LSDBunker Q-Base Bid Waarom LSDBunker?

Lee Mac: Lee Mac is an up and coming Hard dance & Techno DJ/Producer from Waterford city in Ireland. Lee started DJ'ing in 2006, playing mostly Hardstyle and Hard Dance which are two of the biggest influences on his sound today. It was about a year or so later when Lee started to discover techno. Artists like A.Paul, Felix Krocher, Advent and Boris. S were just some of the names that would had an effect on him. After a while of Dj'ing and playing some warm up spots, Lee knew he would have to start making music if he was to get anywhere in this scene. In summer 2009 he started to construct his own music. Now his tracks and remixes are signed to some of the biggest Hard Dance lables in the Ireland, The UK Worldwide including Kiddfectious, D-Day, Virus Audio, Dirty Stop Outs, Tech Fu, Digitally Infected, Electrik Shandy and more. With his dark, aggressive and techy style of futuristic hard dance he has attracted some big support in the hard dance scene from names such as Scot Project, Alex Kidd, A*S*Y*S, Kutski, Anne Savage, Fausto, KloneZ, Argy, Diablik and more so I'm sure we are set to see a lot more of him! Story:
Why you become a dj: I became a DJ because of my love of music that I shared with two of my mates, who dj'ed at the time aswell, this brought me into production a few years I love Dj'ing live because I get a chance to see peoples reactions to my own productions and also to other tracks I love that are not mine. Just working a crowd in general.
Experiences; where do we know you from: Lee had been a fan of Gearbox radio for a while and decided to send a demo mix tape which was well received by the show. When hard trance became more a centre point of the show, Lee was instantly snapped up as a resident. You can now hear him mix for Gearbox once a month and all of his sets are available on lsdb.
Dean Myler: Dean Myler was born in Waterford Ireland, where his passion for electronic music was fostered from an early age by his Deep House loving father. He started experimenting with turntables at home from the age of 14. The quest to find his own voice and style as a DJ, led him to begin his career playing hard dance in small nightclub venues around Ireland. The Hard Dance scene in Ireland was small and catered for only a few, and in his own hometown the scene was non existent. As a result, he started to frequent Deep House and Techno gigs, where his love for the deepness and the darkness of Techno emerged. Slowly, his musical interests changed and evolved, to where he is now, where he feels the most inspired....by Techno. His skills as a DJ have seen him play in most of Ireland's biggest nightclubs, and alongside such luminaries as A.Paul, Kidd Kaos and Phil York. He also experiments with other forms, and plays Deep House as the duo Empty Reaches, with his long time friend and fellow DJ, Lee McEnery . It was natural that Dean would become interested in production and in an effort to hone his skills
and delve deeper into the scene, he embarked upon a Sound Engineering and Music Production course in 2009. Now with releases on such labels as Tech Fu Recordings,Battered Records,Niightmode Records & Dirty stop outs !!

From a young age I have been watching my father playing old turntables and mixing deep house music. The memories of the old style deep house grooves and sound of vinyl got me interested at a later age! I became a dj for the pure love of music and its ability to move people and there emotions. What i love most about djin is the feeling/atmosphere you get from a crowd when you play a set, also the appreciation of the ravers after a set which makes it all worth while!!
Experiences:Started playing small hard dance gigs in ireland for a promotion agency called Infect3d. Warmed up for such djs as Phil York,Andy RIchmond,A.Paul and Kidd Kaos.I do a monthly radio show on Gearbox hardstation.fm. Nicco: Producer - Recently started, just a newbie. Started off with going through life with a massive passion for music, not just dance but other genres aswell, Metal, Rock, Hip-Hop, Breaks, Alternative, if I liked it, I listened to it! I went through learning a number of different instruments until I bought my first set of decks after just turning 16, every other instrument and hobbie was completely abandoned for time to play my records on these simple turntables. Only a few months had passed and I was wanting to get out their and play the music I loved to anyone who would listen, myself and a friend organised our first night, in a tiny hall, in the middle of
nowhere! This continued in a small pub in my hometown for a number of years to where my Clubnight name Change-of-Scene was born and has been a frequent part of my life ever since. The past 3 years have really exploded for me, with 3 residencys held in 2 clubs and the success of nights that I've co organised with Gearbox Radio to having a guest mix featured on Q-Dance Radio and being booked at gigs all around Scotland (and soon Ireland) at least twice a month for the past 2 years playing alongside some of the biggest names in the UK and abroad including Fausto, Kutski, Cally & Juice, Organ Doners, Phil York, Anne Savage, Alphaverb, Brian M & McBunn, Lisa Lashes, L.E.D, Tommyknocker, Frisky, RushGBH, Mark EG, Kidd Kaos, ASYS, Dark by Design, Hixxy, Mallorca Lee, William Daniel plus loads loads more!
The near future will see myself dedicating my spare time to production, with just recently gone through a short music production course in London, the sooner the better!

