en The story of the Hungarian race goes back to 2007. That is when the first Hungarian team the BME Formula Student Team was founded at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). Tamás Csütörtöki and Alexander Dudás have also joined this elite club of students. After finishing their studies both of them have found their place in Győr. Alexander at the Széchényi István University, and Tamás at the xmeditor Ltd., both of these institutions have an essential role in organizing the event. In 2009 the historical moment has arrived to have a real chance to start to organize the first Hungarian race. That time

Balázs Vasfői has joined the determined team, and he still helps the processing of the event with his experience as an event organizer. Since the first year Győr-Gönyű Harbor was the home of the debuting Hungarian event. In 2010, 11 teams from 6 countries, in 2011 28 teams from 14 countries came to our event. Both the participants and the guest’s feedbacks proved that the Hungarian race met every expectations. Thanks to the successful organization of the past two years, in 2012 between the 17th and the 20th of August 41 teams from 11 countries will participate on the third event, including 10 electric teams.
hu A magyar verseny története 2007-ig nyúlik vissza. Ekkor alakult meg első magyar csapatként a Budapesti Műszaki és Gazdaságtudományi Egyetem hallgatóiból a BME Formula Student Team. A hallgatók elit klubjához csatlakozott Dudás Alexander és Csütörtöki Tamás is. Az egyetem elvégzése után úgy hozta a sors, hogy mindketten Győrben kötöttek ki. Alexander a győri Széchenyi István Egyetemen, míg Tamás az xmeditor Kft.-nél - e két intézmény azóta is oroszlánrészt vállal a rendezvény lebonyolításában. A történelmi idő 2009-ben érkezett el arra, hogy reális esély legyen az első magyar verseny előkészületeinek megkezdésére. Ekkor csatlakozott az elszánt csapathoz Vasfői Balázs, aki azóta is a rendezvényszervezésben szerzett
tapasztalataival segíti az esemény lebonyolítását. Már az első évben is a Győr– Gönyűi Kikötő adott otthont a hazánkban debütáns eseménynek. 2010-ben 6 ország 11 csapata, míg 2011-ben már 14 ország 28 csapata érkezett a rendezvényre. Mind a résztvevők, mind a kül- és belföldi vendégek egybehangzó véleménye az volt, hogy a magyar verseny minden elvárásnak megfelelt. Az elmúlt két év sikeres rendezésének is köszönhető, hogy a 2012. augusztus 17-20. között immár harmadik alkalommal megrendezésre kerülő Formula Student Hungary 11 országból 41 csapatot, köztük 10 elektromos járművel érkezőt fogad!

en Formula Student is a series, where students build a single seat formula racecar with which they can compete against teams from all over the world. The competition is not won solely by the team with the fastest car, but rather by the team with the best overall package of construction, performance, and financial and sales planning. Teams take on the assumption that they are a manufacturers developing a prototype to be evaluated for production.
The target audience is the nonprofessional Weekend-Racer, for which the racecar must show very good driving characteristics such as acceleration, braking and handling. It should be offered at a very reasonable cost and be reliable. The challenge the teams face is to compose a complete package consisting of a well constructed racecar and a sales plan that best matches these given criteria. The decision is made by a jury of experts from the motorsport, automotive and supplier industries.

The jury will judge every team’s car and sales plan based on construction, cost planning and sales presentation. The rest of the judging will be done out on the track, where the student demonstrate in a number of performance tests how well their self-built racecars fare in their true environment. hu A Formula Student egy formula autós (nyitott vezetőfülkés) versenysorozat, mely alapvetően konstruktőri verseny, a hangsúly főként az alkalmazott technikákon, technológiákon és a csapatfellépésen, nem pedig a sebességen vagy a fej-fej melletti küzdelmen van. A csapatoknak a verseny alapkoncepcióját követve egy sorozatgyártásra kész versenyautó prototípusát kell megtervezniük és legyártaniuk, melynek fő piacát a nem professzionális autóversenyzők
jelentik. Ez alapján az autónak nemcsak menettulajdonságaiban kell megbízhatónak lennie, a csapatoknak sorozatgyártásban is piacképes áron előállítható konstrukciót kell produkálniuk. A verseny tulajdonképpen egy jól megtervezett versenyautó legyártásának és az értékesítési terv kidolgozásának kombinációja. Az eredmények alakulása összetett pontozásos rendszer alapján történik, melyben a pontokat a motorsport és az autóipar szakembereiből álló zsűri adja. A pontok egy része úgynevezett statikus versenyszámokból áll össze, ahol pontozzák az autót és az értékesítési tervet a műszaki megoldások, a költségterv és az értékesítési prezentáció alapján. A pontok másik része a versenypályán kerül kiosztásra, ahol a diákok számos teszt és versenyszám keretében bizonyíthatják az általuk épített versenyautó képességeit.

