• 2004: UNICA: Rector network COBRAW ini.ates working group • 2004: Curriculum Development : interna.onal workshops in Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen and Madrid. Future teaching staff and educa.onal departments of the par.cipa.ng universi.es involved from the start. • 2006: Curriculum Development Grant (Socrates Ac.on) for two years (European Commission) • 2008: Full curriculum of 120 ECTS • 2008-‐2009: Start of master programme intake of 15 students from all over Europe. • Acer three .mes applying: Erasmus Mundus Master Course. • 6th running edi.on: total of 126 4Ci.es Students

Pedagogisch Project • Iedereen ter plekke krijgen, op .jd is soms problema.sch • Lesgeven aan een interna.onale groep en interdisciplinaire groep = uitdaging – Belang veel debat en discussie – Groepswerk met doordachte samenstelling – Talenten bank • Studenten in 4Ci.es – Nood aan ‘rode draad’ doorheen semesters en verschillende universiteiten: het “grote verhaal” en de intellectuele uitdaging – Thesisverdediging voor nieuwe groep – Alumni-‐netwerk

Dus: Kwaliteit hangt vooral af van teambuilding en mission statement bij de eerste lijn Het gaat om intellectueel « pioniersgevoel »
III. Regelgeving Europees, naHonaal en insHtuHoneel • Na.onaal en inter-‐na.onaal kader versus transna.onaal • Programma wordt eerstelijns gemaakt in Europees kader: inpassing in na.onale en ins.tu.onele is de uitdaging, academische staf is de trekker • UNICA/(vice)rectoren mee.ng soms nodig • Consor.um agreement met zes partners moet passen in het ins.tu.oneel kader en na.onaal kader : zeer, zeer moeilijk – Punten, komma’s, woordkeuze,…!
• Afspraken nog grotendeels te maken hierover tussen de deelnemende landen/ accredita.e-‐organen, geen terugval basis, elk programme is een individuele struggle
