Introduction The website epiteszforum.hu founded in 2000 is an online architectural daily with daily updates of new and valuable professional news that besides the presentation of buildings and architectural plans also covers the most important social news, tenders, awards and presents the relevant new actors in the field of architecture in Hungary. You may found here everything what is important is the local architectural life since 2000. The website also informs its readers about the notable domestic and international events of architecture, new products, developments, technologies, providing a comprehensive view on the scene of the architectural profession. Moreover, the content of the website is continuously expanding with connected topics such as creative industry, innovation, contemporary visual culture, design, landscaping and urbanism. The website epiteszforum.hu functions as a reliable, relevant professional background and a reference for the leading Hungarian public and social media, and even for the governmental media.

Epiteszforum.hu prepares and organizes one of the most important architectural events of Hungary, the Media's Architectural Prize; this year this will be the eleventh occasion. The specialty of the event is its unique format that is very suitable to communicate the results of the contemporary architecture to a wider public. The role in the public jury and opinion forming undertaken by the representatives of the Hungarian leading media and the awards handed out by them generate a significant amount of public noise.

The website epiteszforum.hu is an independent media that has been founded by architects Mihály VARGHA (1952-2010) and Erika Katalina PÁSZTOR DLA in 2000, presenting architectural content for the first time in the Hungarian Internet. Social Media > Facebook, Twitter Epiteszforum.hu has been present on Facebook with an own page since March 2009. The most exciting contents and events appear on the Facebook page of epiteszforum.hu with more than 9 thousand followers and also on its Twitter feed. A quick list of the tender and registration deadlines nearing in appears on the right side of the home page in a highlighted place. Posting a job ad Job ads in the „Looking for job” column is free of charge, in „Offering job” column cost HUF 20,000 + VAT / occasion. The job ad will appear on the website for a maximum of 30 days for this fee.

Newsletter The newsletter contains the content of epiteszforum.hu from the previous week, it is sent Wednesdays to the e-mail addresses of those who requested a newsletter (2,000 readers). The ad will appear in the header of the e-mail, practically as a newsletter banner with a size of 600 (width) x 120 (height) pixels in *.jpg format (photo). Dossier sponsorship From time to time epíteszforum.hu classifies its content deemed as the most important into dossiers. Despite this content was classified into different categories, sometimes they still belong together and epiteszforum.hu provides an opportunity to its partners to be represented as sponsors regarding the content enjoying outstanding popularity. The prioritized dossiers can be accessed directly from the home page, from the upper right corner from a highlighted area. Articles related to the given topic are regularly placed into these prioritized dossiers that are located in a highlighted place even when otherwise they would not be included in the daily feed anymore. The dossier has a lead picture that is an advertisement with a constant photo that can be changed from time to time. Ca. 15-20 articles can be placed into the dossier; up to 6,000 characters per article + at least 1 piece of max. 1200x1200 pixels jpg photo. The size of the dossier photo is 325x275 pixels. Media's Architectural Prize [MAP] 2015 mediadij.epiteszforum.hu

In 2005 we invited the representatives of the leading print and electronic (non-professional) media of Hungary in order to found an architecture award and to organize a public evaluation jury with the help of which it could decided which building and which design the media and the public favoured the most in the given year. Without any exaggeration the Media's Architectural Prize is a unique initiative. No such award is anywhere to be found: we came up with an original format that has been further polished and developed with our partners and sponsors from year to year. In 2014 the the tenth jubilee public evaluation jury and award ceremony was held in the Urania movie theater in front of 430 guests. The event was reported about in more than 90 media appearances.
