One third of the 15 million Hungarian speakers live outside Hungary. Hungarian is the only language where the word farmer means jeans. In Hungarian grammatical forms are made by adding suffixes to the root syllable. It is possible to express a whole sentence in one word. (Szeretlek. = I love you.) Hungarian language is known as magyar. Stress is always on the first syllable of any word.
