List of teachers that may function as mentors in the master audiovisual and visual arts 20132014 at the K.A.S.K. department. Excerpt from the departmental supplements on education and examination regulations (decision departmental council of June 20th 2008). A mentor is a personal supervisor for a student’s master project . Each student has at least one mentor from the field of practice and one in the theoretical field. As a rule, the studio mentor is chosen amongst the teachers of the main workshops/classes in the student’s field of study. Deflections from this principle can only be allowed after approval of the master’s practical coordinator. A member of the teaching staff is eligible for the role of theory mentor when he or she has been appointed to the function of assistant, practical assistant, teacher, head master or guest professor and when the majority of the order consists of non-artistically bound parts. A member of the teaching staff is eligible for the role of practice mentor when he or she has been appointed to an artistic function (artistic assistant, artistic practice assistant, artistic head master) or to the function of guest professor and when the major part of the assignment consists of artistically bound parts.
Lijst van lesgevers die als mentor kunnen fungeren in de Master Audiovisuele en Beeldende Kunsten 2013-2014 van het departement KASK Uittreksel uit de departementale aanvullingen op de onderwijs- en examenregeling (beslissing departementsraad 20 juni 2008): Een mentor is een persoonlijke begeleider van de masterproef van een bepaalde student. Elke student heeft minstens één mentor uit de praktijk en één uit de theorie. De ateliermentor wordt in de regel gekozen uit de docenten van de hoofdateliers van de afstudeerrichting. Afwijkingen hierop kunnen enkel bij goedkeuring door de praktische coördinator van de master. Een lid van het onderwijzend personeel komt in aanmerking als mentor theorie wanneer hij/zij is aangesteld in een ambt van assistent, praktijkassistent, docent, hoofddocent, of als gastprofessor en het grootste gedeelte van de opdracht bestaat uit niet artistiek-gebonden onderdelen. Een lid van het onderwijzend personeel komt in aanmerking als mentor praktijk wanneer hij/zij is aangesteld in een artistiek ambt (artistiek assistent, artistiek praktijkassistent, artistiek docent, artistiek hoofddocent) of als gastprofessor en het grootste gedeelte van de opdracht bestaat uit artistiek-gebonden onderdelen.”
