1.1 Funktion Die Rollstuhl-Sitzkissen Terra, Aquos und Aerial wurden für maximale Druckentlastung entwickelt. Die anatomisch geformte Schaumstoffbasis (siehe Abb. 1/2) ermöglicht eine definierte Positionierung des Benutzers. Auftretende Druckspitzen werden auf eine größtmögliche Oberfläche verteilt. Die Spezialbezüge und atmungsaktiven Materialien bei einigen Modellen (siehe Tabelle) sorgen für eine Verringerung der Scherkräfte und sichern einen hohen Sitzkomfort des Benutzers. Die Elemente der Rollstuhl-Sitzkissen haben folgende Funktion: Element rückfedernde Schaumstoff­ basis; anatomisch geformt

2 Verwendung 2.1 Verwendungszweck Das Sitzkissen ist ausschließlich als Rollstuhlzubehör je nach Schweregrad zur Dekubitusprophylaxe und Dekubitustherapie bei Patienten mit Querschnittslähmung, Halbseitenlähmung, neurologischen Defiziten, rheumatischen Nerven- und Muskelerkrankungen sowie bei geriatrischen Patienten einzu­ setzen.

2.2 Einsatzgebiet Das Sitzkissen kann ohne Einschränkung bei Benutzern bis 100 kg Gewicht eingesetzt werden. Eine Überschreitung des maximal zulässigen Benutzergewichts führt zum Haftungsausschluss.

2.3 Kontraindikation 2.3.1 Absolute Kontraindikationen Keine. 2.3.2 Relative Kontraindikationen Treten bei der Benutzung Hautrötungen auf, ist die Verwendung des Sitzkissens unverzüglich einzu­ stellen und der behandelnde Arzt bzw. Therapeut zu kontaktieren.

2.4 Weitere Nutzungseinschränkungen Das Produkt ist für den Einsatz an einem Benutzer konzipiert. Der Wiedereinsatz ist nicht zulässig.

2.5 Erforderliche Qualifikation Dieses Produkt darf nur von entsprechend ausgebildetem Fachpersonal ausgewählt und angepasst werden.

3.2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

VORSICHT Schwerpunktverlagerung durch Einsetzen des Sitzkissens Umkippen, Sturz ► Überprüfen Sie nach dem Einsetzen des Sitzkissens in den Rollstuhl immer den Schwerpunkt des Rollstuhls in Anwesenheit des Benutzers. ► Statten Sie bei Bedarf den Rollstuhl zur Verbesserung der Stabilität mit einem Kippschutz oder einstellbaren Achshaltern aus.

VORSICHT Fehlende Erprobung vor einer Daueranwendung Hautrötungen, Dekubitus ► Jedes Sitzkissen sollte vor der Daueranwendung einige Stunden unter medizinischer Aufsicht vom Benutzer erprobt werden. Stellen Sie dabei sicher, dass beim Benutzer keine Hautrötun­ gen auftreten.

3.3 Hinweise zur Weitergabe an den Patienten/die Begleitperson

VORSICHT Hautschädigungen bei Daueranwendung Hautrötungen ► Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Haut auf rote Stellen. Hautrötungen sind ein klinischer Indikator für Gewebeschädigungen. Beenden Sie beim Auftreten von Hautrötungen sofort die Anwen­ dung des Sitzkissens. Konsultieren Sie einen Arzt oder Therapeut.

VORSICHT Mangelnde Hautpflege Wundliegen ► Alle Otto Bock Sitzkissen wurden zur Verringerung des Wundliegens entwickelt. Allerdings kann kein Sitzkissen den Sitzdruck ganz eliminieren oder das Wundliegen vollständig verhin­ dern. ► Achten Sie bei der Anwendung eines Otto Bock Sitzkissens immer auf eine sorgfältige Haut­ pflege, insbesondere durch gesunde Ernährung, Hygiene und regelmäßige Druckentlastung.

HINWEIS Unsachgemäße Verwendung Beschädigung der Kissenoberfläche ► Lassen Sie das Kissen nicht mit scharfen Gegenständen in Kontakt kommen. ► Setzen Sie das Kissen nicht übermäßiger Hitze oder offenem Feuer aus.

