The wheelchair is a quality product. The policy of 2GOability is to continually improve the quality and reliability of our products. We reserve the right, therefore without prior notification, to alter this guide. It is important that your guide for the use of the wheelchair is read carefully. The manual contains important information about the safe use and maintenance of your wheelchair. We recommend that you keep this guide, it is also your proof of warranty and you will find it useful for referring to it at a later date. The safety instructions in this guide are general guidelines that must be seen as broad guidelines. It is possible that you develop your own ways for many common actions. However, we advise you to consult a professional for assistance in developing safe and effective techniques with regards to your daily activities and your physical capabilities. Your wheelchair is equipped with a unique identification number. You can find this number on the cross frame of your wheelchair. Below is an example of the frame label on which you can find the identification number. Furthermore you will find the explanation of the various data stored on the frame label listed below. 2

2. Serial number
The unique identification number. You must have this number when making technical requests or if warranty parts are required.
3. Maximum user weight
The largest occupant weight allowed for protection of both the wheelchair and the user.
4. Type number
This number indicates which model of wheelchair you have, again this is always required when making technical calls.
5. Model name
The model name of your wheelchair.
6. Usage application
Where you can use your wheelchair.
7. Warranty
This is the warranty period. Chapter 9 describes your warranty terms and conditions in more detail.

Your wheelchair is equipped with a number of elements and parts. You should know these before you continue reading this manual. Designs and specifications may change without prior notice. 2.2 General explanation of the function and possibilities of your wheelchair Your wheelchair is a foldable one, which is designed to be easy to transport in a car. Your wheelchair is a medical equipment product and is not a standard consumer product. You must follow this manual completely to ensure good, optimal and safe use of your wheelchair.

SAFETY REGULATIONS
2GOability specifically disclaims responsibility for any body injury or property damage which may occur during any use which does not comply with laws or ordinances. If used correctly, the 2GOability wheelchair is an utmost safe and stable product, if the instructions for use as described in this manual are followed. However, it is possible when the 2GOability wheelchair is not used correctly, dangerous situations may occur. 3.1 General safety regulations Protect your 2GOability wheelchair by checking it regularly. When a part of your wheelchair is not functioning properly, a dangerous situation could occur.
Warning:
You must keep your wheelchair in a good state to be guaranteed of safe use.
3.2 Warnings for safe use
Warnings:
Avoid using your wheelchair on roads. Use pavements if possible; Do not use your wheelchair in sand, rough area, wet and slippery surfaces or surfaces with little grip; This model of wheelchair is not suitable for use as a seat in a motor vehicle. The wheelchair could fail in a vehicle impact, leading to injury of the wheelchair occupant or others; Do not lean over the back of the wheelchair. This can result in rolling over the wheelchair; Do not drive into curbs; Before leaning or reaching forward, push bottom to back of the chair and face castors forwards; Never connect anything to the wheels, this may cause damage to the chair and also effect the balance of the chair and may injure the user; For suitable protection from potential obstruction the footrests should be a minimum of 7 cm clear of the ground;

Do not stand on the footrest this will cause the chair to tip and injure the user (figure 1); Place the wheelchair on a stable, flat surface and engage the brakes before transferring to or from the wheelchair; Engage the brakes when the user of the wheelchair is in or on a lift and when the user wants to get off; The maximum weight capacity has been indicated on your wheelchair frame label; Unauthorized modification and or use of parts not supplied by 2GOability will invalidate the warranty of this chair and may lead to injury to the user and or damage to the chair. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
You will have to learn the characteristics of your wheelchair. It is most important to learn the safest methods to develop the daily activities in accordance to your life style. Consult your medical advisor or therapist for assistance by developing safe and effective techniques for your daily activities and your physical possibilities. 4.1 Safety tips Daily operations such as getting off the wheelchair, reaching and bending in the wheelchair will cause a change of weight distribution and in the center of gravity of you and your wheelchair. You will need to perform these movements and techniques as described below. Transferring Transferring in a wheelchair is a difficult manoeuvre. Consult your physical therapist for assistance in developing your individual technique. The possibilities you have for making a transfer depend on your physical characteristics. We advise you to discuss this first with your physical therapist. However if you have sufficient body strength and you want to transfer too and from the wheelchair you can best do this in the following manner:

