Hol
a
keresztapa?
(
Ady
Endre:
A
Sion‐hegy
alatt)
A
liturgikus
tevékenység
megújítja
a
világ
struktúráit.
Az
újévi
rítus
csaknem
mindenütt
a
király
meghaló‐feltámadó
ünnepe,
s
a
megújulásnak
az
a
legfõbb
szerepe,
hogy
a
régi
struktúrákkal
folytonosságot
teremtsen.
A
világ
mozgásrendje,
a
tengermozgás,
az
évszak‐
és
napszakgördülés
rajtunk
kívül
élõ
dinamikus
törvény,
mégis
meghúzza
árnyékrajzát
minden
lélegzéshullámban,
s
ha
felkészületlenül
lélegzünk,
felkészületlenül
lépünk
át
új
napba,
új
évbe,
elmarad
a
mozgásnak
a
belsõ
megszentelése,
ünnepietlenné
válik
minden,
amihez
viszonyíthatunk.
Ebben
a
folyamatosságot
teremtõ
elválasztásban
rejlik
hagyomány
és
eredeti
tehetség
tisztázatlan,
s
a
tisztázatlanságában
termékenyítõ
viszonya
is.
Ez
a
viszony
kísért
ott
minden
beavatásban:
a
beavatás
hagyománya
és
a
beavatott
között;
ez
a
kereszténység
és
a
megkeresztelt,
az
irodalom
és
az
író
sorsközössége.
De
hol
a
keresztapa?
Ki
a
beavató?
S
a
kérdés
most
nem
az,
hogy
ki
tanítja
a
sumér
királyt
az
aktí
évújító
szertartásán
vagy
ki
vezeti
az
író
tollát,
inkább
az,
hogy
Tammuz,
akinek
a
drámai
szerepét
a
király
magára
veszi,
vagy
Orpheusz,
aki
a
reflexió
nélküli
dalolásban
világtörvény‐adó
és
törvény‐felfüggesztõ
dalolási
mintát
ad
a
költõnek,
nem
válik‐e
maga
is
elkülöníthetetlen
részévé
a
szent
dinamikának,
az
"évszakgördülésnek":
nem
csupán
antropomorf
elvonatkoztatás‐e
maga
is,
termékenyítõ,
testnek
látszó
illuzórikus
szemlélet
a
2
hagyomány
és
az
egyén
között.
De
ha
termékenyítõ,
nem
mindegy‐e,
hogy
illuzórikus?
Mi
sajnálja
bennem
mégis
ezt
az
elvonatkoztatást:
miért
akarok
külön
is
Tammuzról,
Orpheuszról
vagy
Ady
Endrérõl
beszélni?
Miért
keresem
a
"belsõ
megszentelõdéshez",
az
ünnephez
a
mintaadó
alanyt,
az
Istent?
Mert
egymásban
keressük
egymást.
Ha
én
most
egy
istenkeresõ
Ady‐verset
keresek,
akkor,
miközben
a
vers
Istent
keresi,
Isten
talán
engem.
A
világban
megadatik
nekem
egy
fraktál‐szerû,
dinamikus
viszonyulás‐minta
részévé
lenni,
amiben
elevenné
válhat
minden
jelentés
és
értelem.
Hasonlóan,
mint
Herakleitosz
õselvei
között:
"Éli
a
tûz
a
föld
halálát,
a
levegõ
éli
a
tûz
halálát,
a
víz
éli
a
levegõ
halálát,
a
föld
a
víz
halálát."
Mert
az
elevenné
váló
dinamikus
minta
rögtön
pusztuló
és
pusztító
is.
A
Sion‐hegy
alatt
Istent
keresni
kell,
de
már
megtalálni
és
elveszteni:
ugyanaz.
A
Sion‐hegy
alatt
Borzolt,
fehér,
Isten‐szakállal,
Tépetten,
fázva
fújt,
szaladt
Az
én
Uram,
a
rég
feledett,
Nyirkos,
vak,
õszi
hajnalon
Valahol
Sion‐hegy
alatt.
Egy
nagy
harang
volt
a
kabátja,
Piros
betûkkel
foltozott,
Bús
és
kopott
volt
az
öreg
Úr.
Paskolta,
verte
a
ködöt,
3
Rórátéra
harangozott.
Lámpás
volt
reszketõ
kezemben
És
rongyolt
lelkemben
a
Hit
S
eszemben
a
régi
ifjúság:
Éreztem
az
Isten‐szagot
S
kerestem
akkor
valakit.
Megvárt
ott,
a
Sion‐hegy
alján
S
lángoltak,
égtek
a
kövek.
Harangozott
és
simogatott,
Bekönnyezte
az
arcomat,
Jó
volt,
kegyes
volt
az
öreg.
Ráncos,
vén
kezét
megcsókoltam
S
jajgatva
törtem
az
eszem:
"Hogy
hívnak
téged,
szép
öreg
Úr,
Kihez
mondottam
sok
imát?
Jaj,
jaj,
jaj,
nem
emlékezem."
"Halottan
visszajöttem
hozzád
Én,
az
életben
kárhozott.
Csak
tudnék
egy
gyermeki
imát?"
