MY HOBBIES
1. Read the text: People spend a lot of their free time with their hobbies. Some hobbies are typical for girls and some hobbies are typical for boys, some hobbies are for both. Boys play football and like cars, girls play volleyball and like fashion. My name is Denis and I am 13 years old. I like sports. I play football, basketball, and table tennis. I often watch football and ice hockey matches, and car races on TV with my Dad. We sometimes play ball games together. I go to the cinema with Mum and Dad, because we love films. I collect film posters. I have got all Harry Potter´s films posters. They are on the walls in my room. My sister doesn´t like it because she is keen on music and has got a lot of phothographs of singers and bands. She loves listening to pop music. Yuk, I prefer rock music. I play the guitar and watch rock concerts on my computer. I am on my computer every day. I chat with my friends. They all have hobbies. Lilly reads magazines for girls and fantasy books, plays tennis and volleyball, listens to hip hop. David plays computer games, watches films on TV, and collects badges. Diana loves travelling. She visits castles and chateaux, and mountains. She is good at skiing, too. She plays the piano at the local musical school. She plays in our band, too. The name of our band is „Cheer up“. The other members of our band are Tom and John. Tom plays the drums and John plays the guitar. Tom likes theatre, he goes to drama class. He wants to be an actor, a very famous actor. John is interested in the nature. He likes camping, hiking, going mushrooming. And now, it´s your turn. What do you do in your free time?
