Ladies and Gentlemen, A very good day to all of you. I am deeply honoured to welcome all the distinguished guests and participants to Indonesia. I do hope this valuable event could not only maintain closer relation between the two countries, but also constructing a long term mutual
benefit
for
business
relations,
especially
in
the
manufacture investment.
Distinguished Guest, For your information, Indonesian Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2015 grew by 4.79 percents. The growth of manufacturing industry sector in 2015 (excluding oil and gas) reached 5.04 percents
and
its
also
exceeding
the
economic
growth.
Manufacturing Industry (both oil & gas and non oil & gas) contributed 20.84 percents to total GDP, while non oil & gas

manufacturing industry contributed as much as 87.21 percents to total manufacturing industry.
Ladies and Gentlemen, The never-ending process pursued by the government of Indonesia nowadays is its strong commitment to reform and improve business climate in Indonesia. This initiative has yielded a progressive and more resilient fundamental performance, especially since september 2015 the government has launch Indonesia’s Economic Policy Packages. In order to attract more investment, Indonesia Government provide some incentive for invesment on industrial sector, among other are tax holiday, tax allowance and other fiscal facilities.
Ladies and Gentlemen, In this occassion I would like to share with you that in our efforts to accelerate and strengthened development of manufacturing industry, the Government is now stressing in developing 10 prioritized
industries,
namely:
(1)
Food
Industry;
(2) 3
Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics & Medical Devices Industry; (3) Textile and Footwear & Multivarious Industry; (4) Transportation Industry; (5) Electronics and ICT Industry; (6) Energy Generation Industry; (7) Capital Goods, Components, Auxiliary Materials, and Services Industries; (8) Upstream Agro Industry; (9) Basic Metal Industry and Non-Metal Minerals and (10) Basic Chemical Industry based on Oil, Gas and Coal. Meanwhile, Indonesia Focus of Industrial Development Policy categorize as follow: 1. Development of Industrial Zones Outside Java Islands (14 Industrial Zones Outside Java Island) 2. Industrial Population Growth 3. Improvement of competitiveness and productivity
Ladies and Gentlemen, Nothing can be done single handed in the world. Even our two hands co-operate with each other, the two feet co-operate with each other, all the parts of the body co-operate with one another, the members of a family co-operate with one another. 4
Encouraged by this reality, I believe there are still huge opportunities for Belgium businessmen to either invest in Indonesia or conduct business partnership with Indonesian businesses. I invite you all to utilize in this valuable opportunity and I assure you that there is still a room for improvement to boost not only on trade, but also on investment, innovation and R&D manufacturing sectors that will eventually boost high valueadded productivity and competitiveness.

Hadirin sekalian yang saya muliakan, Pertama-tama, saya ingin menyampaikan terima kasih dan selamat datang kepada Yang Mulia Putri Astrid dan seluruh rombongan delegasi yang datang ke Indonesia. Saya sangat berharap bahwa kesempatan ini tidak hanya dapat menjaga hubungan baik kedua negara, tetapi juga dapat meningkatkan kerja
sama
jangka menengah
dan
panjang
yang saling
menguntungkan khususnya peningkatan hubungan Investasi Industri antara kedua negara.
Hadirin sekalian yang saya muliakan, Perlu kami sampaikan bahwa, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia tahun 2015 tumbuh 4,79 persen, sedangkan pertumbuhan industri non migas selama tahun 2015 sebesar 5,04% dan hal tersebut lebih tinggi apabila dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Industri
pengolahan
mempunyai
kontribusi
20,84
persen
terhadap nilai total pertumbuhan ekonomi (PDB), sedangkan industri pengolahan non migas berkontribusi sebesar 87,21 persen terhadap pendapatan industri pengolahan. 7
Hadirin sekalian yang saya muliakan, Pemerintah Indonesia selalu melakukan pembenahan internal dalam mewujudkan komitmennya untuk melakukan reformasi dan
meningkatkan
iklim
investasi
di
Indonesia.
Upaya
pembenahan untuk peningkatan ekonomi dilakukan secara cepat sejak September 2015 yang ditandai dengan dikeluarkannya paket kebijakan ekonomi. Dalam rangka manambah daya tarik investasi, Pemerintah Indonesia juga menyediakan fasilitasi untuk penguatan struktur dan peningkatan daya saing industri yang terdiri dari insentif fiskal
(Pembebasan/pengurangan
PPh/
tax
holiday/
tax
allowance), insentif non fiskal (kemudahan usaha di kawasan ekonomi khusus, perijinan keimigrasian bagi tenaga kerja asing) dan moneter (keringanan pinjaman bank).
Hadirin sekalian yang saya muliakan, Terkait dengan kebijakan dan strategi pembangunan industri, pemerintah telah menetapkan Pembangunan 10 (sepuluh) Kelompok Industri Prioritas, yaitu: (1) Industri Pangan; (2) Industri Farmasi, Kosmetik dan Alat Kesehatan; (3) Industri Tekstil, Kulit, 8
Alas Kaki dan Aneka; (4) Industri Alat Transportasi; (5) Industri Elektronika dan Telematika/ICT; (6) Industri Pembangkit Energi; (7) Industri Barang Modal, Komponen, dan Bahan Penolong; (8) Industri Hulu Agro; (9) Industri Logam Dasar dan Bahan Galian Bukan Logam; dan (10) Industri Kimia Dasar Berbasis Migas dan Batubara. Sedangkan arah kebijakan pembangunan industri nasional antara lain: 1.
