INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES You are to do all your work in the answer booklet provided. Do not write your answers on this examination paper. This paper consists of three sections: A B C
Interpersonal Domain – Respond to messages. Informational Domain – Demonstrate comprehension of specific items of information. Aesthetic Domain – Express original thoughts in Indonesian.
You are to attempt all three sections.
SECTION A
This section assesses Criterion 5. Answer in Indonesian ALL questions in this section. Question 1 Read the following letter and then write a response of about 150 words in Indonesian. Comment on Budi's letter and answer his questions, adding any necessary information.

Makan waktu dua puluh jam semuanya. Harus tunggu lima jam di Jakarta. Capai amat! Ya, pasti. Apa Robin bekerja atau belajar di Indonesia? Saya menjadi guru bahasa Inggeris di sekolah swasta. Banyak sekali orang Indonesia yang mau belajar bahasa Inggeris. Betul. Nah, Robin sekarang lancar sekali berbahasa Indonesia. Tinggal dengan keluarga di Menado? Ya, memang saya tinggal dengan keluarga Keristen. Saya menjadi anak mereka. Mereka baik hati sekali. Bagaimana dengan makanan Indonesia? Oh, saya suka sekali. Makanan Menado enak sekali. Bawa pulang suami orang Indonesia.
