Thematic Sections 1. Social work from the perspective of other disciplines (host: PhDr. Martin Smutek, Ph.D.) This section will focus on issues related to the educational needs of social workers in the field of theory and practice of relative disciplines as sociology, philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, social politics, health studies, jurisprudence, etc. 2. Intradisciplinary cooperation in Social Work practice (host: Mgr. et Mgr. Radka Janebová, Ph.D.) This section will concentrate on principles, assumptions, forms, problems or examples of best practises related to the mutual cooperation of social workers from various domains (f. e. from the areas of self-government, public administration, social services, healthcare, education, prison service, etc.). 3. Interdisciplinary cooperation in Social Work practice (host: prof. PhDr. Jana Levická, Ph.D.) This section will be targeted at principles, assumptions, forms, problems or examples of best practises related to the cooperation of social workers and their colleagues from the fields of psychology, psychiatry or any other area of medicine, education, social pedagogy, special pedagogy, caretaking, police, etc. One of the subtopic will be prestige of the Social Work seen by cooperating professions. 4. Cooperation on the macro level of Social Work (host: Mgr. Miroslav Kappl, Ph.D.) This section will focus on principles, assumptions, forms, problems or examples of best practises related to the need of social workers to change social environment of their clients on the macro level. Topics of the section can be experience with influence of social workers on political representatives, or experience with cooperation with senior officials. 5. Need of cooperation with elderly people within Social Work (host: Mgr. Zuzana Truhlářová, Ph.D.) On the occasion of the European Year of Active Aging and Intergenerational Solidarity, one of the sections will be entirely dedicated to the target audience of elderly people. The section will concentrate on the need of intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary cooperation with this target group, as well as on the experience with such a cooperation.

Conference Outputs Collection of papers will be printed. Papers undergo double anonymous review process. The scientific committee reserve the right to ask for specification of paper abstracts, as long as the abstracts do not correspond with the topic of the conference. Papers that do not correspond with the requirements of the scientific committee will be included in the proceedings published on a CD ROM.

Receipt of the paper will be acknowledged. At the latest, the text can be submitted in electronic form on the first day of the conference, i. e.
