LAMPIRAN 1 PERHITUNGAN DOSIS
Berdasarkan jurnal “A Dose-Response Study on the Effects of Purified Lycopene Supplementation on Biomarkers of Oxidative Stress”, disebutkan bahwa dosis likopen 30 mg/hari pada manusia dapat menurunkan kerusakan akibat stres oksidatif (Devaraj et al, 2008). Sediaan likopen yang digunakan berupa pasta tomat. Menurut data USDA (1998) dalam 100 gram pasta tomat terdapat 29,33 mg likopen.
Dosis pasta tomat untuk manusia: 30 mg x 100 gram = 102,28 gram 29,33 mg
Dosis pasta tomat untuk mencit (berat badan 20 gram) = 102,28 gram x 0,0026 (faktor konversi dari manusia ke mencit) = 0,27 gram
Dosis pasta tomat untuk mencit berat badan 24 gram 24 gram x 0,27 gram = 0,324 gram = 0,32 gram 20 gram Pasta tomat dosis I: ½ x 0,32 gram = 0,16 gram pasta tomat Pasta tomat dosis II: 1 x 0,32 gram = 0,32 gram pasta tomat Pasta tomat dosis III: ¾ x 0,32 gram = 0,48 gram pasta tomat
