Backgrond & Problems (Jakarta Bay & Ciliwung River) Jakarta Bay Jakarta Bay stretches from 106o 20’ and 107o 03’ east longitude, and from 5o 10’ to 6o 10’ south latitude. Administratively within 3 provinces, i.e., Banten Province, the Capital City of Jakarta, and West Java Province Jakarta Bay has multifunction i.e., Sources of sea resources, recreation area, etc. Jakarta Bay has been polluted One major river flowing into Jakarta Bay is Ciliwung river
