.

Voordelen kleine schaal bieten:

What explains the recent (2008) increase in food prices?
Combination of factors
Strong demand growth Droughts in key producing regions Low stock levels Feedstock use in production of biofuels Rising crude oil prices Devaluation of US dollar
Causes of hunger
Poor education Little access to healthcare Poor infrastructure Little access to good fertilizers Government with little care for the population