Õ
nézett
reám
szomorún
És
harangozott,
harangozott.
"Csak
nagyszerû
nevedet
tudnám."
Õ
várt,
várt
s
aztán
felszaladt.
4
Minden
lépése
zsoltár‐ütem:
Halotti
zsoltár.
S
én
ülök
Sírván
a
Sion‐hegy
alatt.
A
folyamat,
a
dráma,
a
balladás
dinamika
az,
ami
az
Ady‐
szövegnek
indulatkeringést
ad,
s
ebben
a
versben
mindjárt
a
cím
a
szív,
ami
szétpumpálja
ezt
az
indulatot.
Az
újabb
rágondolással
önmagát
mélyítõ
szinkretikus
földrajzi
szimbólum:
a
Sion
hegyében
látott
Sinai‐hegy
‐
s
a
két
hegyben,
két
hagyományban
felépülõ‐ rombolódó
új
hegy,
új
hagyomány
földrajzi‐kultúrtörténeti
áttünésíve.
Sion
hegyén
a
templom,
a
jeruzsálemi
világközép
a
királyság
idegen
intézményének
ad
a
szent
történelem
újabb
eseményeként
értékesíthetõ
terepet:
a
hagyományok
szinkretikus
domborzatát.
A
Sinai‐hegy
kõtábláinak
parancsa
õrzõdik
abban
a
Frigyládában,
ami
most
a
Szentek
Szentje
(debír)
homályába
kerül.
Az
izraeli
és
a
kánaáni
hagyományötvözõdésnek
új
és
eleven
érvényét
általánosítja
a
cím:
minden
értelemkeresés
pusztuló
és
épülõ
hagyományok
romjain
indul
el.
A
gyerekkori
eltemetett
élmény
hajnali
vonulása
nyomán
az
Érdmintszentbe
hazatérõ
megfáradt
Istenkeresés,
az
ártatlan
gyerekvágyak
tiszta
odaforduló‐megszólító
imájában
az
igazi
neveket
már
nem
találó
romlott‐menthetetlen
férfihang.
Hogyan
szól?
Egyszerre
az
ünnepi
királyzsoltárok
emelkedett
és
a
seoli
istennélküliséget
felidézõ
halotti
zsoltárok
elégikus
hangjain.
Egyszerre
mutat
rongyos,
hajléktalan,
keresõ
Istent
(két
versszakig)
és
nosztalgiájában,
tékozlás‐bánó
visszatérésében
is
lerongyolódott
keresõ
embert
(a
harmadik
versszakban).
Egyszerre
szelíd
és
kétségbeesett
ez
a
kelet‐európai
sztarec‐isten,
ahogy
5
"paskolja,
veri
a
ködöt",
és
egyszerre
testi,
lelki
és
szellemi
‐
és
ettõl
halotti
‐
az
az
"Isten‐szag"
("A
lelkek
a
Hádészban
illatérzõk"
‐
mondja
Herakleitosz),
ahogy
a
"kéz",
"lélek"
és
"ész"
helyhatározós
alakjai
a
harmadik
versszakban
fokozatosan,
sorról
sorra
sorvégrõl
sorelejére
mozdulnak
elõ.
A
versben
minden
pusztító‐teremtõ
mozgásban
van:
a
dráma
tárgya
és
a
dráma
alanya,
a
dráma
érzékelése
és
hangneme
egymást
keresi
és
egymásban
él.
A
keresés
tisztán
is
tetten
érhetõ
a
század
elsõ
felében
annyira
kedvelt
termékenyítõ
határozatlan
névmásban
és
névmási
határozószóban:
"Valakit"
(Istent)
"valahol
Sion‐hegy
alatt"
keresni.
Ez
a
határozatlanság
‐
ha
nem
válik
modorossá
‐
dinamikát
visz
a
kijelentésbe,
fellazítja
az
állítást
és
a
dolgok
önazonosságát,
úgy
tud
megnevezni,
mintha
keresne,
úgy
pontos,
hogy
sosem
válik
bántóan
statikussá.
Az
elsõ
két
versszak,
miközben
halálbiztosan
ejtegeti
mázsás
jelzõit
és
állapothatározóit,
hogy
az
istenképet
megrajzolja,
idegesen
"borzolt"
bizonytalanságban,
már‐már
a
litániahangzásnak
megfelelõ
kézmozdulatokkal
fest.
Szakrális
festés
ez,
és
a
szakralitásnak
mindig
része
a
szent
bizonytalanság.
Az
elsõ
szakasz
halmozás‐torlaszai,
az
eltávolító
(2.
és
5.
sor
végére
tett)
rímek
mint
egy
szent
képgomolygásból
örvényeltetik
ki
a
mozgó
isten‐képet,
ami
a
második
versszakra
letisztult,
emblematikus
szimbólummá
válhat.
A
keresõ
Isten
képét
olyan
csavart
alakzatok
is
formálják,
mint
az
"Isten‐szakállas"
Isten,
ahol
a
tautologikus
metafora
már
a
legelsõ
sorban
elõlegzi
a
késõbbi
névfeledés
drámájának
örvényes
élményét.
