President Hu Jintao visited ZTE booth at " Expo on Emerging Industries of Strategic Importance" in Shenzhen, giving great concern to TD-LTE deployment. ZTE Chairman Mr. Hou Weigui was selected as one of the "Outstanding Innovation Persons" among the "Top 30 Elites during the 30-Year Development of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone". ZTE was awarded two Glod China Patent Awards recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and State Intellectual Property Office of P.R. China (SIPO). ZTE had an accumulated patent applications of 30,000. ZTE was awarded the Best Investor Prize 2010 by the Greater Paris Investment Agency, recognising the company for its contribution to the Greater Paris region. ZTE Corporation telah menandatangani kesepakatan uji coba (Long Term Evolution) LTE dengan PT. Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel)—operator selular terbesar di Indonesia.
Berdasarkan kesepakatan tersebut, ZTE akan menyediakan solusi-solusi LTE guna menjalankan uji coba jaringan LTE Telkomsel yang telah dimulai sejak bulan Agustus 2010 lalu.

ZTE berhasil menjadi vendor Cina pertama yang berhasil meraih sertifikasi standar Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF). ZTEâ€â€perusahaan penyedia perangkat telekomunkasi jaringan di duniaâ€â€mengumumkan bahwa pihaknya telah berhasil meraih sertifikasi Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF). Dengan diraihnya standar tersebut, ZTE pun menjadi vendor Cina pertama yang telah berhasil melewati kewenangan dari organisasi MEF. Prestasi tersebut diraih melalui xPON Next Generation Optical Access Platform ZTE. Alhasil produk tersebut menjadi penyedia perangkat passive optical networks (PON) ketiga di dunia dari Cina yang menerima sertifikasi ini.
Bagi yang masih asing dengan MEF, kami akan menjelaskan sedikit mengenai MEF. Jadi ini merupakan aliansi industri global yang terdiri dari 145 organisasi termasuk penyedia layanan telekomunikasi, operator TV cable, dan vendor perangkat jaringan.
MEF memiliki laboratorium resmi bernama Leometrix, yang menyediakan pengujian sertifikasi terpercaya secara global. Dengan kata lain, ini adalah organisasi yang paling berwenang di industri jaringan.
Sementara itu, platform xPON ZTE merupakan obyek yang dapat memenuhi persyaratan ketat dalam panduan yang ditetapkan oleh tes tersebut. Nah, MEF 9 akan memastikan penyesuaian perangkat yang terpasang pada user-ne twork interface (UNI) untuk penyetingan Ethernet Virtual Circuits (EVCs) dan VLANs. Tes MEF 14 EVC ini terkait dengan kinerja dari sebuah layanan.

Call Center RCSC memberikan layanan tanpa henti selama 24 jam sehari dan 7 hari seminggu ZTE (perusahaan penyedia perangkat telekomunikasi dan solusi jaringan terkemuka di dunia), mengumumkan bahwa ZTE kini telah mendirikan Asia Pasific Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC) di Jakarta, Indonesia.
Langkah tersebut ditempuh ZTE agar dapat terus menyediakan layanan maksimal bagi para pelanggan korporat ZTE yang tersebar di seluruh dunia. Maksud lainnya adalah agar dapat membangun dan membina komunikasi dengan memberikan dukungan bagi para pelanggan ZTE.
Saat ini, layanan ZTE mencakup negara-negara di daerah Asia Pasifik (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Filipina, Brunei, Timor Timur dan Australia). Visi Call Center Asia Pasific RCSC ini adalah memberikan layanan yang profesional, tulus dan efisien bagi pelanggan. Hal itu dicapai dengan mengintegrasikan pengoperasian dan pelaksanaan "Global Perfect Services" dari ZTE.
Call Center RCSC memberikan layanan tanpa henti selama 24 jam sehari dan 7 hari seminggu. Asia Pasific RCSC memberikan layanan purna jual dan dukungan teknis untuk semua produk yang dijual di Indonesia selama periode masa pemeliharaan, kecuali untuk perangkat terminal (handset).
"Dengan didirikannya call center Asia Pacific Regional Customer Support Center di Indonesia, ZTE akan menghadirkan layanan yang lebih baik lagi bagi para pelanggannya," kata Rahayu Noviyama T (Customer Service Manager PT. ZTE Indonesia). "Kepuasan pelanggan dan kualitas produk adalah aspek penting bagi ZTE, dan kami berkomitmen untuk menerapkan aspek tersebut pada call center kami," tambah Rahayu.
Fungsi utama RCSC adalah memberikan online support, seperti complaint handling, telephone consultation dan telephone inquiry. Jadi, setiap masalah yang dilaporkan pelanggan akan tercatat pada call log ke sistem penanganan masalah pelanggan di ZTE global oleh Customer Service Representative (CSR), dan akan dimonitor perkembangannya.

Dengan melakukan hal ini, setiap masalah tidak akan tercecer atau terbengkalai. Pelanggan dipastikan akan mendapatkan respon dari tenaga ahli ZTE dalam waktu 1 atau 2 jam, tergantung dari kondisi dan Service Level Agreement (SLA) yang disepakati.
Seluruh prosesnya juga dapat diawasi oleh pelanggan. Pelanggan yang memberikan laporan baik melalui nomor telepon hotline, fax, email atau website ke CSR akan mendapatkan nomer register, untuk dapat menanyakan status laporan. Permasalahan akan disampaikan ke tenaga ahli dengan tingkat kompetensi yang lebih tinggi, atau jika ternyata tidak dapat terpecahkan akan disampaikan ke para ahli di Cina.
