BACKGROUND EVENT
Every student embodies different potential and virtuosities. Their profiles varied to numbers of different areas related to academic sector, art, sport, or even literature. There is abounding unseen talent considering there is no media to express it. Therefore, Regina Pacis Jakarta High School, period 2009-2010, is organizing a musical drama to unveil the students‟ potential in art.
Bringing to mind of the positive reaction from the public and students toward the musical drama performed last year, indicated by the numbers of visitors reaching above 650 people, hence the committee decided to arrange another art performance. The art performance is a drama musical about the unconditional love that is born from profound friendship which will bring out the feeling of „us‟ and „we‟.
The drama musical will be performed under the cooperation between Regina Pacis Jakarta‟s committee and Rotary Club Jakarta Gambir. The drama musical is not only to express students‟ virtuosities but also to collect fund for polio eradication program in Indonesia.
Majority of current films at this age of time emphasized more on the love shared between men and women thus makes people forget that love can also be found in families, especially in the form of warmth. It is for that reason we are hosting this concert which can be enjoyed not only by the youths but also the parents. We want to escort the audience to enter the atmosphere of warmth.

A media to express the Regina Pacis Senior High School Jakarta students‟ profiles of creativity and inventiveness in art
Escalate students‟ and parents‟ esteem toward classical music and drama
Improving students‟ capabilities in performing art
Increasing the sense of solidarity and unity between students
Gathering fund for polio eradication program
Actualizing Regina Pacis‟ motto “Adveritatem Percaritatem”, which means validity through sportsmanship and love in art
Introducing Regina Pacis Jakarta High School to the general public

EVENT CONCEPT Musical drama The title of the drama musical is “The Sounds of Music”. This drama will be about the life of a family. There will be a lot of dances and solos from the performers. The musical drama is adapted from a well known movie, „The Sound of Music‟. It is a story full of love, dramas, conflicts, and music.

1 Kenan Loui Widjaja – ending performance
Kenan Loui. An established electone player. He won 1st prize for junior section in Electone Festival by playing his own composition, „Angin‟. He also participated in Asia Electone Festival 2008 and won 1st prize for open age section by playing his own composition, „Global Powerization‟. Then, he represented Indonesia in International Concours Festival 2009 Japan, and also won the first prize by playing 3 of his own compositions and a collaboration or jamming session with a drummer.
Alexandra Roselyn – supporting character in the drama
Alexandra Roselyn. A member of Elfas singer. She has performed as a backing vocal with Iwan Fals and has already performed in many places such as EX, FX, and etc. Recently, she had qualified to be top 20 models from a popular teen magazine, Gogirl!.

3 Heidy Maslim – supporting character in the drama
Heidy Maslim. An excellent singer. She won a singing competition in school and a prime member of her church‟s choir.
Vinsenso Julius Pratama – background music(piano/keyboard)
Vincenso Julius Pratama. An outstanding piano player. He is a student in Royal Schools of Music. He has the highest score is the previous grade 8 exam in Jakarta. He had performed in his own recital in Goethe Haus. A well known newspaper in Indonesia, KOMPAS, had an article about him on February 2009.
Michelle Josephine – background music (piano/keyboard)
Michelle Josephine. Also an outstanding piano player. She is a student in Royal Schools of Music. She has the highest score in the previous grade 6 and 7 exam in Jakarta.

Martin Dominikus. An outstanding guitarist. His band group had performed in numerous places like Mulia hotel, . He will duet with a Regina Pacis Junior High School Jakarta student.
Itova Saktiara, Caroline Lie, Andreas Rafael, Patrick Lukman – supporting characters in the drama
Itova, Caroline, Andreas, and Patrick are members of Teater Keliling. Teater Keliling is a famous modern drama institution lead by Rudolf Puspa. One of their performance was „Klinik Jiwa Jilid 2‟ at RRI building.