4 Anlieferung 4.1 Lieferumfang Das Sitzkissen wird gebrauchsfertig geliefert. Zum Lieferumfang gehören: • Sitzkissen mit Bezug und Einleger (siehe Tabelle) Modell Terra Aquos Aerial • Gebrauchsanweisung

4.2 Zubehör Für das Sitzkissen Aerial werden BREATHAIR®-Einleger mit unterschiedlichen Härtegraden angebo­ ten: weich (40 kg/m3); mittel (50 kg/m3; in der Standardlieferung enthalten); hart (60 kg/m3).

5 Gebrauch 5.1 Positionierung Beim täglichen Gebrauch ist auf die richtige Lage des Kissens im Rollstuhl zu achten: • Die Abduktionserhöhung (siehe Abb. 1/2, Pos. 1) muss nach vorne zeigen. • Der aufgenähte Klettstreifen dient zur Fixierung des Kissens im Rollstuhl. • Wurde der Bezug abgenommen, ist auf die richtige Montage des Bezuges zu achten (siehe Kapi­ tel „Demontage/Montage“).

5.2 Demontage/Montage Demontage Zum Reinigen ist es möglicherweise erforderlich, Schaumstoffbasis und Schaumstoffeinleger aus dem Bezug zu entfernen: 1) Den Reißverschluss des Bezugs öffnen. 2) Die Schaumstoffteile sowie vorhandene Einleger entnehmen.

Montage 1) Nur bei Modell Aerial: Den BREATHAIR®-Einleger (siehe Abb. 5, Pos. 3) in die Aussparung am Boden des Schaumstoffs einlegen. 2) Bei allen Modellen: Den Bezug so über das Schaumstoffkissen ziehen, dass die Abduktionser­ höhung an der reißverschlussfreien Seite des Bezuges anliegt (siehe Abb. 6).

5.3 Reinigung

HINWEIS Unsachgemäße Reinigung des Sitzkissens Beschädigung des Sitzkissens ► Verwenden Sie beim Reinigen keine Bleiche. ► Trocknen Sie Schaumstoffteile und Einlegeelemente niemals im Trockner.

INFORMATION ► Tauschen Sie bei fortgeschrittenem Verschleiß den Bezug aus. ► Sollte es notwendig sein, das Kissen (Bezug/Schaumstoffteile) zu desinfizieren, geben Sie beim

Waschen handelsübliche Hygienespüler hinzu (z.B. Sagrotan® Wäsche-Hygienespüler). ► Bei starker Inkontinenz sollte ein zusätzlicher Inkontinenzbezug verwendet werden. Waschen

Sie den Bezug separat bei 40 ºC mit einem milden, umweltfreundlichen Waschmittel. Bezug 1) Den Bezug zur separaten Wäsche mittels Reißverschluss öffnen und abnehmen. 2) Der Bezug kann bei 65 °C mit einem milden, umweltfreundlichen Waschmittel gewaschen wer­ den. Empfehlung: Den Bezug im Schongang bei 40 ºC waschen, um übermäßigem Verschleiß vorzu­ beugen. 3) An der Luft trocknen lassen. Bei Nutzung eines Wäschetrockners im Schongang bei niedrigen Temperaturen trocknen. Schaumstoffteile und BREATHAIR®-Einleger 1) Alle Schaumstoffteile in 40°C warmen Wasser mit einem handelsüblichen Feinwaschmittel wa­ schen. Keinen Weichspüler verwenden. Gut ausspülen. 2) An der Luft trocknen lassen. Direkte Hitzeeinwirkung vermeiden (z. B. Sonnenbestrahlung, Ofenoder Heizkörperhitze).

6 Rechtliche Hinweise 6.1 Haftung Der Hersteller haftet nur, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und zu den vorge­ gebenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird. Der Hersteller empfiehlt das Produkt sachgemäß zu handhaben und entsprechend der Anleitung zu pflegen. Für Schäden, die durch Bauteile und Ersatzteile verursacht werden, die nicht vom Hersteller freige­ geben wurden, haftet der Hersteller nicht. Reparaturen sind nur von autorisierten Fachhändlern oder vom Hersteller selbst durchzuführen.

