With the French artist Martine Apaolaza you are going to make an adorable applique picture „Bakery“. At the same time you will learn from her different helpful tips and hints how to make a perfect applique. 15:15 - 18:00

For free cutting technique following the Gee´s Bend quilts you will use old jeans and coloured fabrics. Saturday 11.4. 9:30 - 11:30

A window on the world
Using a mixture of fabrics and paper scraps you will recreate part of your favourite view. You will make a fabric collage and stitch some details over the top. 11:45 - 14:45

Fine line piecing
Learn to piece very fine lines, and make a small pieced top in which you use thin lines to fracture the surface.

Through sampling with layered cloth, stitch, paper and mixed media you will create unique surfaces which can later be worked with machine and hand stitch techniques.

Enjoy creative knitting workshop with Brandon Mably from the Kaffe Fassett Design Studio. This workshop is for knitters who are interested in sharpening their colour observation in design.
