New Investments In Milk Processing • PT Indolakto is investing US$130 million in a new milk factory in Pasuruan,
East Java, to be completed by 2013 • PT Nestle Indonesia has invested US$100 million to expand its factory in East Java and will build a new “milo” factory in Karawang, West Java, in 2013 with investment of US$200 million • Garudafood is building its first milk factory in Rancaekek, West Java, worth US$28 million • PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy will build a new dairy factory in Central Java next year with investment of US$5 million to US$10 million • Itcohu Corporation from Japan has budgeted $60 million to build a processed cheese factory in Bekasi, West Java with construction commencing in 2013 • Ultra Jaya plans to start building a dairy production and milk processing plant in North Sumatra by 2013 • PT Fonterra is undertaking a feasibility study to build a dairy production and manufacturing base in Indonesia.