6.2 CE-Konformität Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93/42/EWG für Medizinprodukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien für Medizinprodukte nach Anhang IX der Richtlinie wurde das Produkt als Zubehör in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde von Otto Bock in alleiniger Ver­ antwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1.1 Function The Terra, Aquos and Aerial wheelchair seat cushions were developed for maximum pressure relief. The anatomically shaped foam base (see Fig. 1/2) permits defined positioning of the user. Any pres­ sure peaks are distributed over the largest possible area. The special covers and breathable materials on some models (see table) reduce shear forces and ensure a high level of seating comfort for the user. 2 Application 2.1 Intended Use The seat cushion is to be used exclusively as a wheelchair accessory, depending on the degree of severity, for decubitus prophylaxis and decubitus therapy for users with paraplegia, hemiplegia, neur­ ological deficits, rheumatic nervous and muscle disorders, as well as for geriatric patients.

2.2 Area of Application The seat cushion can be used by users with a weight of up to 100 kg with no restrictions. We assume no liability if the maximum user weight is exceeded.

2.3 Contraindications 2.3.1 Absolute Contraindications None. 2.3.2 Relative Contraindications If redness of the skin occurs during use, stop using the seat cushion immediately and consult the attending doctor or therapist.

2.4 Further Usage Restrictions The product is designed for use by one user only. Re-use of the product is not permitted.

2.5 Required Qualifications This product may only be selected and adapted by trained authorised personnel.

gravity in the presence of the user. ► If required, equip the wheelchair with an anti-tipper or adjustable axle supports to improve sta­

bility.

CAUTION Lack of testing prior to long-term use Skin reddening, decubitus ► Any seat cushion should be tried out by the user under medical supervision for several hours prior to long-term use. Monitor the user for skin reddening during this time.

3.3 Information to be Provided to the Patient/Attendant

CAUTION Skin damage during long-term use Skin reddening ► Examine the skin for redness on a regular basis. Skin reddening is a clinical indicator for tissue damage. Should redness of the skin occur, stop using the seat cushion immediately. Consult a doctor or therapist.

CAUTION Lack of skin care Pressure sores ► All Otto Bock seat cushions were developed to reduce pressure sores. A cushion alone, however, cannot eliminate sitting pressure or possible pressure sores completely. ► When using an Otto Bock seat cushion, always pay attention to proper skin care - especially through a healthy diet, hygiene and regular pressure relief.

NOTICE Incorrect use Damage to the surface of the cushion ► Do not allow the cushion to come into contact with sharp objects. ► Do not expose the cushion to excessive heat or open flame.

4.2 Accessories For the Aerial seat cushion, BREATHAIR® inserts are offered in various degrees of hardness: soft (40 kg/m3); medium (50 kg/m3; included in the standard scope of delivery); hard (60 kg/m3).

5 Operation 5.1 Positioning Correct positioning of the cushion in the wheelchair must be maintained for daily use: • The raised abduction area must face forward (Fig. 1/2, Pos. 1). • The hook and loop strip sewn to the cushion serves to fix it in the wheelchair. • If the cover has been removed, it must be reapplied correctly (see the section "Installa­ tion/Removal").

5.2 Installation/Removal Removal The foam base and foam insert may have to be removed from the cover for cleaning: 1) Open the zipper on the cover. 2) Remove the foam components as well as the insert, if any. Installation 1) Aerial model only: put the BREATHAIR® insert (see Fig. 5, Pos. 3) into the recess at the bottom of the foam component. 2) All models: pull the cover over the foam cushion so that the raised abduction area is up against the side of the cover without the zipper (see Fig. 6).

5.3 Cleaning

NOTICE Improper cleaning of the seat cushion Damage to the seat cushion ► Do not use any bleaching agents for cleaning. ► Never dry the foam components and inserts in a dryer.

