*‘West Papua’ here refers to the whole of western New Guinea – that is, the two Indonesian provinces of Papua and West Papua; previously known as Irian Jaya (Irian Barat). Part I covers the period 2000-2013, and Part III publications before 1963. Note: The bibliography is a work-in-progress draft only, and any corrections, suggestions or additions would be most welcome. Ethnobotany is understood here to include material on human knowledge and use of plants. I have excluded specifically technical works on modern agriculture and forestry unless they include relevant ‘ethnobotanical’ information.
