Cost
Manufacturing industries; Agriculture, forestry and fisheries; Trade and investment promotion; Human resources development; Tourism; Information and communication technology; Financial services; Government procurement; Environment; and Other fields to be mutually agreed upon by the parties
i. strengthening of competitiveness of manufacturing industries including, interalia, management, technology, research and development, and industrial standard; ii. human resources development related to manufacturing industries; and iii. improvement of manufacturing industry infrastructure ii. Costs of cooperation under this Chapter shall be borne in an equitable manner to be mutually agreed upon by the Parties.

… to enhance competitiveness of Indonesian manufacturing industry in various sectors … Considered schemes: Basic Study, Dispatchment of Expert, Provision of Equipment, Training, Seminar/Workshop, Visiting Japanese Companies based on the shared understanding od the two governments on the necessity and feasibility of projects in each sector

Tidak ada pihak yang menangani secara Perlu dibentuk kesekretariatan MIDEC untuk khusus administrasi pengelolaan proyek menangani administrasi dan monev MIDEC sehingga menyulitkan proses pelaksanaan masing-masing proyek monitoring dan evaluasi pelaksanaan proyek Inisiatif proyek MIDEC belum sepenuhnya Inisiatif proyek MIDEC akan dilakukan didasarkan pada kebutuhan peningkatan menggunakan pendekatan Demand Driven, daya saing produk industri untuk ekspor Supply Driven dan Export Driven Selama ini skema kerjasama proyek MIDEC Perlu dipertimbangkan untuk menambah hanya difokuskan Basic Study, Dispatchment skema kerjasama ke arah provision of of Expert, Training, dan Seminar/Workshop equipment dan improvement of manufacturing industry infrastructure
Informasi terkait MIDEC belum tersosialisasikan dengan baik kepada Stakeholder, sehingga masih ada kebingungan untuk memberikan inisiatif proyek MIDEC baru
Perlu dilakukan sosialisasi secara kontinu dan komprehensif kepada seluruh stakeholder, dan penyediaan layanan informasi dari Sekretariat MIDEC setelah terbentuk

Usulan Posisi Runding MIDEC 1. Penegasan kembali bahwa sebagaimana tercantum pada Implementing Agreement, salah satu area kerjasama di bidang industri manufaktur adalah improvement of manufacturing industry infrastructure, yang selama ini belum diberikan oleh pihak Jepang; 2. Menambahkan provision of equipment sebagai salah satu fokus kegiatan pada proyek MIDEC; 3. Perubahan sektor kerjasama MIDEC yang tadinya 13 sektor (6 cross sectors dan 7 specific sectors) menjadi 10 sektor industri prioritas sesuai dengan arah kebijakan pengembangan industri sebagaimana tercantum pada RIPIN (Rencana Induk Pengembangan Industri Nasional) MIDEC – New Initiatives Approach
