Cody III MD, FACS, is a graduate of Dartmouth College in 1970 and received his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1974. He completed surgical residency training at The Roosevelt Hospital in New York, and Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where he is currently Attending Surgeon on the Breast Service (Department of Surgery), Member (Memorial Hospital), and Professor of Clinical Surgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. The principal focus of his clinical research over the last decade has been sentinel lymph node biopsy.

All together the departments carry out approximately 120 000 breast screening cases/ year and approximately 35 000 clinical examinations/year. Ph. D.