en The first stage is the technical review of the vehicles. The judges verify whether the cars comply with the technical and safety regulations set by Formula Student. During the “static” events, the teams present the car’s technical solutions, the calculated costs of productions and their prepared business plan for the car. The judges assess the whole “enterprise” on how well it is organised, the professional skills applied and the practicality of the project. The dynamic competition events take place on the racing course after the static events. On the 75-metre straight racing course, acceleration is measured; the order of the cars is formed after

4 sprints. On the Figure 8 course (Skid Pad), the vehicle’s maximum cornering capability is measured. One car has to complete 2 laps in both directions of the figure 8 course. The “Autocross” or “Sprint” event is carried out on a racing course, where the teams are ranked based on their lap times. They enter the main race – Endurance – on the basis of their results reached here. The “Endurance” event is about durability and reliability. During this event, contestants have to complete a 22 km run on the “Autocross” race course. Here, fuel economy, time and endurance are assessed. Final ranking is determined by the points collected during the 3 static and 4 dynamic events.
hu A versenypályán az első lépés a járművek műszaki ellenőrzése. A versenybírák döntik el, hogy az autó megfelel-e a szigorú technikai és biztonsági előírásoknak. Az ú.n. statikus versenyszámok során a csapatok prezentálják az autó technikai paramétereit, a tervezett kivitelezési költségeket és az üzleti tervet. A bírák vizsgálják a „vállalkozás” szervezettségét, a projekt professzionális kivitelezését és megvalósíthatóságát, felvetéseikkel, kérdéseikkel a tervezés alaposságát, a tervezési döntések okait vizsgálják. A statikus versenyszámok legjobbjai külön díjazásban részesülnek. A statikus versenyszámokat a látványos dinamikus versenyszámok követik. A 75 méter hosszú, egyenes versenypályán gyorsulásban mérik össze erejüket a versenyzők. Az erősorrend 4-4 mért sprint alapján alakul ki.
A 8-as alakú pályán - ú.n. Skid Pad - a járművek kormányozhatóságát, terhelhetőségét tesztelik. Minden autónak balra és jobbra is 2-2 kört kell megtennie a pályán. Ebben az esetben is a köridők minősítik a járműveket. Az Autocross, azaz sprint versenyszám egy kijelölt versenypályán kerül megrendezésre. A járművek sorrendjét szintén a köridők adják, illetve a főversenyszám, az Endurance rajtsorrendje is itt dől el. Az Endurance a tartósság és a megbízhatóság versenyszáma. Ennek során a veresenyzőknek 22 km-t kell teljesíteniük a lehető legrövidebb idő alatt. A versenyszám során a tüzelőanyagfelhasználás és a megbízhatóság is értékelődik. A összetett verseny végső sorrendje a 3 statikus és 4 dinamikus versenyszám során összegyűjtött pontok alapján áll össze.

Location By car: The Győr-Gönyü Harbor is located approximately 10 km away from Győr, in the direction of Budapest On Route 1. GPS coordinates: 47°43’57.07”, 17°46’16.83” By bus: It is recommended to buy the ticket from Győr Main Bus Station to Gönyü, Károlyházapuszta stop, from the bus stop the location is about 300-400 m by feet. The bus schedule can be found at www.volan.hu.

