1. EDS, Slovensko We are looking for a volunteer for EVS project in a youth Centre in Slovakia

General description: The VMCM Youth Centre aims to give the local youth a place to meet within a nice and cozy environment with secure settings. Furthermore it gives young people an opportunity to learn how to use computers, explore the Internet and use office programmes. During the evening and afternoon it is a meeting place for children and youth from 10-25 years old. They can come to this place and work with computers, join the cultural program, play a game, listening to music and much more.

The project is about work with children and youth available from 07.01.2013 for 10-12 month

EI ref. nr.: 2010-SK-54 The volunteer will have the opportunity to work with children and teenagers of different age and to organize, together with the group leaders working in the centers, different activities such as handmade stuff, cooking activities, sport etc. We would like our volunteer to help us in all different kinds of activities. At the same time we are open for their suggestions and ideas. We are especially interested in things connected with their culture national dances, songs, food and games for children typical for the country the volunteer comes from. Our volunteer should be an active, open-minded and creative person, who likes to work with children and youth and who knows how to get into touch with them (or at least is not afraid of that). Such interests as sport, music, dance or any other kind of passion with which volunteer can infect young people are also appreciated. EDS, Španělsko LOOKING FOR 5 VOLUNTEERS – LONG TERM EVS PROJECT 2013, ALBACETE (SPAIN) Description The Youth department of Council of Albacete is the municipal department that develops local youth policies. We are starting a selection process looking for 5 European volunteers. The deadline is 15th of August 2012. The aims are: - To facilitate the social participation of youth in the development of the city. - To promote the experimentation in youth as a way of non-formal learning. - To provide quality information to young people to support the design of their courses to adulthood. - To prevent risks associated with youth behavior. - To make progress in the quality of programs and services for youth.

Task The European volunteers will support activities in the Youth Area of the City Council of Albacete. Their collaboration will be focusing on tasks related to information and promotion of activities and spaces for youngest.

They will participate in the following activities: 1. Support Young Volunteer Project: Motivation, information and awareness of young people towards volunteering and participation. Information and guidance to young people about European Voluntary Service. Organization and encouragement of the different voluntary activities from municipal projects.

Evropská dobrovolná služba 2. Support Youth Mobility Project: Participation in the development of events to promote youth mobility. Participation in the development of “Hello Europe” group, a conversational exchange program. Information about European resources for youth. 3. Support Youth Information Centre: Development the tasks in direct contact with young people and always with the support of center staff. Participation in all training activities carried out by the center during their stay. Preparation with center staff an information dossier about European youth policies. Deal young people interested in these projects and information about the real possibilities of participation in them. Distribution of youth information through the website of the center in particular and Internet in general, finding information over the Internet. 4. Support Youth Centers Network: Assessment of needs according to the activities proposed by the associations. Support for youth groups from the center in carrying out these activities: planning, implementation and monitoring of these activities. Coordination of available resources. Contact the Youth Center to distribute the information generated by this and distribution of the information received among young people and associations. Organization and distribution of rooms for weekly activities. Statistical control of the loan of material. The volunteer will work in coordination with the coordinator and the team motivator of the center and they will provide their experience to the daily work of the center, while their Degree of involvement will determine the success of the project to a large.

Selecction Each volunteer has to send an application form, CV and motivation letter before the 15th of August 2012 at: [email protected]

Profile of the volunteers: the selection process will have to comply with the requirements conditions in the JEA program. The process will be open to any young adult (18-29 years). Next skills will be consider positive for the projects: Knowledge of office software programs, Spanish, English, social and communication skills, active listening skills, focus on aid, knowledge of promoting and animation youth, new technologies, youth information and Youth European Programs.

4. EDS, Španělsko Cazalla Intercultural is looking for two EVS volunteers to join our organization. The activity dates are 1st volunteer: 06/01/2013-06/10/2013 2nd volunteer: 01/02/2013-01/11/2013 EI: 2010-ES-98

The type of activities for volunteers are: • Work as a support person in coordination of European projects like youth exchanges and training courses by maintaining contact with organization’s partners • Work with immigrant children in collaboration with other NGOs from the municipality, like Cáritas and Red Cross. The volunteer should bring his/ her new creative ideas and organize workshops for children • Work with children as an English assistant in a public school • Participate in local activities for teenagers.