INFORMATION ► Replace the cover when it shows signs of advanced wear. ► Should it be necessary to disinfect the cushion (cover/foam components), add a standard

hygiene detergent during washing (e.g. Sagrotan® laundry hygiene detergent). ► In case of heavy incontinence, an additional incontinence cover should be used. The cover

should be washed separately at 40 ºC using a mild, environmentally friendly detergent. Cover 1) For separate washing, open the zipper on the cover and remove it. 2) The cover can be washed at 65°C using a mild, environmentally friendly detergent. Recommendation: Wash the cover on the gentle cycle at 40 ºC in order to prevent excessive wear. 3) Allow to air dry. When using an automatic clothes drier, select the gentle cycle at low temperat­ ure.

Foam components and BREATHAIR® insert 1) Wash all foam components in 40 °C warm water with standard mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly. 2) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e. g. sunlight, stove or radiator).

6 Legal Information 6.1 Liability The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the device has been used under the conditions and for the purpose described. The manufacturer recommends that the device be used and maintained according to the instructions for use. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by components and spare parts not approved by the manufacturer. Repairs must be carried out exclusively by authorised dealers or by the manufacturer.

6.2 CE Conformity This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for medical devices. This device has been classified as a class I device according to the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines. The declaration of conformity was therefore created by Otto Bock with sole responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.

2 Utilizzo 2.1 Uso previsto Il cuscino è destinato esclusivamente all'uso come accessorio per carrozzina, in base al livello di gravità evidenziato, per la profilassi antidecubito e la terapia antidecubito in pazienti affetti da para­ plegia, emiplegia, deficit neurologici, patologie muscolari e dei nervi di natura reumatica e per pa­ zienti geriatrici.

2.2 Campo d’impiego Il cuscino può essere utilizzato senza limitazioni per pazienti con un peso corporeo massimo di 100 kg. In caso di utilizzo per pazienti di peso superiore alla portata massima il produttore si esime da qua­ lunque responsabilità.

2.3.2 Controindicazioni In caso di comparsa di arrossamenti cutanei, è necessario interrompere immediatamente l’utilizzo del cuscino e consultare il medico curante o il terapista.

2.4 Ulteriori limiti all’impiego del prodotto Il prodotto è concepito esclusivamente per l’impiego su un solo paziente. Non è consentito il riutilizzo.

2.5 Qualifiche richieste Questo prodotto deve essere scelto e adattato esclusivamente da personale tecnico specializzato.

3.2 Indicazioni generali per la sicurezza

CAUTELA Spostamento del baricentro dovuto all'utilizzo del cuscino Pericolo di ribaltamento, caduta ► Dopo aver collocato il cuscino sulla carrozzina controllare sempre il baricentro della carrozzina senza il paziente. ► Se necessario, equipaggiare la carrozzina di una ruotina antiribaltamento o di supporti assiali regolabili, al fine di migliorarne la stabilità.

CAUTELA Mancata prova prima di un utilizzo permanente Arrossamenti cutanei, decubito ► Ogni cuscino dovrebbe essere testato per alcune ore dal paziente sotto controllo medico prima dell'uso permanente. Accertarsi che il paziente non presenti arrossamenti cutanei.

3.3 Indicazioni per la consegna al paziente/accompagnatore

CAUTELA Danni alla cute dovuti ad un utilizzo costante Arrossamenti cutanei ► Verificare regolarmente l'eventuale formazione di arrossamenti cutanei che possono essere se­ gnali clinici di possibili danni dei tessuti dell’epidermide. In presenza di arrossamenti cutanei in­ terrompere immediatamente l'uso del cuscino. Consultare un medico o un terapeuta.

CAUTELA Cura insufficiente della pelle Piaghe da decubito ► Tutti i cuscini Otto Bock sono stati sviluppati per la riduzione delle piaghe da decubito. 5 Uso 5.1 Posizionamento Durante l’uso quotidiano, verificare la corretta posizione del cuscino sulla carrozzina: • Il rialzo per abduzione deve essere rivolto in avanti (vedi fig. 1/2, pos. 1). • La chiusura in velcro applicata serve al fissaggio del cuscino sulla carrozzina. • In caso di rimozione del rivestimento, controllare che sia stato rimontato correttamente (vedi capi­ tolo "Smontaggio/Montaggio").