To get out of the wheelchair: First of all you must make sure that your wheelchair stands as closely as possible to the place of where you wish to transfer to. Put the castors forward and engage the brakes. Swing away the footplates and place your feet on the ground. You are now in position to carry out the operation. Shift your weight to the front of the chair, you can use the armrests as a support and move yourself to the place where you wish to transfer to. If necessary you can use a transfer board. To get in: To get in your wheelchair you need to do the same things as when you want to get out of the wheelchair, only in reversed order. Reaching: We strongly recommend that you seek the help of an attendant to pick something up for you. 4.2 Negotiating pavements and unequal surfaces Going up the pavement: The attendant can help you in two different ways, however we advise you to do it the first way. 1.
In the first method for going up a pavement you and the attendant reach to pavement facing forward. The attendant must pull the push handles towards him and place his foot on the stepper on the rear side of the wheelchair, see figure 2. Because of this there is a leverage effect that tips the wheelchair.

In the second method the attendant is already standing on the pavement and makes sure that the wheelchair is positioned with the rear wheels as close to the pavement as possible. The user of the wheelchair needs to lean backwards. This way the wheelchair will tip backwards and the attendant can pull the chair on the pavement. The attendant needs to make sure that the front wheels are on the pavement before he lets the wheelchair down.

Warning: Do not drive into curbs! Going down the pavement: The attendant should move the wheelchair forward to the curb. Then the user should lean back so the attendant can tilt the wheelchair to find a balance point. When the wheelchair is balanced the attendant can move the wheelchair slowly off the curb. When the wheelchair is off the pavement, the attendant can let the front wheels back onto the ground. 4.3 Going up and down ramps Inspect the slope always for risks, such as holes or slippery and uneven surfaces before you drive off.
Warning: Do not carry any weight on the back of the wheelchair whilst ascending. This changes the balance and increases the chances of tipping backwards. You may recall earlier in the manual that you were instructed to ensure the footrests are a minimum 7 cm from the ground. One reason for this is that when you are descending a slope you need a minimum of this amount of clearance in order to ensure the footplates do not catch the end of the slope. 4.4 Going up and down stairs Stairs are one of the largest obstacles for wheelchair users. However, with a little help from others it is possible to climb up and down the stairs. Assessment of the weight that has to be moved should be undertaken by the attendants prior to this manoeuvre. Going upstairs You need to go upstairs backwards with two attendants, one attendant at the front and one attendant at the back. The attendant at the back grabs the push handles and let the wheelchair tip backwards until it is in balance. When the wheels are in balance the attendant at the front needs to grab the side frames. You are now in position to climb the stairs. The attendant on the front pushes the side frames up until they are above the first step and the attendant at the back makes the first step on the stairs. Repeat this technique until the last step of the stair. You can let the front castors down when the attendant at the front has taken the last step.

Going downstairs To go downstairs, the wheelchair should be facing forwards. The rear attendant should tip the wheelchair until it balances. The front attendant should support the wheelchair by holding the side frames. The wheelchair should then be slowly guided down each step.
Warning: Never lift a wheelchair by the push handles, armrests or footrests. Always hold a part of the main frame. MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO YOUR WHEELCHAIR CAN CAUSE BIG RISKS FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE FUNCTION OF YOUR WHEELCHAIR. ADJUSTMENTS MADE BY YOURSELF ARE STRONGLY ADVISED AGAINST AND CARRIED OUT AT YOUR OWN RISK. 5 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MOUNTING OPTIONS In this chapter we will explore all the possibilities that you have with your wheelchair. All setting and user instructions, such as the removal of the footrest, will be discussed. Your wheelchair is a 2GOability Glide 5.1 Tools and technical information For the maintenance of your wheelchair you will, in some cases, need tools. For your wheelchair you will need the following tools: Phillips screwdriver Allen keys Cross-ring or keys Spanners Socket wrench

5.2 Unfolding and folding the wheelchair Unfolding the wheelchair Make sure you stand next to the wheelchair; Grab both seat tubes and move them apart; Push both seat tubes downwards so that the wheelchair will unfold, see picture 1; Go to the front of the wheelchair and push again on the seat tubes to ensure that they are directly on the frame. This is confirmed when the seat upholstery is flat; Place the footrests back, fold down the footplate, see chapter 5.3; You can now use the wheelchair. Folding the wheelchair Fold away the footplates and remove the footrests, see chapter 5.3; Make sure you stand next to the wheelchair; Grab both sides of the seating and pull them upwards, see picture 2.

5.3 Use of the footplate and footrest Folding the footplate away Go to the front of the wheelchair and get a hold of the front of the foot plate; Fold the footplate in the direction of the footrest, see picture 4. Make sure the heel strap does not get stuck between the footplate and footrest.

