The ability of countries to provide economic prosperity for its citizens can be seen in the Global Competitiveness Index, which ranks Indonesia increased in 5 (five) years. These capabilities are supported on Competitiveness Index Infrastructure Indonesia which also increased in 5 (five) years, although it still needs to be improved.

The slow pace of reform and development in the railway sector The growth in the railway sector is only 7.7% of the total 4,800 km double track.