5.2 Montaggio/Smontaggio Smontaggio Per la pulizia, potrebbe essere necessario estrarre la base in espanso e l’inserto in espanso dal rive­ stimento: 1) Aprire la cerniera del rivestimento. 2) Rimuovere le parti in espanso e l'inserto. Montaggio 1) Solo per il modello Aerial: collocare l'inserto BREATHAIR® (vedi fig. 5, pos. 3) nell'apertura sot­ to il materiale in espanso. 2) Per tutti i modelli: applicare il rivestimento sul cuscino in espanso in modo che il rialzo per abdu­ zione si trovi sul lato del rivestimento privo di chiusura lampo (vedi fig. 6).

► Non usare candeggina per la pulizia. ► Non utilizzare un'asciugatrice per asciugare le parti in espanso e gli inserti.

INFORMAZIONE ► In caso di usura eccessiva, sostituire il rivestimento. ► Se si rendesse necessario sottoporre il cuscino (rivestimento/parti in espanso) a disinfezione,

aggiungere un comune prodotto igienizzante (ad es. Sagrotan®) durante il lavaggio. ► In caso di forte incontinenza, si dovrebbe utilizzare un ulteriore rivestimento per incontinenza.

Lavare il rivestimento separatamente a 40 °C con un detergente delicato ed ecologico. Rivestimento 1) Per lavarlo separatamente, aprire la cerniera del rivestimento e rimuoverlo. 2) Il rivestimento è lavabile a 65 °C con un detergente delicato ed ecologico. Suggerimento: lavare il rivestimento con un programma per capi delicati a 40 °C, per prevenirne l'usura eccessiva. 3) Lasciare asciugare il prodotto all’aria. Se si utilizza un'asciugatrice scegliere un programma per capi delicati a bassa temperatura. Parti in espanso e inserto BREATHAIR® 1) Lavare tutte le parti in espanso in acqua calda a 40° C usando un comune detergente per capi delicati. Non utilizzare ammorbidenti. Risciacquare bene. 2) Lasciare asciugare il prodotto all’aria. Evitare l'esposizione diretta a fonti di calore (ad es. raggi solari, calore di stufe, termosifoni).

6 Indicazioni legali 6.1 Responsabilità La garanzia è valida solo qualora il prodotto venga impiegato agli scopi previsti e alle condizioni ri­ portate. Il produttore raccomanda di utilizzare correttamente il prodotto e di attenersi alle istruzioni fornite. Il produttore non è responsabile in caso di danni causati da componenti e parti di ricambio non testa­ te dal produttore. Le riparazioni devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da rivenditori autorizzati op­ pure direttamente dal produttore.

6.2 Conformità CE Il prodotto è conforme agli obblighi della direttiva CEE 93/42 relativa ai prodotti medicali. 1.1 Functie De rolstoelkussens Terra, Aquos en Aerial zijn ontwikkeld voor maximale drukontlasting. Door de anatomisch gevormde schuimstof basis (zie afb. 1/2) kan de gebruiker een vastgelegde positie innemen. Mogelijke drukpunten worden over een zo groot mogelijk oppervlak verdeeld. 2 Gebruik 2.1 Gebruiksdoel Het zitkussen mag uitsluitend worden gebruikt voor rolstoelen, afhankelijk van de ernst als decubi­ tusprofylaxe en decubitustherapie bij patiënten met een dwarslaesie, een eenzijdige verlamming, neu­ rologische gebreken, reumatische zenuw- en spieraandoeningen evenals bij geriatrische patiënten.

2.2 Toepassingsgebied Het zitkussen kan zonder enige beperking door gebruikers met een lichaamsgewicht tot 100 kg wor­ den gebruikt. Een overschrijding van het maximaal toegelaten gebruikersgewicht leidt tot uitsluiting van aansprake­ lijkheid.

2.3 Contra-indicaties 2.3.1 Absolute contra-indicaties Geen. 2.3.2 Relatieve contra-indicaties Indien de huid tijdens gebruik op bepaalde plaatsen rood wordt, moet het gebruik van het zitkussen onmiddellijk worden beëindigd en moet er contact worden opgenomen met de behandelend arts of therapeut.