Removing the footrest from the wheelchair Go to the front of the wheelchair; Pull the black steel control lever to the inside of the wheelchair, see picture 5. You can now swing the footrest inwards or outwards; Swing the footrests 90˚ to the outside of your wheelchair and pull the complete footrest straight up from the tube. Placing the footrest back on your wheelchair Go to the front of the wheelchair; Place the footrest with an angle of 90° back on the chair, see picture 4; Swing the footrest to the front until you hear a click. This click confirmed that the footrest is in position; Check if everything is in position.

5.4 Using the brakes You can put a parking brake on. Grab the black lever of the brake, picture 5; Push the lever downwards, picture 6; When you hear a click, it confirms that the brake has been put on.

5.5 Using the foldable backrest
Go to the back of the wheelchair; Push at the same time both levers on the back of the wheelchair, picture 7, to fold the backrest down, see picture 8;

5.7 Using the seat belt on your wheelchair Your wheelchair is equipped with a seat belt which you can use in the following way: When in the wheelchair, you can fasten the belt by clicking the two loose ends together, see picture 11; If the belt is to loose or to tight you can make it more secure or looser, see picture 12; To release the seat belt, you press on the lock plates to unlock.

TRANSPORT AND TRANSIT IN CAR
Your 2GOability wheelchair is designed to be easily transported by car. Your wheelchair is foldable so the total width is limited to an average measure of 20 cm. Further your wheelchair is equipped with swing away and detachable footrests and a foldable backrest. 6.1 De-assembly 1. 2.
Take away the footrests on the front side of your wheelchair (see chapter 5 ‘Instructions for use and mounting options’). Fold the wheelchair: Stand next to the wheelchair. Get a hold of the seat grips at the side and pull it straight up.
6.2 Assembly 1.

Unfold the wheelchair: Go stand next to the wheelchair, tilt the wheelchair a bit towards you and push the seat tube down. The wheelchair will un-fold. Go stand before the wheelchair and push again on the two seat tubes to ensure that they are directly on the frame. This is confirmed by flat seat upholstery; Place the footrests back on the wheelchair.

MAINTENANCE
There are a lot of things you can do yourself to keep your wheelchair in optimum condition. If you regularly check the wheelchair and perform (small) maintenance, this will extend the lifetime and increase the ease of use. 7.1 Tyres Examine tyres periodically for wear and replace them as needed. PU tyres:
The tyres have the advantage that they do not need to be pumped up and can not be punctured. This PU tyre can wear out. Check periodically to see if the tread is still deep enough.
7.2 Brakes Inspect both brakes for sharp rims. If there are sharp rims on the brakes we advise you to replace them. Ensure that all the parts of the brake are in the right position and fastened secure;
Make sure that the mechanism is functioning smoothly. If it is not functioning smoothly put some oil at turning points with one or two drips of WD40 oil or Teflon. Remove surplus oil and dirt; Make sure the brakes do not come into contact with the wheels as you are moving.
7.3 Cross brace The cross-frame of the wheelchair has to be in a good condition. The cross brace is the base of your wheelchair. Make sure the wheelchair can easily be fold and unfold; Make sure the wheelchair travels in a straight line while moving; Make sure the cross frame is not bent and shows no wear signs. 7.4 Rear wheel A good adjustment of the rear wheels improves the stability of the wheelchair. Make sure that the wheels can move freely without touching anything; Make sure there is no margin on the rear wheels.

7.5 Front castor and front castor fork The front fork must move and turn freely to ensure a smooth ride. Make sure the nut of the front fork is nor to loose or to tight. When the nut is to loose, the wheels will rotate but the ride will be uncomfortable. If the nut is to tight, the chair will be difficult to steer because of the bearings getting pushed so the balls can not move freely. When the nut is correct in place the front wheel will stop slowly; Make sure the front castor shows no wear signs. 7.6 Upholstery It is important to check the upholstery of your wheelchair regularly. Torn or worn upholstery can no longer support human weight and this can create dangerous situations. Check the textile coating for holes, cracks and worn spots; Check the upholstery-mounting grommets to make sure that they are all correctly aligned and secure. 7.7 Cleaning It is important to clean your wheelchair regularly. Clean the upholstery, chassis and plastic components on the wheelchair regularly with a mild soap and water. Never use abrasive cleaners, they can damage the varnish. Also never use steam or high pressure cleaners; Wax the varnish of the chassis regularly. Never use solvents, abrasive waxes, caustic chemicals or spray silicone; Dry the wheelchair after cleaning. Also dry you wheelchair after you have been, for example, in a rainstorm.
Tip
You can also use a car shampoo. This cleans, protects and gives a beautiful gloss to your wheelchair.