FSH Card en Thanks to the FSH Card, there will be no cash used on Formula Student Hungary 2012. The FSH Card is an electronic voucher issued by the organizers, which can only be used during the event. You will only be able to pay in the venue’s restaurant and gift shop, and in the FSH Club with the FSH Card! During payment the FSH Card should be touched to the terminal and should be held there until the end of the transaction (couple seconds). After every purchase or recharge you will receive a slip that informs you

The FSH Card is acquirable before the event on the 16th of August in the FSH Hostel, and during every event day in the Event Control with the following opening times: • Event Control: 17th-20th of August 07:30-18:00
about the used or recharged credit, and about the old and new credit balance. During the event the credit balance of the FSH Card can be checked at any terminal, a slip may be requested about the balance. In case of an argument between the participant and the trader, which they can not solve, they can ask for help at the recharge point at the Event Control and in the FSH Club at opening times. To help solving these issues, the POS terminal can show the last transaction, card credit balance can be printed, and the card stores the last 50 transactions.
The cards may only be recharged with cash, Forint or Euro. At recharging with EUR we will not be able to accept coins. The uploaded cash is converted to credits. 1 credit is 1 EUR, the exact Forint Credit rate will be fixed and published one week before the event. This rate will remain fixed until the end of event. The minimum recharge amount is 5 Credit the maximum is 500 Credit. Recharge is only possible with whole credits! The following fees have to be paid at first recharge, upon receiving the card: 2 Credit one time system usage fee, 2 Credit deposit for the card. About the usage fee you will receive a separate receipt, the deposit for the card - will appear on your slip and will be payed back in Forints upon returning the card. In case of losing the card the credits on the card are also -lost, they are not recoverable,
and the card may not be deactivated. A new card can be acquired, however the previous balance is not transferable. We cannot take back damaged cards.

FSH Card hu A Szervező a Formula
Student Hungary 2012 rendezvényt készpénzmentessé teszi: FSH Kártyát bocsát ki. Az FSH Kártya jogilag a Szervező által kibocsátott, nem névre szóló elektronikus utalvány, ami csak a rendezvény ideje alatt használható. Az FSH rendezvény egész területén (étterem, ajándék bolt) és az FSH Clubban csak a kártya segítségével történhet vásárlás. A fizetés során felkérésre az FSH kártyákat a terminálhoz kell érinteni és a tranzakció végéig (néhány másodperc), ott kell tartani. Minden tranzakciókról a POS

terminálok bizonylatot (slip) nyomtatnak amin az elhasznált vagy feltöltött, illetve a kezdő és az új egyenleg látható. A rendezvény egész ideje alatt ellenőrizhető az FSH kártya egyenlege bármelyik terminálnál, erről nyugta kérhető. Amennyiben vita keletkezik a vevő és kereskedő között, amit közösen nem tudnak megoldani, a pályán az Event Controlban illetve az FSH Clubban a feltöltő pontnál kérhetnek segítséget nyitva tartási időben. A viták rendezését segíti, hogy a POS terminál az utolsó tranzakciót meg tudja mutatni, kártyaegyenleget lehet nyomtatni,
A kártya feltöltése csak készpénzben lehetséges, Forintban és Euróban egyaránt. Eurós feltöltés esetén aprópénzt nem áll módunkban elfogadni. A kártya letéti díja szintén 2 kredit, ez megjelenik az első feltöltéskor adott slipen külön részletezve, ami a kártya leadásakor visszajár forintban. A kártya elvesztése, sérülése
esetén az, illetve a rajta lévő kreditek nem pótolhatóak. A kártyát letiltani nem lehet, viszont új kártya igénylésére van lehetőség. Azonban a korábbi egyenleg nem vihető át. Sérült kártyát nem áll módunkban visszavenni.

en As an innovative idea we created the Formula Student Hungary Club. As the accommodation of the participants, judges, and organisers was at different locations, there was a need for a meeting point where people could rest, network, exchange ideas and experiences and work together. Just as we did in the competition area, in the FSH Club we established a student-friendly environment offering highlevel service and a barbecue at

student-friendly prices. In 2012 a new location, the Bahnhof Győr will be the place to meet at. The pub is located on the bank of the Mosoni-Danube, right next to the Hostel. From the open terrace of the two storey building the riverside can be directly approached, a barbecue tent and displays are also awaiting the guests, on which the FSH TV will be aired every night. You can only pay in the FSH Club through the FSH card payment system.

