A THOUGHT BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD
A twenty-fifth birthday is a good reason to celebrate. I am celebrating with a special drink of the “Relax” brand, and invite you to free yourself from the ticking clock and join me. I may not be qualified to guide you through the thoughts of experts, philosophers, or poets about the flow of time or water, but I can lightly direct your imagination towards a tiny spring of water that has just found its way up from the depths of the earth to imprint on its surface, following the trails of bygone eruptions and extinct animals. It flows with new energy to give us a picture, a mission. If we release our imagination, it will show us wetlands and deserts, their mystical meanings, and offer us the question: What are we as people? Water and nothing but water? Which returns us to the beginning of my banal reflection, as well as to my wish. Let the springs of energy from the Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation keep on flowing, and shower everyone – the rich and the poor, the old and the young! Yours Dana Němcová