PROBLEM ANALYSIS AND SOLUTIONS
Your 2GOability wheelchair is inspected and adjusted so that you can use it immediately. Continual use necessitates maintenance, especially if the factory set adjustments have been altered. The following troubleshooting guide, lists several common problems that may occur and offers corrective actions for each.

WARRANTY
9.1 Warranty application Together with your wheelchair you get the factory warranty. This warranty is only granted to you as the consumer. It is not intended to be used commercially (like hiring or institutional use). The warranty is limited to defects to materials and possible hidden shortages. 2GOability offers a warranty period of 1 year. Also you can find the warranty periods label on the frame of your wheelchair. See also chapter 1. 9.2 Warranty definition Your manual is also the warranty form, fill in the relevant details in and store it carefully. Warranty conditions The warranty period commences upon the date of purchase. If within the warranty period, your wheelchair will be defect, it will be repaired or replaced. However you do need to provide to 2GOability a complete filled in warranty registration form, a copy of the bill with the date of purchase and with the original packaging.

This warranty does not include any labour charges incurred by replacements. With normal circumstances no responsibility is accepted when the wheelchair needs replacement or repairs as a direct result from: Not maintaining the wheelchair and parts according to the recommendations of the manufacturer, or not using the specific original parts; Damaging the wheelchair or parts by inattentive use, accident or wrong use; Adjusting the wheelchair or parts, different from the specifications of the manufacturer, or reparations done before the service agent is warned. If the product is not equipped with an original factory frame number and identification label as described in the manual, see chapter 1.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Your wheelchair needs periodical maintenance. A badly maintained wheelchair will give more technical problems, turn less flexible and fall out the warranty terms. Preventive maintenance is most important and many of these things you can easily do yourself or a friend or family member can help you. We highlight below the maintenance you can do yourself. Uw rolstoel is voorzien van verschillende componenten en onderdelen. Leer deze kennen voordat u verder gaat met het bestuderen van deze handleiding. Ontwerpen en specificaties kunnen veranderen zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving. 2.2 Algemene uitleg van de functie en mogelijkheden van uw rolstoel Uw rolstoel is opvouwbaar en zo ontworpen dat deze eenvoudig te vervoeren is. Uw rolstoel is een medisch product en geen standaard gebruikers product. Lees deze handleiding volledig door voor een optimaal gebruik van uw rolstoel.

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
2GOability stelt zich niet verantwoordelijk voor verwondingen aan de gebruiker of schade aan eigendommen, indien bij het gebruik van de rolstoel de aanbevelingen en waarschuwingen niet zijn opgevolgd. De 2GOability Glide is, indien de omgangsregels zoals deze beschreven staan in deze handleiding worden opgevolgd, een uiterst veilig en stabiel product. Het is echter wel mogelijk dat, wanneer de 2GOability rolstoel niet correct wordt gebruikt, er gevaarlijke situaties kunnen ontstaan. 3.1 Algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften Bescherm uw 2GOability rolstoel door deze regelmatig te laten controleren. Wanneer er een deel van uw rolstoel niet goed functioneert, is het mogelijk dat er een gevaarlijke situatie ontstaat.
Waarschuwing: U dient uw rolstoel in goede staat te houden om de veiligheid te kunnen waarborgen. 3.2 Waarschuwingen voor veilig gebruik
Waarschuwingen:
Vermijd rijden op de weg, rijdt alleen op het trottoir; Gebruik uw rolstoel niet op zand, ongelijk terrein, nat of gladde ondervlakken of ondervlakken met weinig grip; Uw rolstoel is niet te gebruiken als stoel in een motorvoertuig. Gebruik altijd de toegestane voertuigstoel en gebruik de vereiste motorvoertuig beperkingen als u zich in een motorvoertuig bevindt. Vervoer van uw rolstoel in een motorvoertuig is op eigen risico; Leun nooit over de rug van de rolstoel. Dit kan resulteren in kantelen van de rolstoel; Rij niet tegen stoepranden op; Voordat u naar voren leunt, dient u uzelf te verplaatsen tegen de rugleuning en zet de voorwielen naar voren gericht; Verbind nooit iets aan de wielen, dit kan schade aan de rolstoel veroorzaken, het balans van de rolstoel negatief beïnvloeden en de gebruiker verwonden; Om belemmeringen te voorkomen dient het laagste punt van de voetsteunen minimaal 7 cm van de grond vrij te zijn;