2.4 Overige gebruiksbeperkingen Het product is ontwikkeld voor één gebruiker. Opnieuw gebruiken is niet toegestaan.

2.5 Vereiste kwalificatie Dit product mag uitsluitend worden geselecteerd en aangepast door daarvoor opgeleide vakmensen.

3.2 Algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften

VOORZICHTIG Verschuiving van het zwaartepunt door gebruik van het zitkussen Kantelen, vallen ► Controleer na plaatsing van het zitkussen in de rolstoel altijd het zwaartepunt van de rolstoel in aanwezigheid van de gebruiker. ► Rust de rolstoel indien nodig ter verbetering van de stabiliteit uit met een anti-kiepsteun of instel­ bare ashouders.

VOORZICHTIG Ontbrekende test voor langdurig gebruik Rood worden van de huid, decubitus ► Elk zitkussen moet voordat het gedurende langere tijd wordt gebruikt een paar uur onder medisch toezicht door de gebruiker worden uitgeprobeerd. Daarbij moet worden gecontroleerd of de huid nergens rood wordt.

3.3 Aanwijzingen voor de patiënt/de begeleidende persoon

VOORZICHTIG Huidbeschadiging bij langdurig gebruik Rood worden van de huid ► Controleer de huid regelmatig op rode plekken. Rode plekken op de huid kunnen wijzen op weefselbeschadigingen. Indien de huid op bepaalde plaatsen rood wordt, moet het gebruik van het zitkussen onmiddellijk worden beëindigd. Raadpleeg een arts of therapeut.

VOORZICHTIG Ontbrekende huidverzorging Doorliggen ► Alle Otto Bock zitkussens zijn ontwikkeld om doorliggen tot een minimum te beperken. Geen enkel zitkussen kan de zitdruk echter volledig elimineren of doorliggen volledig voorkomen. ► Zorg bij het gebruik van een Otto Bock zitkussen altijd voor een zorgvuldige huidverzorging, met name door een gezonde voeding, hygiëne en regelmatige drukontlasting.

LET OP Verkeerd gebruik Beschadiging van het kussenoppervlak ► Zorg ervoor dat het kussen niet in contact komt met scherpe voorwerpen. ► Stel het kussen niet bloot aan overmatige hitte of open vuur.

5 Gebruik 5.1 Positionering Zorg er in het dagelijks gebruik voor dat het kussen op de juiste manier in de rolstoel ligt: • De abductieverhoging (zie afb. 1/2, pos. 1) moet naar voren wijzen. • Het opgestikte klittenband is bedoeld om het kussen in de rolstoel te fixeren. • Als de hoes is verwijderd, moet ervoor worden gezorgd dat deze weer correct wordt aange­ bracht (zie hoofdstuk „Demontage/Montage“).

5.2 Montage/demontage Demontage Voor het reinigen is het eventueel noodzakelijk om de schuimstof basis en schuimstof inlegstukken uit de hoes te halen: 1) Open de ritssluiting van de hoes. 2) Verwijder de schuimstof delen alsook de aanwezige inlegstukken. Montage 1) Alleen bij model Aerial: plaats het BREATHAIR®-inlegstuk (zie afb. 5, pos. 3) in de uitsparing onderaan het schuimstof. 2) Bij alle modellen: trek de hoes zodanig over het schuimstof kussen heen, dat de abductieverho­ ging aan de zijde zonder ritssluiting ligt (zie afb. 6).

5.3 Reiniging

LET OP Ondeskundige reiniging van het zitkussen Beschadiging van het zitkussen ► Gebruik geen bleekmiddel bij het reinigen. ► Droog schuimstof delen en inlegelementen nooit in de wasdroger.

