You can see on the map where the team has travelled – the most remote spots are Timika in West Papua and Morotai in the Halmahera Islands.

JFF Goes to Alor Island
January 2016: The activity on Alor Island at the extreme eastern end of Flores was in cooperation with the AirForce’s Search and Rescue Service (SARS), where the AirForce organised several medical services for the people in this remote location, including eye screening and cataract operations with JFF.

Miracle day! 99 blind people can now see again including two 12-year-old boys. Over two days of screening 1,850 people were checked for eye problems and 1,608 were happy to have their vision improved with glasses, while 514 received eye drops for minor infections.