Ga nooit op de voetsteunen staan. Hierdoor zal de rolstoel kantelen en de gebruiker verwonden (figuur 1); Plaats de rolstoel op een stabiele, vlakke ondergrond en activeer de remmen voordat u een transfer maakt; Activeer de remmen wanneer u zich in een lift bevindt; Het maximale gebruikersgewicht staat weergegeven op het framelabel; Door niet-gemachtigde wijzigingen of het gebruik van vervangingsonderdelen die niet van 2GOability zijn, zal de garantie ongedaan maken en kan schade aan de rolstoel of verwondingen aan de gebruiker veroorzaken. GEBRUIKSINSTRUCTIES
U dient de kenmerken van uw rolstoel te leren kennen en uzelf de veiligste methodes aan te leren voor uw dagelijkse activiteiten. Raadpleeg een deskundige voor assistentie bij het ontwikkelen van de veiligste en effectiefste methodes met betrekking tot uw fysieke mogelijkheden. 4.1 Veiligheidtips Dagelijkse handelingen als in- en uitstappen van de rolstoel, het reiken en buiten in een rolstoel zullen de gewichtsverdeling en het middelpunt van de zwaartekracht van u en uw rolstoel veranderen. Deze handelingen dient u dan ook te verrichten zoals hieronder beschreven is. In- en uitstappen Het in- en uitstappen van een rolstoel is een moeilijke handeling. De mogelijkheden die u heeft zijn afhankelijk van uw fysieke gesteldheid. Wij willen u daarom adviseren om samen met uw deskundige uw individuele techniek te ontwikkelen. Indien u echter over voldoende lichaamskracht beschikt en u zonder hulp in- of uit de rolstoel wilt stappen kunt u dit het beste op de volgende manier doen: Uitstappen uit de rolstoel: Allereerst dient u ervoor te zorgen dat uw rolstoel zo dicht mogelijk bij de plaats staat van waar u wilt gaan zitten. Zet vervolgens de zwenkwielen naar voren en maak de remmen vast. Klap de voetplaten op en klap de voet steunen weg en plaats uw voeten

op de grond. U bent nu in de positie om de handeling uit te voeren. Schuif richting de voorzijde van uw stoel, gebruik de armsteunen als steun en verschuif uzelf naar de plaats waar u wilt gaan zitten. Indien nodig kunt u gebruik maken van een transferplank. Instappen: Om in uw rolstoel te stappen dient u dezelfde handeling te verrichten als bij het uit stappen, alleen in omgekeerde volgorde. Reiken/ buigen: Wij raden u aan om hulp te vragen aan een begeleider wanneer u iets moet oprapen. 4.2 Het nemen van stoepen en ongelijk oppervlaktes Opgaan van de stoep: Indien u een stoep opgaat, dient u dit samen met een begeleider te doen. Uw begeleider kan u op twee manieren helpen, wij raden de eerste manier aan. 1.
De begeleider dient de rolstoel voorwaarts voor de stoep te plaatsen. Vervolgens dient de begeleider de duwhandvatten naar zich toe te trekken en tegelijkertijd de voet te plaatsen op de stepper. De stepper vindt u aan de achterzijde van de rolstoel. Wanneer de begeleider beide handelingen tegelijk uitvoert ontstaat het hefboomeffect waardoor de rolstoel gekanteld wordt, figuur 2.

De begeleider staat al op de stoep en zorgy ervoor dat de rolstoel met de achterwielen tegen de stoep aanstaat. Vervolgens dient de gebruiker achterover te leunen, waardoor de rolstoel kantelt en de begeleider de rolstoel achterwaarts de stoel op kan trekken. De begeleider dient ervoor te zorgen dat de zwenkwielen zich boven de stoep bevinden voordat deze de rolstoel kan laten zakken.

Rij niet tegen stoepranden op!

