AKR expands network to distribute Subsidized Petroleum in Indonesia JAKARTA – PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (Bloomberg: AKRA IJ), one of Indonesia’s largest private sector distributor of petroleum products and basic chemicals and integrated supply chain solutions provider, has opened new locations during the year 2014 as part of the allocation received from BPH Migas. The Company currently operates 116 outlets of petrol stations for motorists (SPBKB) and petrol stations for fisheries (SPBN) as of February 2014 in the islands of Java, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Bali. In December 2013, Indonesian deregulatory body for oil and gas (BPH Migas) reappointed AKR to distribute subsidized petroleum during 2014 and awarded allocation of 640,000 Kilo liters to be distributed though 131 retail outlets
Out of these operating outlets, 55 outlets are petrol stations for motorists (SPBKB) and 61 outlets are outlets to supply fishing fleets (SPBN). Currently, 15 outlets are under construction. AKR through its retail network seeks to optimize the infrastructure tod distribute subsidized petroleum distribution products to motorists and to support Indonesian fishery.