Mert
milyen
szakálla
legyen
az
Istennek?
S
ha
ugyanazt
ugyanazzal
magyarázzuk,
már
nem
tudjuk
megnevezni.
Az
alliterációkkal
és
mellérendelésekkel
fújtató
hangzást
keltõ
indítás
eldönthetetlenül
hagyja,
hogy
az
Úr
szaladva
menekül‐e
valami
elõl,
vagy
keres,
6
netalán
üldöz
valamit
‐
amíg
a
Nap
megindul
az
ég
szekérpályáján,
és
termékeny
(bölcs)
hozzáférhetetlenségbe
borítja
az
egész
jelenést
a
"nyirkos,
vak,
õszi
hajnalon".
A
látvány
az
isteni
kinyilatkoztatás
hangjához
(a
harangszóhoz)
igazodik,
amirõl
eldönthetetlen,
hogy
elõtte
vagy
utána
jár‐e
prófétájának,
hajtja‐e
vagy
húzza
az
istenkeresõt.
A
harangszó
a
rossz
elûzésének
szakrális
hangja
és
az
univerzális
rend
szimbóluma:
de
ha
egyedüli
válasz
a
kétségbeesetten
monologizáló
litánia‐kérdésekre
és
könyörgésekre,
fenyegetni
kezd,
miközben
megnyugtat,
kétségbe
ejt,
mikor
megvigasztal:
felfogni
a
lényegét
a
létünk
tudja,
nem
az
értelmünk.
Mindegy,
hogy
buddhista
aranycsengõ,
tibeti
nyeles
csengõ,
vagy
a
mennykõcsapás
rituális
elhárításának
eszköze,
lehet
szibériai
szellemhívó
zene,
az
isteni
hatalom
Koránból
kihangzó
visszaverõdése
vagy
a
zsidó
fõpap
köntösének
aranyszegélyén
a
csengõ
csilingelése,
megszólalhat
mint
a
legkisebb
harang:
a
halál
órájában
megszólaló
léleké.
Ahol
a
Sinai‐hegy
Sion‐heggyé
válhat,
ott
nem
sáfárkodunk
a
harangszóval
a
kultúrkörök
között.
Nem
ismerjük
a
lelkünk
harangját:
harang‐lelkiismeretünk
nem
a
miénk,
az
csak
nekünk
harangoz,
ez
szinkrétikusan
egyszerre
megbocsájtó
és
elátkozó
hangzás.
A
vers
hangnemében
is
szételemezhetetlen
az
ódai
epifánia
és
az
elégikus
megváltatlanság.
Az
Úr
harangba
öltözik,
a
vers
szimbólumokba
‐
a
kopott
és
piros
betûs
ruha
megalázóan
ünnepélyes.
A
szakralitás
(itt,
nálunk
‐
vagy
mindenütt?)
szakadt‐ koldus
gazdagság.
Amilyen
a
szerelem
szentsége,
a
harangé
és
a
harang
nyelvéé;
a
negyedik
versszak
áldó
és
átokban
hagyó
találkozásában,
ahol
a
lángoló
apokaliptikus
kövek
között
áttûnik
a
csatakos‐könnyes,
dekadensen
hisztérikus
szeretõ‐kép
az
arcot
bekönnyezõ,
ellágyuló
7
Isten‐síráson.
A
"jó
és
kegyes
öreg"
simogatása
bántóan
és
a
profán
hitetlenséget
szentséggé
tevõen
erotikus
izzású.
A
hit
akarása
("ha
hiszek
hitetlenül,
mert
hinni
akarok")
erotikusabb,
mint
a
hit,
vágyában
és
megváltatlan
kétségbeesésében
közelebb
áll
a
férfi‐nõ
földi
szakralitásához.
Ebben
az
erotikusan
telített
közegben
kellene
megváltódni
és
teremteni
‐
névvel
nemzeni,
mint
az
Isten,
mikor
a
tautológiával
a
világot
létrehívta.
De
ami
Ábrahámnak
sikerült
(nevet
adni
az
Istennek
és
erotikus
közelségbe
kerülni
vele),
azt
ma
már
nem
lehet.
Ma
a
névadás
csupán
absztrakció,
minden
folyamatot
dologgá
tesz
és
terméketlenít.
Így
tesz
életképessé,
miközben
a
valódi
életemet
elveszi,
s
marad
megtapasztalható,
de
a
helyünkön
megélhetetlen
egy
testemen
elvonatkoztatás.
Egyenletértékemen,
funkcióm
alapján
vagyok
az,
aki.
Költõ,
ha
piacom
van,
ha
jegyeznek,
ha
költõként
mûködöm.
S
ha
én
mégis
keresztapát
keresek,
ha
a
világ
absztrakciós‐bebiztosító
mozgását
ellensúlyozva
a
meditációban
a
dolgokat
eleven
folyamattá,
élõ
dinamizmussá
akarom
tenni,
mondjuk
a
harangszó
zengésére,
hogy
a
minden
pillanatban
halotti
zsoltárhangon
távolodó
istenség
‐
az
eleven
hagyomány
‐
megújulva
folytatódhassék
bennem...?