Desudo: Desudo started DJ-ing in 2009 and in a short space of time has achieved a lot of success in hard dance through his radio show called 'Gearbox' Gearbox started on a local radio station called speysound radio where Desudo broadcasted his own mixes and presented a vocal account of the latest happenings in hardstyle. The show soon also started on Internet radio on a couple of different stations until it found excellent success with a 4 hour broadcast every Friday night on Real Hardstyle Radio. On Real Hardstyle Radio the show presented mixes from massive names in hardstyle like Toneshifterz, Brainkicker, Sasha F, SDee, G1 & Twizted, Nitrouz, Alex Kidd, Kidd Kaos and Dark By Design. She show had established itself as the most diverse on Real Hardstyle Radio, so after the demise of the station it was important for Desudo to find a station where diversity would be encouraged. He found that in Hardstation.FM.
On this new station Desudo explored various different areas of hard dance but has now mainly concentrated on Hard Trance. His show now has 10 resident dj's, all of which are huge prospects for the future. The show still pulls in huge names like Fausto, DJ Thera, Sa.Vee.Oh and Luca Antolini all of whom are featuring on the show in just this month alone. Desudo has recently taken his brand to the clubs with the help of his good friend Nicco Tough, who runs Change of Scene. Gearbox and Change of Scene have taken dj's like Fausto, Phil York, ASYS and McBunn to Inverness and Desudo will be hosting his own night this month with DJ Thera and Geck-o. As well as playing at his own nights, Desudo has a busy schedule for the rest of the year as he supports artists like Argy, Caly and Juice, Dark By Design and Sean Tyas in various cities in Scotland and Northern Ireland. If you ever have the chance to hear him live you will most likely here a set which progresses from the deep and dark techy reaches of hard trance to the pounding and highly energic sounds of underground hardstyle that keeps the early hardstyle routes in it's theme. His style was recently showcased on Fausto's Crossover as Nicco and Desudo were asked to provide the guestmix of the week for the infamous show. Desudo is now concentrating on expanding the radio show by producing two separate editions for both hard trance and hardstyle, he also plans to start his own record label as well as continuing to promote gigs in Scotland.

Bio:
Dj Addict just begon spinning a few years ago, he started posting mixes on lsdb to get feedback. What mostly resulted in the usual arguments, but he learned from what people pointed out. Not long after that the first few party`s came where he played. His love for hardcore started in 1994, especially the older parties in sporthallen zuid gave him an obsession for early hardcore. Now his mixes travel the world and are mostly early hardcore mixed with millennium core. These days Addict is working on some productions with his cenobite friends The Philosopher and Leviathan, with releases on the way, allthough his problem is being an addict wich means being creative and a perfectionist.

Nowadays I've been passionate by the dark styles of dance music like: Industrial Hardcore, Schranz, Darkstep, … I’m also busy with producing hardtechno tracks. Influence: Malke , Jan Fleck, André Frauenstein,Tymon, Richie Gee, DJ Hammond, Jason Little, Marcel Cousteau, Daniela Haverbeck, Mental Crush, DJ Lukas Fernanda Martins,… Experiences: I’ve played on several parties in Belgium. I also did some guestmixes for various online radio stations such as: Hardstation.FM, Hardschockers.FM, HardEnergy.lv ... . Meagashira: Meagashira is among the most popular producers of the Enzyme label. His productions are renowned for his singing synthesizer sounds, (computer)voice samples, and dark atmospheres. Melodramatic melodies form the basis of the tracks, but they are never too happy, nor annoying. Synthesizer sounds always appear at the higher end of the sound spectrum. Add a few 3D-effects on top of that and the result is unmistakably a Meagashira hit. To mention only a few: ‘End of Line’, ‘Swarm’, ‘Lost in Music’, ‘We Are Outsiders’, ‘Outcasts’ and ‘Who I Am. The hit ‘Through Inner Core’ can already be found in the bags of the DJs playing Early Rave, showing that this track never lost its attraction. As an introvert person Meagashira has created his own specific, independent style, without taking notice of the fashionable hardcore styles of that moment. Nonetheless, his creations contain progressive elements by utilizing new ways of producing music. His tracks surely do not come in large batches, keeping it exclusive. This is because the aspect of quality is never compromised in his productions. Meagashira always takes the serious approach when it comes to making music, so you'll not find any gimmicks in his productions. This motto has made him popular in the scene. Project Omeaga was initiated when there was material to be released, which did not live up to the expectations of a regular Meagashira track. The tracks were more experimental, emptier and having a less well-established structure. Ridicule or almost absurd elements are common ingredients for a Project Omeaga track: it's hardcore with a wink. The first example of this new ‘genre’ is Prozac-Attack. A hardcore track can’t possibly get any emptier. The follow-up Prednison-Attack was to become a smash hit, but it was initiated as an experimental stomper. As B-2 track it took a while for the DJs to discover it, but in 2004 this track was played at every hardcore event in the world one can think of. Nice to know is that the synthsound in the track is in fact not a synthesizer sound, but a thoroughly tweaked voice sample of the producer himself. During the years to come the Project Omeaga project allowed for releases such as the PrednisonAttack VIP series, where 4 individual ‘Attack’ tracks were released on white vinyl. Other titles include Opbokken, Miss Parkinson and Lady Alzheimer. These obscure titles leave food for thought, but sometimes good songs do not necessarily have meanings understandable with common sense.