hu A Formula Student Hungary szervező csapatának újításaként hoztuk létre az FSH Clubot. Mivel a résztvevők, a bírák és a szervezők szálláshelye más-más helyszínen található, szükségesnek láttuk, hogy létrehozzunk egy olyan találkozási pontot, ahol mindenki kipihenheti a nap fáradalmait, lehetőség van a találkozásokra, beszélgetésekre a más országokból érkezők hallgatókkal. Ahogy a verseny helyszínén, úgy az FSH Clubban is arra törekszünk, hogy hallgatóbarát környezetben, elérhető áron nyújtsunk magas
színvonalú szolgáltatást a hazánkba érkezőknek. 2012-ben új helyszín, a Bahnhof Győr lesz a találkozások színtere. A söröző a Mosoni-Duna-partján, a kollégium közvetlen szomszédságában található. A kétemeletes épület tágas erkélyéről közvetlenül elérhető a folyópart, a vendégeket barbecue-sátor és óriás kijelzők is várják, melyeken esténként az FSH TV műsora is követhető. A fizetés az FSH Clubban is a kártyás fizetési rendszeren keresztül történik!

Such novelties as the FSH Club, the quality student dorm accommodation, the cheap food, the good atmosphere creating speaker, and the early night artificial rain for decreasing the heat, is connected to the first Hungarian race. The novelties of 2011 were, the expanded race court, and the bigger catering tent, and the souvenirs with FSH design, the mist-gates and also the roofed grandstand. These traditions will be part of the Hungarian race this year, just like in the previous ones, we also prepared with other surprises for 2012. From last years 11 participating team, this year 9 has decided to take part in the event, which grew to 32 participating teams in 2011. In 2012 we have 18 returning teams from the competitors of 2011. In 2010, 150, in 2011 450

competitors came to the event. This number reaches 750 this year! The biggest number of teams, just like last year (14) and the year before (6) are coming from Germany, this year this number is 19! From the other 11 nations the Czech and the Austrian 4-4, the Italian and the Hungarian 3-3 the Indian 2, and the English, Estonian, Finnish, French Polish and

hu 2010-ben az első magyar versenyen 6 ország 11 csapatát láthattuk vendégül a Győr–Gönyűi Kikötőben. A 11 részt vevő csapatból 9 a 2011-re 32 csapatosra bővült mezőnyben is képviseltette magát. A 2012-es versenyen a 2011-es mezőnyből 18 csapat a visszatérő! A versenyre 2010-ben 150, 2012-ben közel 450 versenyző érkezett. Az idei versenyzői létszám eléri a 750 főt! A legtöbb csapatot – ahogy tavaly (14) és tavalyelőtt (6) is – Németországból fogadjuk, szám szerint 19-et! A többi 10 nemzet közül a cseh, az osztrák és a magyar 4-4, az olasz 3, az indiai 2, míg az angol, az észt, a finn, a lengyel és az orosz 1-1 csapatot delegál a harmadik magyar versenyre. Idén így 10 nemzet 41 csapata látogat el hozzánk. A első magyar verseny újításai közé tartozott az FSH Club, az igényes kollégiumi szállás, az olcsó ételek, a jó hangulatot teremtő szpíker, valamint a forróság enyhítésére bevezetett kora esti mesterséges eső. A második rendezvény újdonsága volt a kibővített versenypálya, a megnövelt területű catering sátor, az FSH dizájnnal ellátott ajándéktárgyak, a párásító kapuk s természetesen a fedett lelátó is. E hagyományok idén is a verseny részét képezik, s tervezünk újabb meglepetéseket is. A kártyás fizetési rendszer, a kibővített, új funkciókkal ellátott Event Control mellett új ajándéktárgyak és különleges, a pálya szintjétől elemelt lelátó is várja majd a versenyzőket, s a versenyre kilátogatókat.
