Voor vertrek1 gaven de ongewijzigde modellen theoretische nagalmtijden die dichtbij bij de meetwaarden lagen. Vertrek2 was een kleine ruimte met reflecterende muren. De nagalmtijd was kort. Dit werd voornamelijk veroorzaakt door het meubilair. De nagalmformules die een diffuus geluidveld veronderstellen zijn hiervoor minder van toepassing. De theoretische resultaten die zonder wijziging van de ruimtehoek worden verkregen zijn zeer verschillend van de meetresultaten(relatieve fout tussen de 20 en 100%). Als voor de theoretische waarden de correctie van de ruimtehoek wordt meegenomen worden de uitkomsten nauwkeuriger. De relatieve fout van de nagalmtijd ligt dan tussen de 10 en 45%.