Afgaan van de stoep: De begeleider dient de rolstoel voorwaarts naar de stoeprand toe te rijden. Vervolgens dient de gebruiker achterover te leunen waardoor de begeleider de rolstoel kan kantelen tot deze in balans is. Wanneer de rolstoel in balans is kan de begeleider de rolstoel langzaam de stoep laten afrijden. Wanneer de rolstoel van de stoep af is kan de begeleider de rolstoel laten zakken tot de zwenkwielen weer op de grond staan. 4.3 Het op- en afgaan van hellingen Controleer een helling altijd eerst op gaten of gladheid en ongelijke oppervlakken voordat u de helling op of af rijdt.
Waarschuwing: Plaats nooit extra gewicht aan de rugleuning van de rolstoel wanneer u de helling opgaat, hierdoor zal de rolstoel achterover kantelen. Eerder in deze handleiding is vermeld dat u er ten alle tijden voor dient te zorgen dat de voetsteunen minimaal 7 cm van de grond af zijn. Dit omdat u dan niet vast kunt komen te zitten aan het einde van de helling met de voetsteunen in de hoek van de helling. 4.4 Op- en afgaan van trappen Trappen vormen voor rolstoelgebruikers een van de grootste obstakels. Echter met de hulp van twee begeleiders is het mogelijk om trappen op en af te gaan. U en uw begeleiders dienen zich er echter wel van bewust te zijn dat er een behoorlijk gewicht verplaatst moet worden. De trap opgaan U dient achterwaarts de trap op te gaan. Één begeleider dient zich aan de voorzijde en één begeleider dient zich aan de achterzijde van uw rolstoel te bevinden. De begeleider die zich aan de achterzijde bevindt pakt de duwhandvatten van de rolstoel vast. Vervolgens dient de begeleider de rolstoel te kantelen tot deze in balans is en het zwaartepunt zich op het laagste punt bevindt. Wanneer de rolstoel gekanteld is en de stoel alleen op de achterwielen rust, dient de begeleider aan de voorzijde de zijframes van de rolstoel vast te pakken. U bent nu in de positie om de trap op te gaan. De begeleider aan de voorzijde duwt nu de zijframes omhoog tot deze zich boven de eerste trede bevinden en de begeleider aan de achterzijde zet de eerste stap op de trap. Herhaal deze techniek tot de laatste trede van de trap, figuur 16. Ga met één trede tegelijk rustig en veilig de trap op. Laat de zwenkwielen pas weer zakken nadat de begeleider aan de voorzijde de trap volledig heeft genomen.

De trap afgaan Om de trap af te gaan, dient de rolstoel naar voren gericht staan. De begeleider aan de achterkant dient de rolstoel te kantelen tot deze in balans is. De begeleider aan de voorkant dient de rolstoel te ondersteunen door deze aan de zijframes vast te houden. De rolstoel dient voorzichtig tree voor tree begeleid te worden.
Waarschuwing: Til de rolstoel nooit aan de afneembare onderdelen zoals duwhandvatten, armleuningen of voetsteunen. Pak altijd een deel van het hoofdframe. HET VERANDEREN VAN INSTELLINGEN AAN UW ROLSTOEL KAN GROTE GEVOLGEN HEBBEN VOOR HET FUNCTIONEREN VAN DE ROLSTOEL EN UW VIELIGHEID. INSTELLINGEN DIE AFWIJKEN VAN DE FABRIEKSINSTELLINGEN ZIJN VOOR EIGEN RISICO. 5
INSTELLINGEN EN MONTAGE VOORSCHRIFTEN
In dit hoofdstuk gaan we in op alle mogelijkheden die u op uw rolstoel heeft. Alle instelmogelijkheden zullen worden besproken, maar ook alle gebruiksinstructies zoals het afnemen van de voetsteunen. Uw rolstoel betreft een 2GOability Glide 5.1 Gereedschap en technische informatie. Voor het instellen en het onderhouden van uw rolstoel heeft u in sommige gevallen gereedschap nodig. 5.2 In- en uitvouwen van de rolstoel Uitvouwen van de rolstoel Ga aan de zijkant van de rolstoel staan; Pak beide zitbuizen vast en beweeg deze uit elkaar; Duw de zitbuizen naar beneden zodat de rolstoel zich ontvouwt, foto 1; Ga vervolgens voor de rolstoel staan en duw de zitbuizen van het kruisframe op hun plaats. Controleer of de zitbuizen direct op het zijframe zitten en of de zitbekleding vlak is; Plaats de voetsteunen terug en klap de voetplaten uit; U kunt nu gebruik maken van de rolstoel. In vouwen van de rolstoel Klap de voetplaten op en verwijder de voetsteunen; Ga aan de zijkant van de rolstoel staan; Plaats één hand aan de voorzijde in het midden van de zitbekleding en één hand aan de achterzijde in het midden van de zitbekleding. Trek de zitbekleding recht omhoog, foto 2.

5.3 Gebruik van de voetplaat en voetsteun Voetplaat opklappen Ga voor uw rolstoel staan en pak de voetplaat aan de voorkant vast; Klap de voetplaat op richting de voetsteun, foto 3.

