History Dům U Hřebene - The first mention of the “Dům U Hřebene” (meaning The House at the Ridge) at the intersection of Celetná and Štupartská streets in Prague‘s Old Town is from before 1346. Today’s building is a neo-Renaissance palace that stood from 1883-1984. Before that, an old Baroque house stood here, but was demolished in 1882.
The Present In 2004 the building on this spot was rebuilt into the five-star luxury boutique Ventana Hotel. This Art Nouveau palace with high ceilings offers 29 comfortable rooms with views over Prague‘s Old Town.

Hotel library /Café The library in the Hotel Ventana is the ideal place for relaxation and a pleasant place for work meetings. The large windows offer a view of the monumental Gothic Tyn Church. The original feel of the library is complemented by the furniture and tables, made from a rare African veneer, and the subtle lighting from the lamps and crystal chandeliers Bar, telephone: 11 - The hotel bar is located in the five-story atrium in the middle of the hotel, and at first glance you‘ll notice its ingenious design. A handmade Swarovski crystal chandelier hangs from the glass ceiling of the atrium from sixmeter-long strands of intricately cut crystal that will enchant you with their sheer uniqueness and fragility.