INFORMATIE ► Vervang de hoes bij te sterke slijtage. ► Indien het kussen (hoes/schuimstof delen) gedesinfecteerd moet worden, voeg dan bij het was­

sen een daarvoor geschikt desinfectiemiddel toe (bijv. Sagrotan®). ► Gebruik bij ernstige incontinentie naast de normale hoes een incontinentiehoes. Was deze hoes

apart op 40 ºC met een mild, milieuvriendelijk wasmiddel. Hoes 1) Open de ritssluiting en haal de hoes van het kussen af om deze te wassen. 2) De hoes kan met een mild, milieuvriendelijk wasmiddel op 65 °C worden gewassen. Aanbeveling: was de hoes met het fijnwasprogramma op 40 ºC om sterke slijtage te voorkomen. 3) Laat de hoes aan de lucht drogen. Gebruik bij een wasdroger het fijnwasprogramma met een lage temperatuur. Schuimstof delen en BREATHAIR®-inlegstukken 1) Was alle schuimstof delen op 40°C met een normaal fijnwasmiddel. Gebruik geen wasverzach­ ter. Spoel na het wassen goed uit. 2) Laat aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd blootstelling aan directe hitte (bijv. zonnestraling of de hitte van een kachel of radiator).

6 Juridische informatie 6.1 Aansprakelijkheid De fabrikant is uitsluitend aansprakelijk, indien het product wordt gebruikt onder de voorgeschreven voorwaarden en voor het doel waarvoor het bestemd is. De fabrikant adviseert volgens de daarvoor geldende regels met het product om te gaan en het op de in de gebruiksaanwijzing aangegeven manier te onderhouden. Voor schade die wordt veroorzaakt door onderdelen die niet door de fabrikant zijn goedgekeurd, is de fabrikant niet aansprakelijk. Reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door geautoriseerde dealers of door de fabrikant zelf.

6.2 CE-conformiteit Het product voldoet aan de eisen van richtlijn 93 / 42 / EEG betreffende medische hulpmiddelen. Op grond van de classificatiecriteria voor medische hulpmiddelen volgens bijlage IX van de richtlijn is het product als accessoire ingedeeld in klasse I. De verklaring van overeenstemming is door Otto Bock geheel onder eigen verantwoording opgemaakt volgens bijlage VII van de richtlijn.

2 Použití 2.1 Účel použití Tento sedák se používá výhradně jako příslušenství pro invalidní vozíky dle stupně postižení pro pre­ venci a terapii dekubitu u pacientů s příčným ochrnutím, ochrnutím na polovinu těla, neurologickými deficity, revmatoidními onemocněními nervů a svalstva a také u geriatrických pacientů.

2.2 Oblast použití Tento sedák lze používat bez omezení u uživatelů o tělesné hmotnosti do 100 kg. Překročení maximální přípustné hmotnosti uživatele vede k zániku odpovědnosti za výrobek.

2.3 Kontraindikace 2.3.1 Absolutní kontraindikace Žádné. 2.3.2 Relativní kontraindikace V případě, že dojde při používání k zarudnutí pokožky, je nutné okamžitě přestat sedák používat a kontaktovat ošetřujícího lékaře resp. terapeuta.

2.4 Další omezení použití Tento výrobek je koncipován pro použití na jednom jednom uživateli. Recirkulace tohoto zdravotnic­ kého prostředku je nepřípustná.

2.5 Požadovaná kvalifikace Výběr a přizpůsobení tohoto produktu smí provádět pouze náležitě vyškolený odborný personál.

3.2 Všeobecné bezpečnostní pokyny

UPOZORNĚNÍ Posunutí těžiště při nasazení sedáku do vozíku Nebezpečí převržení, pádu ► Po vložení sedáku do vozíku vždy zkontrolujte těžiště vozíku za přítomnosti uživatele. ► Proto v případě potřeby vybavte vozík pro zvýšení stability stabilizačním kolečkem nebo nastavi­ telnými adaptéry pro prodloužení rozvoru kol.

UPOZORNĚNÍ Neprovedení zkoušky před trvalým používáním Zarudnutí pokožky, dekubitus ► Před trvalým používáním by měl uživatel vyzkoušet každý sedák pod lékařských dozorem po do­ bu několika hodin. Přitom zkontrolujte, zda u uživatele nedochází k výskytu zarudnutí pokožky.

3.3 Upozornění pro předání pacientovi/doprovodné osobě

UPOZORNĚNÍ Poškození pokožky při trvalém používání Zarudnutí pokožky ► Pravidelně kontrolujte, zda se na pokožce nevytvářejí zarudlá místa. Zarudlá místa na pokožce jsou klinickým indikátorem poškození tkání. Pokud se na pokožce objeví zarudlá místa, tak je nutné okamžitě ukončit používání sedáku. Poraďte se s lékařem nebo s terapeutem.