Voetsteun afnemen van de rolstoel Ga voor uw rolstoel staan; Trek de bedieningshendel omhoog, foto 4. U kunt nu de voetsteun naar binnen en buiten wegzwenken; Zwenk de voetsteun 90˚ naar buiten en trek de voetsteun recht omhoog uit de bevestigingsbuis. Voetsteun terugplaatsen op de rolstoel Ga voor de rolstoel staan; Plaats de voetsteun met een hoek van 90° terug op de rolstoel, foto 4; Zwenk de voetsteun naar voren totdat u een klik hoort. Deze klik bevestigd dat de voetsteun in positie is; Controleer of alles in positie is.

5.7 Gebruik van de zitgordel Uw rolstoel is uitgerust met een zitgordel welke u op de volgende manier kunt gebruiken: Wanneer u in de rolstoel zit kunt u de gordel vastmaken door beide losse uiteinden in elkaar vast te klikken, foto 11; Indien de gordel te los of te strak zit dan kunt u deze losser dan wel vaster maken. Om de gordel vaster te maken dient u aan de korte losse band te trekken en indien de gordel losser moet dan dient u aan de lange band te trekken aan de linkerkant, foto 12; Om de zitgordel los te maken dient u de pinnen van de zitgordel in te drukken.

TRANSPORT EN VERVOER IN DE AUTO
Uw 2GOability rolstoel is zo ontworpen dat deze eenvoudig te vervoeren is in een auto. Uw rolstoel is vouwbaar gemaakt. Tevens is uw rolstoel voorzien van afneembare voetsteunen en een neerklapbare rugleuning. 6.1 Demontage 1. 2.
Verwijder de voetsteunen van de rolstoel (zie hoofdstuk 5.3); Vouw de rolstoel in (zie hoofdstuk 5.2).

Vouw de rolstoel uit: (zie hoofdstuk 5.2) Plaats de voetsteunen terug op de rolstoel.

ONDERHOUD
Zelf kunt u veel klein onderhoud aan uw rolstoel verrichten om uw rolstoel in optimale staat te houden. Indien u regelmatig zelf de rolstoel controleert en (klein) onderhoud uitvoert, verlengd dit de levensduur van uw rolstoel en verhoogt het het gebruikersgemak. 7.1 Banden Controleer de banden van de rolstoel regelmatig op slijtage en vervang deze indien nodig. PU banden:
Deze banden hoeven niet opgepompt te worden en kunnen niet lek raken. Dit type band kan echter wel slijtage vertonen. Controleer regelmatig of het loopvlak nog voldoende is.
7.2 Remmen Controleer beide remmen op scherpe randen. Wanneer er scherpe randen aanwezig zijn dient u de rem te laten vervangen. Verzeker uzelf ervan dat alle onderdelen van uw remmen goed en stevig vast zitten;
Controleer of het remmechanisme soepel functioneert. Indien dit niet is breng dan één of twee druppels W30 olie of Teflon aan op de draaipunten van de rem; Controleer of de remmen niet in contact komen met de banden van de rolstoel als u rijdt.
7.3 Kruisframe Het kruisframe van de rolstoel dient in een goede staat te zijn. Het kruisframe is immers de basis van uw rolstoel. Controleer of de rolstoel zich makkelijk in- en uitvouwt; Controleer of de rolstoel zich in een rechte lijn voortbeweegt; Controleer of het kruisframe niet verbogen is of slijtage vertoont. 7.4 Achterwiel Een goede afstelling van het achterwiel verhoogt de stabiliteit van de rolstoel. Tevens zorgt het ervoor dat u minder inspanning hoeft te leveren wanneer u de rolstoel wilt verplaatsen. Controleer of het wiel niet aanloopt; Controleer of er speling op het achterwiel staat. Als dit het geval is, dan zit waarschijnlijk de behuizingen van het achterwiel los.

