Merupakan master plan dari suatu instalasi industri yang memuat instruksi-instruksi umum bagi penggambaran dan cara kerja plant Berkaitan erat dengan PFD, sistem perpipaan (proses dan utilitas) dan instrumentasi Menggunakan simbol-simbol standard Pembuatannya membutuhkan interaksi dengan groupgroup desain terkait lain dan berulang-ulang (iterasi) Memuat informasi-informasi : ukuran pipa, service, spesifikasi pipa, tipe dan tebal insulasi pipa, komponen pipa (flange, orifice, fitting, dll), equipment, instrumentasi dan keterangan peralatan, arah aliran, proses dan lain-lain.