UPOZORNĚNÍ Nedostatečná péče o pokožku Zatěžování rány sezením ► Všechny sedáky Otto Bock byly vyvinuty za účelem odlehčení rány. Žádný sedák nemůže však zcela eliminovat tlakovou zátěž při sezení a zatěžování rány. ► Při používání sedáku Otto Bock vždy dbejte na pečlivou péči o pokožku, zejména pak zdravou výživu a hygienu a provádění pravidelného odlehčování tlaku.

OZNÁMENÍ Neodborné použití Poškození povrchu sedáku ► Dejte pozor na to, aby sedák nepřišel do styku s ostrými předměty. 22

4.2 Příslušenství Pro sedák Aerial jsou nabízeny vložky BREATHAIR® různé tvrdosti: měkký (40 kg/m3); střední (50 kg/m3; obsažený ve standardní dodávce); tvrdý (60 kg/m3).

5 Použití 5.1 Polohování sedáku Při každodenním používání je nutné dbát na správnou polohu sedáku ve vozíku. • Zvýšení abdukce (viz obr. 1/2, poz. 1) musí ukazovat dopředu. • Přišitý suchý zip slouží k fixaci sedáku k vozíku. • Pokud byl potah sejmutý, je nutné dbát na správnou montáž potahu (viz kapitola „Demontáž/mon­ táž“).

5.2 Demontáž/montáž Demontáž Pro vyčištění může být zapotřebí vyjmout z potahu pěnovou základnu a pěnovou vložku. 1) Rozepněte zip potahu. 2) Vyjměte pěnové díly a také vložku, která je uvnitř. Montáž 1) Pouze u modelu Aerial: Vložte vložku BREATHAIR® (viz obr. 5, poz. 3) do vybrání na dně pěny. 2) U všech modelů: Natáhněte potah na pěnový polštář tak, aby byla abdukční vyvýšenina na stra­ ně potahu, na které není zip (obr. 6, poz. A).

5.3 Čištění

OZNÁMENÍ Neodborné čištění sedáku Nebezpečí poškození sedáku ► Nepoužívejte k čištění žádné bělicí prostředky. ► Pěnové díly a vložky se nesmí sušit v sušičce.

INFORMACE ► Pokud je potah opotřebený, tak jej vyměňte. ► Pokud by bylo zapotřebí sedák (potah/pěnové části) vydezinfikovat, tak přidejte běžný desin­

fekční prací prostředek (např. desinfekční prací prostředek Sagrotan®). ► V případě silné inkontinence by se měl navíc používat inkontinenční potah. Potah by se měl prát

odděleně při teplotě 40 ºC pomocí jemného ekologického pracího prostředku. 12/2011

Potah 1) Pro vyprání samotného potahu rozepněte zip a potah sejměte. 2) Potah lze prát odděleně při teplotě 65 ºC pomocí jemného ekologického pracího prostředku. Doporučení: Potah vyperte pomocí šetrného cyklu při teplotě 40 ºC, aby se předešlo jeho nad­ měrnému opotřebení. 3) Sušte volně na vzduchu. 6 Upozornění z hlediska zákonné odpovědnosti 6.1 Odpovědnost za výrobek Výrobce odpovídá za tento výrobek, jen když se bude používat za předepsaných podmínek a k urče­ nému účelu. Výrobce doporučuje, aby se s výrobkem manipulovalo odborně a aby bylo o něj pečová­ no podle návodu. Za škody způsobené použitím komponentů a náhradních dílů, které nebyly schválené výrobcem, vý­ robce neručí. Opravy výrobku smí provádět pouze autorizovaní prodejci nebo výrobce.

6.2 CE-shoda Tento výrobek splňuje požadavky směrnice č. 93/42/EHS pro zdravotnické prostředky. Na základě klasifikačních kritérií pro zdravotnické prostředky dle Přílohy IX této směrnice byl tento výrobek zařa­ zen do Třídy I. Proto bylo vydáno prohlášení o shodě společností Otto Bock ve výhradní odpovědnosti dle Přílohy VII této směrnice.
