Marek FERTIG Graduated from the Faculty of Historical Studies of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He is a specialist in research projects at AMU. His main area of interest is the study of urban anthropology and EU programmes for scientific research.

Jaromir JESZKE PhD. Associate professor, is working at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and the Institute of the History of Science of Polish Academy of
Sciences in Warsaw. Perform the duties of the head of the Interdepartmental “Questions of Boundaries” of Adam Mickiewicz University. In the years 2002-2014 head of the Department of Protection of the Cultural Heritage and Intercultural Communication at this university. He is a member of the History of Science and Technology Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2012 he has been the coordinator of the Strategic Grant of the International Visegrad Fund “Sites of Memory: heritage of the memory - memory of the heritage”. His research interests focus on culturally interpreted the history of medicine, history, historiography and the theory of science, myths historiography of science, anthropology of knowledge and the role of the past in the process of intercultural communication.
Violetta JULKOWSKA Ph.D. Associate professor, historian and didactic of history, is working at the Faculty of History of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Graduate of Polish philology and history at Adam Mickiewicz University, assistant professor of Poznan University (1996-2010). Expert in Polish-German Textbook Commission/Council since 2008. Research interests: didactics of history, history of historiography, memory research/studies, biographic studies. Published books: Rhetorics of Joachim Lelewel’s historical narration, European dimension of education and Christianity, 2006; History for imagination. Reception and interpretation of historical writing of Karol Szajnocha, 2010; Foto- history. The Photography in representing of the past. (ed) 2012; Helena Tadeuszak 1909-1986 (2014), Jan Kiliński. History and memory (ed.) 2015.
Peter MACHO Mgr., PhD. The scientific worker of the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. He deals with history of 19th and 20th centuries and he is specialized in the research of historical memory, collective identities and national symbolism (in particular the phenomenon of a national hero). He is the author of many scientific and popularizing publications (Milan Rastislav Štefánik in the heads and hearts.