7.5 Zwenkwiel en voorvork Het zwenkwiel en de voorvork moeten vrij en soepel bewegen om goed te kunnen sturen en rijden mogelijk te maken. Controleer of de moer goed zit, niet te vast maar ook niet te los. Wanneer de moer te los zit, zullen de zwenkwielen gaan trillen of zelfs los komen. Wanneer de moer te strak zit, is de rolstoel moeilijk te besturen. De lagers worden dan namelijk dichtgedrukt met als gevolg dat de kogels niet meer vrij kunnen bewegen. Of de moer te los of te vast zit kunt u het beste controleren door aan het zwenkwiel te draaien. Wanneer de moer goed zit moet het wiel langzaam tot stilstand komen; Controleer het zwenkwiel voorvorkbehuizing op slijtage. 7.6 Bekleding Het is belangrijk om de bekleding van uw rolstoel regelmatig te controleren. Gescheurde of versleten bekleding kan geen menselijk gewicht meer dragen en dit kan zorgen voor gevaarlijke situaties. Controleer de textielbekleding op gaatjes, scheuren en versleten plekken; Controleer de parker gaten in de bekleding en verzeker uzelf ervan dat deze allemaal goed vastzitten en geen bramen vertonen. 7.7 Reiniging Reiniging van uw rolstoel is belangrijk en dient regelmatig te worden gedaan. Maak regelmatig de stoffering, het chassis en de kunststof componenten op de rolstoel schoon met milde zeep en water. Gebruik nooit agressieve schuurmiddelen, deze kunnen de lak beschadigen. Gebruik ook nooit stoom of een hoge druk reiniger; Smeer de lak van het chassis regelmatig in met was. Gebruik echter geen oplossende of schurende was, schadelijke chemicaliën of siliconenspray; Maak de rolstoel goed droog na het reinigen. Maak tevens uw rolstoel droog wanneer deze nat is geworden van bijvoorbeeld een regenbui.
Tip U kunt ook gebruik maken van een autoshampoo. Deze reinigt, beschermd en geeft een mooie glans aan uw rolstoel.

8
PROBLEEM ANALYSE EN OPLOSSINGEN
Uw 2GOability is geïnspecteerd en aangepast zodat u deze onmiddellijk in gebruik kan nemen. U dient echter wel uw rolstoel te onderhouden, speciaal als de instellingen van de fabriek zijn gewijzigd. Hieronder in de tabel vindt u veel voorkomende problemen met de mogelijke oorzaken en de juiste oplossing daarbij.
Tip
Wij raden u aan om alleen 2GOability vervangingsonderdelen te gebruiken. Indien u geen originele onderdelen gebruikt, vervalt de garantie op uw rolstoel.

GARANTIE
9.1 Garantie toepassing Op uw rolstoel heeft u fabrieksgarantie. De fabrieksgarantie wordt alleen toegekend aan u als consument. Het is niet toegestaan de garantie commercieel te gebruiken (zoals voor verhuur of institutioneel gebruik). De garantie is beperkt tot defecte materialen en eventuele verborgen gebreken. 2GOability garandeert u een garantietermijn van 1 jaar. 9.2 Garantiebepalingen Uw handleiding is tevens uw garantieformulier, vul de relevante gegevens in en bewaar deze dan zorgvuldig. Garantie voorwaarden De garantieperiode start op de datum van de aankoop van uw rolstoel. Als in de garantietermijn uw rolstoel kapot gaat, zal deze worden gerepareerd of vervangen. U dient echter wel met 2GOability een garantie registratie kaart of een kopie van de rekening met de datum van aankoop te kunnen overleggen.

Onder normale omstandigheden worden er geen verantwoordelijkheden geaccepteerd indien de rolstoel vervangen moet worden of reparaties nodig heeft als gevolg van: Het niet onderhouden van de rolstoel en de onderdelen in overeenstemming met de aanbevelingen van de fabrikant, of het niet gebruiken van gespecificeerde originele onderdelen; Het beschadigen van de rolstoel of de onderdelen door onachtzaamheid, ongeval of verkeerd gebruik; Het aanpassen van de rolstoel of de onderdelen, afwijkend van de fabrieksspecificaties, of reparaties die gedaan zijn voordat de service agent gewaarschuwd is; Indien het product niet voorzien is van een origineel fabrieks framelabel, zie hoofdstuk 1.

Algemene onderhoudsinstructies
Uw rolstoel heeft periodiek onderhoud nodig. Een slecht onderhouden rolstoel zal meer technische problemen geven, zal minder soepel lopen en zal in het ergste geval buiten de garantie gaan vallen. Preventief onderhoud is het belangrijkste en veel van deze zaken kunt u zelf of iemand in uw omgeving eenvoudig laten doen. Hieronder geven wij u een opsomming van het onderhoud dat u het beste zelf kunt doen. Iedere maand
Ieder kwartaal
Controleer of de rolstoel nog goed vouwt; Controleer de bekleding op scheuren en slijtage; Wielspeling voor en achter controleren en tevens nakijken of de wielen allen nog soepel draaien; Werking van de remmen; Controleer alle boutjes, schroefjes en moertjes en waar nodig draai ze vast; Controleer het loopvlak van de banden op slijtage.
